Terrible. First visit was on 9/18/19 when raising and first caulking was done. Caulk was bad and it had large air bubbles in some areas and the components started separating in other areas. Second visit on 9/21 when some sections of caulk were cut out. They were supposed to return on Tuesday 9/24 to re-caulk but did not and did not let me know until 11:20 a.m. even though company was aware that I was having a cardiac procedure the following week and had a very tight schedule telling me they couldn't re-caulk on Tuesday because it had rained on Sunday. I was told the reason for the late notification was that the company person who notified me was out of state due to a medical emergency with her mother. The company person also told me that her mother was probably worse off than me because her mother not only had heart issues but also chronic fatigue syndrome and needed emergency dental work. More bad areas developed with the caulk and on 10/10 another crew was sent to re-caulk. They cut out more and added caulk. They were unable to eliminate a trip hazard where a section of the sidewalk was not raised level with another section because they did not have a grinder with them. They came back today to re-caulk again due to more large air bubbles and instead of just leveling the sidewalk sections they ground two holes in them so there are now tripping hazards from the other directions. I have sent pictures to the company including the two holes ground out and tried to call twice today and have received not response. I do not recommend this company.

The job went very well. Jeff Lacey was a great contractor to work with. He was always willing to listen to what we wanted the project to end up being and did everything in his power to make it happen. We had a lot of extras we put on Jeff after the job started and he was more than happy and capable of taking on the extra even when it was not something he had previous experience with. We had him install a full theater entertainment center and a rock climbing wall in the kids play room, both extras we did not plan on doing until we saw how good of a worker Jeff was. We plan to use Jeff again in a couple of years when we remodel our kitchen.

    AMERICAN CONCRETE RAISING
Terrible experience. Driveway was not mudjacked to make driveway flush at cracks, two areas that were mudjacked are not flush all the way along the cracks, there are now gaps between my foundation and the mudjacked areas in the front back of the house, and holes and cracks not sealed as the crew walked off the job without finishing. Also a sidewalk in the back of my house that was not listed in the contract was mudjacked without my consent and damage was done in the back area of my house. There was a concrete pad and a sidewalk next to an area of cement blocks used as pavers. Part of that area was damaged at my foundation and due to the mudjacking of the pad and sidewalk mudjacking in the back make the sidewalk angle done and now the cement block area completely floods up to the foundation and water is running down the foundation due to the damage done, sand is washing out between the blocks, the area never completely dries and moss is growing between the blocks. The water runs down the angled sidewalk area like a river and pools at the end of the sidewalk and then backs up onto the cement black area. The company claims they did nothing wrong even though the mudjacking traps water on the block area and that nothing would be done to change the water flow. He told me the problem is my downspouts even though they are not in the are of the flooding. When I said I disagreed Jon started yelling at me and told his crew to pack up and leave. When I asked for insurance information today after being told nothing was done wrong even though he previously admitted to some damage Jon yelled at me and told to call an attorney. I have not received a response to my email request for this information either. I first reported these problems on 5/18th after the first part of the job was done on 5/17 and the 31st was the first day anyone come to see what problems existed were. . Damage was not repaired, driveway was not fully mudjacked, and holes they made and cracks also were not sealed due to crew walking off job without finishing. The way things are now I am worse off than before and in danger of damage to a foundation I paid $11,000 to repair and water in my basement. I am shocked due to the good recommendation I received from someone I trust. Since they do not accept payment before job completed I have not yet paid anything.

The foundation was straightened. However during the process the crew hit a gas line with a pipe which they then pulled back out into the house. They went outside and failed to tell me what happened. When the house began to fill with gas and I smelled it I found them outside and asked if anything happened. They said they hit the gas line. I asked if they called utility company and was told no, that they had called their office. I called the utility company myself and managed to get my cats and my purse and get out of the house. Only my way out I shut off the furnace. By the time utility company and fire department arrived the gas level in my house was at explosion level. If I had not turned off the furnace the house probably would have exploded when furnace kicked on. I had to spend hours out of the house. Fortunately neighbors were home and allowed the cats and me to stay at their house as it was cold out and I did not have time to dress for the weather. John, the technician who torqued the rods was a pleasure and very professional but the crew and the office were not and they put my life and house at risk and showed no empathy at all. Therefore I can not recommend this company.

