    Walla Painting
Jonathan and his team are just wonderful! Our painters were punctual, professional and fast. They were great with my family and pet and went over and above to make sure were happy with their work. We would most defiantly use them again and recommend them to anyone!

    The Painting Edge
The transformation in our kitchen is absolutely amazing. The cabinets do not look like they were painted or redone in any way - they look like brand new cabinets. The bedroom and bathroom look great as well. Todd was wonderful to work with and his crew was great as well. Todd was communicative, patient, and professional the whole way. We had no issues with the crew being in our house while we were at work and they cleaned up well each day. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this company!

Absolutely beautiful, from the beginning They were excellent in offering options and color combinations for ideas. Cracks etc. that need to be patched were difficult in my home because of textured walls. They did a beautiful job. The attention to details and the very fine precision of painting is extraordinary. They clean up after themselves at the end of each day. Remove items from the walls and shelves and replace them exactly where they were (if you want them to be returned to the same position.) I cannot say enough to recommend you

    American Cabinet Refacing
The installers (Chris, Dennis, and Daryl) were good about getting the work done, however, there were issues that came up. [Note: The installers Chris and Dennis who started out the first week (2/13 -2/17), followed by Dennis and Daryl (2/20 -2/23) did what they were told to do. Dennis, by far was the best and he listened and asked questions before doing something vs not asking at all. Dennis wins the award of Excellence in my book.] First, the day, we expected them (Monday, Feb 6, 2017) they were a "NO SHOW." When called, we were told that we were schedule for the following Monday, Feb 13. Jay Powell, owner and salesman for AMERICAN CABINET REFACING, told my husband that we should have received a letter 2 week ago confirming date, time, what to expect, timeline, etc. WE (my husband and I) never received a letter mailed or emailed. PROMBEM #1: Kate, wife of Jay Powell and Office Manage failed to send us this critical paperwork. Kate called on Jan 31, 2017 at 2:48 pm per my Caller ID and asked to confirm the color for the cabinets as wells as time the workmen would be there. She said, "They will be there next Monday (which would have been Feb 6th), at 9:30 am with Jay to help start the project. The rest of the days the guys like to start at 7:30 am." (Note: my kids need their sleep (3 and 7). To start banging around and making my kitchen practically inaccessible from the get go is not acceptable in my book. ONE I AM THE CUSTOMER, you American Cabinet Refacing, need to work on my schedule). The conversation with Kate ended with "our guys will be there at 9:30 am with Jay (owner) on Monday next week." On Monday, Feb 6th, 2017. NO ONE from AMERICAN CABINET REFACING shows up nor did we get an email or phone call explaining why they were not there. WE, HOMEOWNER called JAY to ask why he was not here at our home....?? Jay Powell's reply was "you should have gotten a letter from us stating the time and date of start. You are on the schedule for Monday, Feb 13th. It was never on the schedule for the Feb 6th." WHAT? I specifically went to the your store and talked to Kate in person regarding the date of start in November 21, 2016. Kate made a note on her 2017 Easter Seals calendar and also wrote it down on our folder. What happened to that folder, Kate?? PROBLEM #2: We specifically asked in the beginning before signing the paperwork with Jay Powell and American Cabinet Refacing, if we should complete the countertops first or wait until the cabinets were completed. Jay's reply was, "the Cambria Countertop folks will have a better level than mine. You can go ahead and get countertops in first. WRONG ANSWER. WHY? Because when you get Cambria Quartz or any stone countertops made specifically to your kitchen cabinetry, it is cut and measured exactly to your specifications. Since we were refacing our cabinets, the extra width of the wood boards were not fully accounted for when the Cambria Template folks came out. Jay Powell's company, uses 3/4" board vs the other companies out there (ie Pioneer Kitchen, Doors and Drawers, Home Depot) which tend to use 1/4" to 1/2" veneer plywood sheets to cover your existing cabinetry. In other words, we took Jay's word and went ahead with templating on existing cabinetry and didn't think that we needed to adjust for the 3/4" boards that American Cabinet Refacing would be adding onto our existing cabinetry. BAD DECISION and LESSON LEARNED. Had we completed refacing of cabinets first, then template Cambria Quartz, (bought through Kitchen Master, Carmel) we would have been good to go, but we didn't. We, the homeowners trusted that Jay Powell and Kitchen Master, Carmel communicated (WHICH THEY DID NOT). Both ASSUMED the other company knew what each was doing. Neither Kitchen Master of Carmel, Nate Woods (Designer and salesmen) or Jay Powell or his wife, Kate bothered to communicate with each other regarding this project. It was assumed that the customer (homeowner) knows how its done. (As a customer I don't know, I am relying on you the sales folks or owners to tell me the proper way it should be done. As we have learned, DO YOUR HOMEWORK and ask LOTS of questions and get it in WRITING and SIGNED by whom. Yes, its a paper trail, document everything. THIS will make things a lot easier when or if your project runs in amuck. PROBLEM #3: JAY POWELL, owner or American Cabinet Refacing never shows up on a project site. [His staff will even verify this statement, Jay dow not show up on a project site] Though his staff doesn't believe his claims of being too busy, he does not what to take the responsibility. He claims he's too busy to come to a homeowner's site if there is a problem. He takes no blame nor does he respond to things in a timely manner. PROBLEM #4: Upon completion of this kitchen remodeling, we learned that one of the existing tray roll outs would not come out. It scrapped the new cabinet doors because the installer, Daryl didn't measure when he put the door in to check to see if the drawer would hit the new cabinet door or not. In this regards, it was sloppy workmanship and I was nearby, why did you not bother to ask? This is an UNRESOLVED ISSUE as it has been brought to the attention of JAY POWELL, but he has failed to send anyone to come see what and take care of the problem. NOW I have one less drawer to store items off my counter tops. The was issue was brought to JAY POWELL's attention on February 26, 2017 via email and pictures 3 days after the guys last left. Another email was sent to: on March 9th regarding the cabinet doors and pull out tray. NO RESPONSE. Another email with more pictures was sent to the same address on March 13th with STILL NO RESPONSE as of March 29, 2017. Thus the reason I am giving American Cabinet Refacing the grade of F for responsiveness. Overall workmanship and quality is A but their professionalism- as a husband and wife team is C, should be C-. (It would have been courteous to let customers that are pending on your schedule know that you had a family emergency and you needed to reschedule). But Kate and Jay you FAILED to let us know. Instead you left us expecting you on the wrong date. You never showed up to see the problem, I even called you asking you politely to come see and tell us how to work or resolve the problem. BUT YOUR ANSWER was "I'm too busy to come." DO YOU NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for anything. IF SO, I most certainly will be telling my friends and family to go to your competitors and give them a list of reasons why you, JAY and Kate Powell of American Cabinet Refacing are not to be trusted.

