He was very quick getting me a reasonable estimate and, even though it wasn't the cheapest, the crew's professionalism and the quality of their work told me I made the right choice. AMurphy's Window & SunroomsThe house my wife and I purchased is nice, but came with an interesting problem. We live, not on a corner, but a curve. We have no backyard, but a sizeable side yard. However, we had no way to access that side yard, other than leaving out the front door and walking thru the grass. Enter Murphy's Windows & Sunrooms. We had an idea of removing a double window (which is in our dining room), the rest of the brick wall and installing a sliding patio door. After a 10 minute conversation with James Murphy, we set up a meeting. He came over, surveyed the layout, and quickly decided "Yeah, we can do this".. A few weeks later, James and his team of carpenters, concrete & masonry professionals delivered a result that even we couldn't believe. A 10x12 concrete slab patio (sloped perfectly), a beautiful sliding glass door (with internal blinds), and all the trimmings inside and out. Awesome job, and any window job I might need done on this home or any in the future, will be done by Murphy's Windows & Sunrooms. Michael Cole.- Michael C.

APremier Window Systems IncThey were awesome to work with! It’s a family-owned business. They were very helpful and knowledgeable; what they said about the windows was true. They were very reputable, arrived on time, and did a great job with the installation. They got the job done in a timely manner. They were willing to work with us and their price was decent, actually the lowest that we received out of several other companies. We even purchased a gift for our kids; they helped us pick out the right door for them. It was a good experience overall; they really went above and beyond and I would highly recommend them! The windows also came with the lifetime warranty; we had a problem with one of the windows. They sent out a technician quickly to replace the window with no questions or problems.- Paula S.

AHome Pro of Valparaiso IncDuring the quotation process (we had 4 companies give us bids) Home Pro was the only one that actually followed up with what they said they would do. None of the others even came close to following up. It took a while for them to get started (permits with Town of Schererville, peak sunroom season, etc). Work took a bit longer than expected, but results were well worth the wait. From the framers to the finishing carpenter, quality of work was excellent. I was very clear that I did not want a "box attached to the existing house" but wanted something that looked like it was part of the original house. The siding matched exactly - as did the roof. The tie in to the existing roof was excellent (lots of complicated gables). The room is very well insulated - walls, floor, roof) and is actually warmer than the rest of the house. Other than rainy days, they were working on the room continuously. All of the products used (windows, hardware, door, wood trim, etc.) were high quality. There was no scrimping on quality of products. The quality of the finished product more than exceeded our expectations. Everyone that has seen the sunroom compliments us on it. Would definitely recomment Home Pro of Valpo.- Barbara K.

ARaul Rivera did an excellent job on the installation! After searching for two months for someone to do the work, Raul was available with no problem and was very cost friendly! He arrived on time everyday at the time stated and worked non stop while here. The project actually would have taken two days to complete, but some extra parts had to be ordered to finish. If you are looking for some who is very reasonable and who does great work, call Raul Rivera! He will be back again to finish some of our other projects!
