    Duramax Roofing & Construction Inc
i haved used duramax in the past for large projects and trusted them. I called to see if steve parker could tell me of a reliable plumber.he came and looked at it next day and repaired it himself with the cost of just the parts, saving me the cost of a plumber and new toliet.

    Price's General Construction
The owner was professional, honest and gave the impression that he wanted to do a good job for us. This remodel took about 5 weeks to complete. Charlie cut out an area in our bathroom for a vanity, and put in a new bathtub for us. Charlie was very receptive to ideas about what we wanted done. The bathroom looks great. In another room there was a wall down the middle of it that Charlie removed and put in a florescent light, built some shelves, put in a clothes rod, painted and put up trim. In the kitchen, Charlie painted, put in a ceiling fan, built an "island" in it so that we have more storage area, fixed the trim, and put handles on all of the drawers and cabinets. He painted, put in a ceiling fan, painted and fixed the trim in the front room. He put up a wall in our entrance room to cut the room in half. On one side, he installed a light, boxed in some ducting that was in the room to conceal it, painted, and put up trim. On the other half of the room Charlie made it in to a walk in closet, installed a florescent light, painted, and put up 3 clothes rods, one with a shelf on top of it for more storage. In the bedroom off of the walk in closet, Charlie painted, fixed the door and fixed the trim. Charlie cut out an are in the hallway, boxed it in, trimmed it and installed shelves for family pictures. In the last room, Charlie had to build a wall, built bookshelves for us along all of the walls, and built another bookshelf down the middle of the room. It resembles a small library room. Charlie also painted and trimmed the room, and also stained the bookshelves. I hope Charlie has some before and after pictures he can add. Overall, I would say that Charlie was professional, personable, and cared about what he was doing. He was very to receptive to changes we made as the remodel evolved. Charlie also was very up front about what he could or couldn't do, so we had an electrician come in and run the wires for all of the lights, but Charlie installed all of the lights once the wire was ran. The price was reasonable also. I would recommend Charlie to those out there with large or small jobs.

Steve was very responsive. He gave me a quote on our initial call and stuck by it. He was able to schedule the work quickly. He called prior to coming and arrived exactly on time. He was quick, professional and the work was done to satisfaction.

    Rollins Rentals & Rehabs LLC
I bought and scheduled this using the neighborhood handyman service of Angie's List.  The repair was fine and the person who did it was punctual, friendly, and professional, and also suggested that we not put heavy items in the drawer.  And it was certainly easy to set it up using the Angie's list program that brings a handyman to our neighborhood every Monday.  On the other hand, because I was setting it up without talking to anyone at Rollins, I had to guess whether I would need parts, and we paid for an extra half-hour for the handyman to go purchase them.  In fact, the repair took about 5 minutes and required no parts.  I would give the handyman service an A rating, but I have mixed feelings about the neighborhood handyman program from Angie's list.  It was convenient, but having Angie's list as a sort of "broker" resulted in what felt like a lack of communication and paying for a service we didn't need.

They've always been very good. They quoted what they prices are before they start their work. They were very reliable. They come when they say they're going to come. They provide and explain to you what needs to be done and what the costs are for the supplies and labor.

    Terry's Home Improvement
Actually the work went very well. Terry was late arriving on a couple of occassions. One time was 4 hours late and did not call to give us a heads up. The ramp work was very good and we modified some things to suit us as we went.

I purchased the deal last Fall. We have had a lot of trouble getting our schedules together. We finally agreed he would come out this Saturday. He then called and changed the date to Friday. He was a no call no show. I contacted him and he said he would not be able to come until Saturday. When  I confronted him about it he got upset and said he didn't want to do business with me. I didn't change the date he did.

The job was done promptly and looked great! We were only there a month to appreciate that work, but we have since hired him to complete multiple small projects at our new house. I'll give a review when that work is completed. Further, my in-laws were at our house when Cory completed the initial. They found him to be so professional and affable that they hired him to complete several handyman jobs at their own house. They were also very satisfied. I would definitely recommend Cory to other friends and family. He's honest, professional, and no task seems to small or large for him!
Also, considering how busy he is, his turn around time is about two weeks from initial contact to completed job.

    Healthy Homes
We had been looking into getting our crawlspace encapsulated due to dampness in our crawlspace and concerns of what more serious problems that could lead to. We had heard that mold and rotting floor joists could make our house impossible to resell.
We contacted Healthy Homes on the recommendation of a friend, and are we glad we did. We got estimates from several companies, but Healthy Homes stood out. They provided a clear and concise description of the work to be done and the benefits we should expect. Their estimate was over  a $1000 less than the others and their materials were the best out there. We really felt like they did the work with the same care as if they were doing it for themselves!
The people from Healthy Homes were friendly and polite. They returned our calls and answered all our questions. Their knowledge of the work they do was clearly evident both in their language and their final product.
They came out to provide us with recommendations and a free estimate of work to be done and the cost involved, they were on time for our appointment, and did a thorough inspection of the crawlspace. We never felt pressured by their presentation, no high pressure sales here. They took the time to explain not only concerns but also the process and rationale behind the work to be done.
When they came out to do the work, they cleaned out all the leftover debris from back when the home was built and hung all the wires that were laying all over from the cable and satellite companies over the years. They sealed openings between the crawlspace and outside and wrapped the space in plastic just as we agreed upon. Their quality of work was clearly evident from the before and after photos they provided us.

We got an Angie's big deal for 3 hours of handyman services.  The owner talked with me about what would likely be involved in the three jobs we had, and scheduled the service.  The two techs came out on time and were friendly and courteous.  They cleaned up after themselves and hauled off the old gazebo we were replacing.   Two of the jobs involved adjustments, which they told us might not be sufficient.  Sure enough, the doors fell back off the track and I had to call them back out.  They came out again on-time, measured and bought new parts, and completed the job in a way that should hold for a good long time.  My only reason for the Bs is that it wasn't real clear what the cost would be if they had to come back out.
