    Remodeling Professionals Of Indiana LLC
Jeff was great! The quality of work was fabulous and he was a very nice guy. The job ran into a few problems and ended up running a few days longer than he anticipated but he never complained once. We were very pleased with the finished product and will absolutely call Jeff first the next time we have a remodeling project to be done.

Steel City Home Improvement Co Inc
All of the Steel City employees were a pleasure to work with. They were very professional and really cared about the quality of work they delivered. We ran into a couple of unexpected complications which they faced with care and courtesy. I will ask them back anytime I have future projects that need their services.

    CertaPro Painters of Northwest Indiana
I would give CertaPro Painters an enthusiastic thumbs up. They were clear and fair in discussing the various costs of the project, and they were willing to work with me to stay within my budget. Most importantly, I found Raphael and his team of painters to be professional, efficient, and good communicators. This company cares about service and earning repeat business.

    Handyman Pros
Each repair was done on time and very efficiently. No mess was left behind. My only complaint was that they did not paint or stain the wooden part of the railing. Turns out we didn't really talk about it before the work so the workman didn't know to finish it.

    Trim-A-Seal Of Indiana Inc
The doors and the shutters are mismatched in color. Yes, I chose the color from "chips". Could not the salesperson tell me that they would clash and I was making a wrong choice? I have since hired another contractor to paint shutters color of doors so everything will match. To say I am perturbed is an understatement. The sales person of Trim a seal got his sale, even though it was mismatched shutters and doors, but the customer (me) did not get what I wanted. I have to undo what I just bought and pay out another $10000 to have my shutters and doors match. Something is not right with this picture.

    HandyPro of Northwest Indiana
The soffit is 3 feet wide around most of the house. A few pieces had fallen or were falling off and it was bulging down (sagging in the middle) in a few more places. I was looking for more than just replacing the fallen-off parts. After some discussion and investigation, Ryan, the carpenter, offered to install a furring strip for support all around the house.
Ryan was just great. He was able to wash reuse much of the existing soffit. He alerted me to the anomalies that were revealed when he removed the existing soffit. He repaired vents and screened over the holes that had been sloppily left unscreened. The furring strip was not a constant height, he had to custom fit it.
The plastic fence had been hit by a car. The exact pieces were not available, but Ryan did some kind of magic with plastic lumber and you can't tell the difference. The ceiling plaster is absolutely fine.
(NOTE: I think this review is being filed under "handyman" but I would definitely call it carpentry.)

Martens & Son Carpenter Contractors LLC

As mentioned above, we were not able to afford to hire Martens and Sons due to the high cost.  The above total estimate was $2,900.  It turned out that we were fortunate to hire several people to do the same work at a cost of around $1,200.  Thus Martens and Sons' estimate was about 240% higher than what we eventually paid out.  If the price had been more reasonable, we would have hired Martens and Sons.

    Kucera Construction
I've never been disappointed and PK has done excellent work. I will be using him in the future for a number of projects I have planned including a Kitchen remodel and redoing my bathrooms. Aside from the excellent work he has done for us, we have also referred him out and I have heard nothing but good things from the friends and clients he has worked with. Always a bonus.

    Niemann Construction
Marcus is a hard worker. He came when he said he would and stayed until the job was finished. He is meticulous with his woodworking skills and cleans up when he is finished. I will use him again.

    AR Construction
Overall I am very pleased with the work performed. AR Construction definitely went above and beyond what was expected. The prices were lower than all other estimates and I feel like we got a lot more for the money!
