Oh my gosh I can't speak highly enough of Jim and his team! I gave him a laundry list of things that needed repair from an inspection report on my house and he completed everything quickly and with great attention to detail and I wouldn't even have known he was around the house at all.   Jim is a master at what he does.  I'm delighted that we were able to get him and will most definitely use him again!

Jim was a consummate professional. He had done some tuck repair work on a chimney at a house we owned and rented. We asked him to come look at the lining that another contractor had installed. After identifying immediately that the lining was not up to code and was actually making our updraft problem worse (we had been getting smoke in the house). He proposed a circulation system for the top of the chimney that was prohibitively expensive, so we decided to wait on that. However, Jim also identified the cause of our other issue, water leakage around the chimney. He showed us exactly where the leaks were percolating through the chimney.
He proposed the installation of a chimney moisture system that would redirect the water away from the masonry and allow it to evaporate. He quoted us a reasonable rate and we agreed on a date a few weeks later.
Chimney Sweeps really demonstrated their professionalism with the repair and installation. They showed up immediately on time (this was in June), and took the utmost care to ensure that the work was complete with a quality crew. Jim was kind enough to walk us through the process when we showed up to the house in the middle of the day to see the progress. He explained how they had taken some of the best brick pieces from the back of the chimney and moved them to the visible areas to keep the color and appearance consistent as best as they could.
By the end of the day they had almost completely finished the process. The mortar set overnight, and by the middle of the next day, the chimney seal was complete. Jim put a cap on one of the chimney outlets, and blocked the other with a temporary seal that would keep water out but would let us install the circulation draft system if we decided to do so.
After the installation, we had several strong storms and saw absolutely no moisture in the house where there was often water previously. The chimney bricks were bone dry inside the house. We asked Jim to come back in October and put a cap on the open chimney so we could have fires this winter. Jim's crew showed up within the next four days and put the cap on expertly.
I have nothing but praise for Chimney Sweeps.

Working with the Gicks (Bob & Ryan) was a pleasure. They were very responsible with our project and always were very open to make changes on the fly.  There was always one of them around and returned the calls and texts messages almost immediately.  The quality of the work was really good. Many visitors have expressed that it is hard to tell what was added/changed within the house.  I would recommend them and/or hire them in the future.

Dave Eisele is the owner. He is terrific. His son works with him, and their crew is professional, clean, prompt, and careful. The level of communication was terrific (phone calls, samples dropped off, picked up). I have already recommended them to friends. Quality Masonry recommended to me by a brick distributor. I would definitely use them again.

Fast and friendly, Dave took care of it all including recommending a top roofer to flash the new chimney. Work was done very quickly, no need for touch-ups. Did not need up-front money for materials and started the project on verbal authorization. Job completed ahead of schedule - great to work with, very polite and professional, highly recommended.

I really enjoyed working with both of them. It is wonderful to deal with professionals who don't try to and quot;selland quot; you more but just try to help you to great care of your home. I also thought they did a good job of explaining my options in terms of cost and tradeoffs.

Dave came out for a estimate and recommended that I would be better off to install a limestone cap instead of the current mortar cap. Since I had this job done once before I agreed to that and am very happy with the looks of it. I am hoping that this is the last time I have to worry about the cap. Dave and his crew were very courteous and they did a excellent job of cleaning up.

Jim Pritchett (owner) and his Associate, Ronnie, came on time, inspected chimney and gave me a written estimate that day. I was impressed by their knowledge, professionalism, and the fact they "talked TO me" as opposed to "DOWN at me", explaining what needed to be done, cost, and even showed me pictures of a similar completed project. On both days of work, they arrived on time, worked hard under extreme weather conditions of full sun and 95 degree temperatures. My roof was protected by carpet-like runners placed on areas on which they would be walking and working. Layers of brick were removed, forms installed, concrete mixed and poured efficiently and professionally. After work the first day, I was totally amazed that not one scrap of concrete, brick or even a drop of water from mixing the concrete was to be found anywhere.Ron and Jim returned a few days later (after concrete set) to remove forms and install chimney cover. These men again worked hard and steady in hot sunny conditions and completed the job to my total satisfaction. Improvement in the outside appearance of chimney was amazing. I would, without hesitation, recommend this company to anyone needing services on their chimney or fireplace and I would personally use Certified Sweeps again.

Quality Masonry arrived promptly to provide a quote. Their price was less than we expected. We agreed on a date and time to perform the work. They were here on time on the date we discussed. There were a few places where the concrete was crumbling and needed to be removed and replaced. They repaired and replaced all of those places. In addition, they went around entire house and filled in between each block. Our foundation looked like new when they were done. Furthermore, they were very efficient.

We are very happy with all work. Contractor arrived when expected, maintained a clean work site, and explained all that was happening. Will most definitely call this individual first when any work needed.