We originally contacted Tom to rip out and pour a new concrete patio in our backyard late summer 2014.  We got an estimate and Tom told us that his schedule was filling up but he would do his best to get our patio done as long as Mother Nature cooperated. Well....she didn't!   We had a lot of rain last Fall so that delayed the concrete jobs in front of ours.  Tom explained this could happen and let's be honest....we cannot control the weather!  Tom told us that he also does remodeling work during the winter months.  We asked Tom to provide a quote for our basement.  We had a good idea of what we wanted and Tom had no problem understanding our "vision".  His proposal was good and we signed the contract.   Tom and Zack showed up the first day and started tearing out the basement.  They took it down to the studs and cinderblock walls.  When they removed the drop-in ceiling it was discovered that the electrical had to be redone as the prior owner or builder did not have it up to code.  Our new shower is ceramic and we went with a multi-function shower system.   The ceramic had to be cut around each of the 7 shower heads/handles/sprayers.  It was alot of work but we never heard a complaint.  Mid-job we added a tankless water heater for this bathroom.  Tom and Zack were able to run a new gas line and install with no issues.  Our previous bathroom did not have an exhaust fan so our  plan was to to add one.  Our thinking was "bigger the better".  The fan was delivered  and it was too big to install in the ceiling.   Tom jumped on the phone with the manufacturer to see if we could install the fan in the wall.  Luckily they were able to figure out a way to get it installed in the wall.   They also had to run a vent to the outside.  As the bathroom was coming together, I noticed that our old bathroom window looked bad.  I asked if it was too late to get a new one.   Tom said "no" and picked it up the next day.  The new bathroom fixtures and cabinets were added with ease (at least they made it seem easy!).  We added new interior doors including 4 pocket doors.  We added drywall to the laundry room, canned lighting, ceramic flooring throughout and new wood trim.  They even painted!   In the midst of our construction, our main water heater went out.  Tom and Zack stopped what they were working on and replaced that too!   They also added lighting to our garage and ran a separate line for an electrical outlet on the outside of our garage.   We will have them back next Winter to finish the other half of our basement.
Tom and Zack are professional and EXTREMELY knowledgeable.  Every night they cleaned up the work area before they left.   Tom and Zack came in to our home as contractors but left as friends.   Needless to say, we would recommend them to our family members and friends.
We are on their schedule for our concrete patio project this Spring.   They will also be replacing some of the wood on our screened-in deck.   They will be replacing the screens as well.    I will do another review once this project is complete.

    Kaizen Builders Inc
We originally contacted Kaizen to give us an estimate to remodel our family room and put in a third bathroom. There was no existing bathroom, just minimal roughed in plumbing. We had gotten several estimates from other contractors, but made the decision to go with Kaizen for a few different reasons. Talking with David, we shared with him our wish to get the entire downstairs remodeled, but didn't think it was feasible. He  came up with a design plan that matched our desires perfectly. His estimate was fair and we felt it was the best value. He showed us pictures of previous jobs and we were impressed with what we saw. The remodel took longer than originally contracted for because of the changes and additional work that we asked him to do. Also, during the remodel we discovered damage to the roof and had them tear off the old roof and put a new one up. At the time they also uncovered a broken roof truss and repaired it.During the remodel the area of work was always clean and neat when they left for the day. David's employees, Aaron and Dave were both professional and courteous. We could not be happier with the way that the basement turned out! We have had many compliments about the new look and are enjoying being in the space, daily. We have several other projects that will need to get done in the near future and we will definitely be calling Kaizen back!

The contractor, Tom Marks, promised a great job and to do what I asked; but he lied over an over and never fulfilled his promises once he got his check.  I wish there was a way to send him to prison for his dishonesty.

Concrete Crawlspaces & Basement Waterproofing Corp
From start to finish the experience was great. It started with a call from a sales rep., who in turn sent me an estimator, and then the work crew. All the people involved were polite, respectful, and courteous. The work force consisted of about 10-12  workers who really earned their pay considering the tempature outside and the enviorment inside. They were able to complete the job in about 10 hrs., which I thought was impossible, they protected my home as they were bringing material in, and out of my family room, and they cleaned up everything, and anything they had brought with them.
The work wasn't cheap(cost wise), but for everything these folks from concrete crawlspaces provided I know it was a fair price. I would highly recomend this corp. to anyone who has crawlspace problems, moisture in their basement problems, or anything similar.

They came out and did a very good job on the estimate for us. The technician that came out was very nice and came out right on the scheduled time and he provided a lot of really good information to us.