    Any Color You Like
These guys are excellent. Mark gave me a general ballpark quote and expectations over the phone before coming by for a consultation. Everything went pretty quickly and the cabinets literally look brand new. A neighbor saw them last night and couldn't believe they were painted as opposed to new cabinetry.

    Faerber's Bee Window Inc
They did a good job. There were some problems, they had ordered the wrong size doors, and so they had to replace those doors. They were great about it, and they were very good working with us. Some of it is chipping off, and we called them back, and made another piece with the door that they left behind, but they didn't get back to us for the molding.

    All Phase Group Inc
I have written alot of reviews, but this is the hardest of all, because the Cuppy's far exceeded my already high expectations! If you want a firm who will walk you through design ideas, shopping, and finish ideas- then execute flawlessly, THIS is the firm for you. Kathy is a dynamo, she is your go-between who charmingly keeps your subs on track. Problems will surface, but it is how they are handled that will set the front of the pack apart from the rest. All Phase WILL complete your job precisely to your liking. We cannot say enough about the dave and his guys too. Professional to the max, always left our home better than they found it. We would not hesitate to hire All Phase again!

    Finish Alternatives
Bob was extremely professional, straight forward, and helpful throughout the entire process. We had white thermofoil cabinetry that was beginning to peel and had been told by all retailers that we basically had to completely replace our cabinets. Surprisingly we were able to peel the thermofoil completely off the doors and drawers in nearly full sheets. Bob came out and informed us that the underlying board was MDF, and ideal for painted cabinetry.

After providing us with a quote, Bob graciously painted a sample door to ensure we were comfortable with the work he was going to complete. This turned out to be very important for us as we were initially planning to just have Bob paint the doors and drawers. As you know it is virtually impossible to match paint identically, and after seeing the faint difference in certain lights we decided to have Bob paint the boxes as well.

The blank panels and crown molding were suggestions from Bob that have really made a huge difference in transforming our kitchen. He did not push his services and was also willing to work within our budget which was very appreciated.

Bob takes a great deal of pride in his work and has a wealth of experience in this arena. We will definitely be looking to work with Bob in the future for our painting/cabinetry needs.

He was really nice and made many helpful suggestions including for refacing our cabinets.  We ultimately decided not to use this service.  He was very specific about how much time this project would take. In the future I know I would use this company.

They did a beautiful job. It only took them 2 or 3 days to do all the work. We would definitely use them again.
