Circle City Lock & Key Locksmith
They came out right away and advised us to write the manufacturer, as the latches were covered under warranty and would be replaced immediately by the manufacturer. That's what we did, and that's exactly what happened. It was fabulous advice, and great service.

    Easy Locksmith
Stood up. No call, no show. I called when he was 15 minutes late; he said he was wrapping up another customer's paperwork; gave me an ETA of 30 minutes. He never showed up. I tried calling him several more times, but only got the recording. Texted him twice - no response. $65 is his estimate of my cost the one time I did talk to him, the cost for a basic service call.

Alex showed up promptly on time. He installed both deadbolts very nicely, and we had a fun conversation in the meanwhile. He was very professional, making sure to vacuum up all the bits of wood that were left on the floor as a result of drilling. Also, he insisted that I call him if I have any issues. I decided a few days later that I wanted one door to open a little easier (it seemed too tight around the new deadbolt). He promptly scheduled a new visit and came and chipped away some of the excess wood that remained. To my surprise, he did not charge me at all for the second visit! I HIGHLY recommend him and, without a doubt, would ask for his services the next time that I need a locksmith.

Closed on newly purchased home at noon today.  Called Alex at 2:30 p.m. and explained that I would like the locks changed on the home at his earliest convenience.  He said he could be here in 1/2 hour and in fact showed up by 3:00 p.m.  Work was completed quickly and professionally.  Excellent customer service!

This guy was awesome and very professional. It was for my son's car and he needed it for an out of town job. I can't say enough good things about the price, the quickness and the attention to detail from this guy. Just outstanding.

My 2 year-old locked a basement door in our house that we never had a key for.  Alex was at our house within an hour of calling him, and he promptly unlocked the door and created two keys.  It was $50 for the service call, and only $10 extra to make the keys.  He was polite and quick--great experience!

Alex was very responsive from the first inquiry to the completion of the job.  He arrived on time, was very professional and patient in explaining options and the costs of those different options.  When I couldn't locate a key he was very understanding and once I found the key, he came back the next evening to complete the job.  He even has this slick iPhone based payment system, which allows him to accept any credit card and I got a receipt emailed to me instantaneously.  A small business that makes payment by credit card easy and on the spot?!  Well done.  It was nice to see the owner of the business was the same person who came to do the work.  I would use him again for sure.

Locksmith was contacted on Memorial Day weekend - Saturday - after I accidentally locked the only set of keys I own in my car.  The locksmith met me at my car within 30 minutes of my call, and very quickly and efficiently got my car door open with no damage.  And then, while I was expecting a fee of $100 or more, his charge was approximately $40.  I can't tell you how happy and relieved I was.  It was a pleasure to work with him.

I called Mr. Thomas a week earlier to request a quote. He said he doesn't give quotes over the phone as he prefers to quote based on the actual complexity of the job, rather than just giving a standard flat quote. This made sense to me, and I appreciated that. He also said that he doesn't charge for a service call, and that he works with his customers so that they
I called him again on the afternoon of October 1, 2012 and requested that he rekey my new home. He came out quickly, and was prompt. He spent a fair amount of time conversing with me and my family. He kept stating that it wasn't going to take long at all, and that it would be a simple job, due to the type of locks on the house. When I would ask how much it would be, he said it wouldn't be much at all, but did not give an exact amount. This happened each time I asked how much it would cost.
He went out to his vehicle, and came back to the front door. He said he wanted to show me something, and the next thing I know, my front door (handle and deadbolt) have both been rekeyed. He was able to do the same thing with the door into the house from the garage. Because I was unable to locate a key to the backdoor, he had to take that lock apart in order to rekey it, which took longer and was more complicated.
In all, Mr. Thomas was at my home for more than 2.5 hours, and charged me $255.50 for the work. The breakdown was $90 for the service call, and $30 for each lock that was rekeyed, plus tax. When I questioned the price he charged, and told him that he was charging almost double compared to the other companies I had contacted, he really didn't have much to say.
I admit, I am at fault for not pressing further for an exact amount. Overall, the experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I won't be using Mr. Thomas again for any locksmithing needs I may have. I now know that I could have replaced all five locks completely for less than what he charged.

I spent less than $50 on that work.  They are very flexible with their timings to come and do the work.  They are easy to work with.  They are fairly priced and I have had a good experience with them.
