  • I ordered the extra firm mattress due to some back problems I was having as a result of a car accident. It was supposed to have a 20-year guarantee. The sales person also told me that it would include a frame, but that didn't show up on the receipt. They ended up just putting the box springs and mattress on my old frame. The box springs are also slightly larger than my mattress. About one week after the bed was delivered and I started using it, I noticed a slight dip in the mattress on my side of the bed. It got worse during the night as I laid on the mattress. My doctor even said that something needed to be done about it. Later, I noticed a huge lump in the middle of the mattress that splits the mattress in half. I contacted the actual store in Indy and asked to talk to the manager, but they gave me the assistant manager instead. He wasn't exactly rude, but he did blow me off. He said that this happens sometimes when thousands of mattresses are made. He referred to me as "girl" and was kind of disrespectful. I was considering buying more furniture from them, and would have appreciated more respect. I called the number that they gave me, but they said that they would have to make an appointment for someone to come check out the mattress. I agreed and set up the appointment for July 2. Instead of assuring me that they would replace the mattress, they said that they would have to make a decision after inspecting it. After the "inspector" came, acknowledged the mattress was defective, the company now says that the dip in the mattress is only 1 inch and must be at least 1 1/2 inches. They don't even mention the lump running through the middle (all though the inspector did say there was a ridge). They refuse to replace the defective merchandise. I am now stuck with defective merchandise.
