  • The dryer quit. We paid them $200+ up front to replace the motherboard. They put it in within a week. The dryer started making weird noises and then popped. The repair men said the wire harness was out. We paid to have that replaced. Now they say the part is on back order and have been not refunded since 07/13/14.

  • Jerry's Appliance Tech is courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable and arrived to inspect our defective fridge one day following our call for help. The tech immediately determined the cause of the fridge failure and subsequently left our home in order to send for the defective part. We anticipated waiting a couple of days before the tech returned to repair our fridge - based upon a similar repair done to this fridge a few months ago.With more than a week passing with complete silence from Jerry's regarding return of the tech, we called Jerry's Appliance Repair on day 8 to get some answers. At that juncture, the representative on the phone indicated he would check to determine our status. Our status was that our missing fridge part might arrive that day and that we might have the tech return to our home the next day. Nothing was definite.The next day, again without hearing a word from Jerry's Appliance Repair regarding the arrival of the missing part or the scheduling of the tech, we called once more. We were told the part had arrived and that the tech would come to our house sometime between the hours of 8AM and 5PM. Nothing specific. To our surprise, the tech called that same morning and 10 days following the tech's first visit, the necessary repairs were made to our fridge.We are disappointed that Jerry's Appliance Repair did not treat our perishable food situation with more urgency. We are disappointed that they never once called us to let us know the state of our repair schedule. Had I not called them twice, would we have our repairs yet today? We are disappointed that this repair took so long given the fact that the defective part could have been ordered via an "overnight" basis and treated with more urgency on the part of Jerry's Appliance Repair Service.

  • Overall, we were pleased with Jerry's Appliance Repair process from start to finish. We're happy to know Jerry's Appliance Repair is there to serve us. Although Jerry's is not the only local repair business which repairs Samsung refrigerators, Jerry's Appliance Repair is the only company willing to come to our home in Solsberry and do the work, aside from Sears, who now conducts repair service from non-local outsourcing. This exclusion of service includes all other appliance repair services listed on Angie's List who, when called, grumble about not being able to acquire Samsung repair parts and warn us that we will pay more for a service call..
