I scheduled them to come out and give me an estimate to renovate our master bath. We discussed what I wanted done, potential issues, etc. The couple (who's names I have now forgotten) were pleasant and the husband seemed knowledgable. I had asked for two quotes, one for all items on the list and one omitting redoing the shower. They said I'd hear from them early the next week with an estimate...and that was the end of it. I never heard another word from them. Also, before I called them directly, I had submitted an email from their website and heard nothing, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. They may do great work, but professionalism and responsiveness are just too important and in that regard, they are lacking. Enough time has passed that even if there had been a good reason like a family emergency or something, I should have heard from them.

Arrived on time. Was professional. First trip missed a lot of the grout near walls and other flooring. Called and second trip was scheduled for my earliest availability. Again, on time and professional. Service completed. First time we have had grout cleaned and it didn't come out like new, but much better than I had expected it would!

Everything went well.  All work was explained and bid before starting work.  He worked with me on the selection of materials and price range.  He went the extra effort to fix all large as well as small repairs.  It was sad to have to redo so much when it had just been done but Brandon completed all the repairs to make it as nice as before.  He did any repair I asked with good quality and a fair price.

The jobs went very well. The bathroom remodel is excellent. Henry applied new drywall, a new ceiling, new fan and light, a new sink, a new toilet, new bathtub fixtures, and new bathtub surround tiling.

Jim and his staff were very professional and just nice people.  They had a difficult job due to the original floor being installed improperly, but did a great job of replacing it with a beautiful tile floor.

After  three weeks with no contact I called the company to inquire about my tile.  They told me the tile was damaged in shipping
and would be sent back for new tile.  They could no explain why they did not contact me and kept me waiting.  One week later we received the tile.  We completed our job only to realize that we had twice as much tile as needed.  When we went to return the unopened, unused tile and they charged us a 30% restocking fee, EVEN THOUGH THEY DETERMINED the amount of tile we would need.  That was pretty much the last straw. We will not use them again for our remaining projects.

Bought a new home five years ago.  Had a problem with grout cracking and tiles coming unglued.  The first year they came and redid

eleven tiles.  Made a huge mess.  My entire house had grout and glue dust over everything.

Then after a year they started to come unglued, grout started cracking.  I asked for an appt. to see what could be done with the tile to

fix it. Never asked for anything free, we just wanted our floor fixed. We didn't know if we should get rid of the tile or have it all taken up

and laid back down.  What was the cause?  Bad glue, bad grout, bad tile?  We had an outstanding builder and yes there was a sub

The woman that came to see the floor said she would ask her husband about the floor, and never got back to us.  I am assuming she was an owner.

Now it is five years later and the entire floor is popping up.  I am so disappointed in their work and their business.

    I would not recommend.

I was extremely pleased with the professionalism and quality of work provided by Kus Flooring. The estimate was the most detailed estimate that I had received (and I got 3 different estimates before starting this remodel) and they took time to explain everything to me. I was guided through the remodel process every step of the way. My whole main level of my house was remodeled by Kus Flooring within 2 weeks. They removed a half wall between the dining area of my kitchen and my living room, which really opened the space up. They made the beat up, dingy wood floors look like brand new in my bedrooms, hallway and living room. They removed 3 layers of old flooring from my kitchen to level out the new porcelain tile with my wood floor. They replaced the trim/baseboard throughout the house and re-painted all of my doors, which really put the finishing touches on their work product. They pay great attention to detail and make sure everything is covered. I was amazed at how they modernized my home in such a short period of time. I would recommend Kus Flooring to anyone for remodel/flooring needs.

I've never been disappointed and PK has done excellent work. I will be using him in the future for a number of projects I have planned including a Kitchen remodel and redoing my bathrooms. Aside from the excellent work he has done for us, we have also referred him out and I have heard nothing but good things from the friends and clients he has worked with. Always a bonus.

Picking out/ordering carpet:  All went well.  Helpful in explaining options and helping me to decide what kind of carpet.  Nice showroom.
Waiting for carpet to be installed: They estimated 2-3 weeks for carpet to come in from factory; arrived at showroom within that time. They were patient as they had to wait a couple of weeks after the carpet came in for me to get home from vacation before they could install the carpet.  Willing to wait on me - no problems. But not great at keeping me informed about when carpet arrived and when it could be installed. I had to call them 2-3 times instead of them calling me.
Installation: Installers were on time, efficient and polite. Since my old carpet had no pad but the new carpet did, closet doors too tall to fit over new carpet.  Installers pointed this out me after installation and said we'd need to have someone else cut the doors to fit or cut length of carpet out under closet doors and install tracks.  After talking these options over with my husband, we decided to ask Fashion Flooring if they could be the ones to do either of these options.  They said that they could not but they gave me the names/numbers of a couple of carpenters who could.  This seemed reasonable to me, but again, I had to be the one to keep calling and leaving messages to resolve the situation.
Look of the job: Terrific!  I love the color and feel of the carpet, nice padding underneath, neatly installed.  The rooms look great.
So I give them an overall "B".  Would be an "A" except for the fact that they were very long in contacting me about issues (I wondered... Do they want my business?), and the fact that the carpeting/installation of 2 bedrooms (approx. 12 x 12 each, plus closets carpeted) seemed high to me.  I will shop around for a better deal next time.
