Sewer Cleaning reviews in Plainfield

Called R&S on Sunday afternoon and they came out that evening at no extra charge. the technician (Jimmy) had been here a few years before and remembered how the drain was set up. His approach to cabling the line was very thorough. He even went back over a couple of areas to make sure all the obstructions were removed. He explained causes of backups. Very friendly, polite, and professional.

Our service technician's name was Khuma. ?He was very courteous, proficient and professional. ?Water was not draining due to a blockage (most likely tree roots) in the main sewer drain line. ?I was very impressed that I called after 5:00 and still had the problem resolved that evening for no additional charge. ?Our technician was very thorough and we would definitely call Roto Rooter again. Even though Roto Rooter are specialists at slow drainage issues, their prices were very comparable to general plumbing companies.

We used the online tool to schedule B&W when our toilets started backing up.  Our tech checked the sewer line (we have a very large and old maple in the front yard that sometimes gets aggressive in the spring) and found it to be in good shape for its age and did not think it was the problem.  Given the large amount of rain and the recent shedding of the tree of it's seeds, he felt it might have been a clog in our vent pipe and my husband decided he would check that out himself.
Toilet flushed fine until two days later after excessive rain.  A trip to the roof to try flushing the vents found that they weren't the problem.  We rang B&W again and the same guy stopped out and wondered what had happened.  He clearly remembered us and the situation.  He turned the camera scope back the other way toward the house and found the problem.  It was done in a jiffy and we are now without problems.

I explained I just wanted the minimum done to get the plumbing working again (meaning a repair, not a replacement). I am a single mom with 3 kids; I was laid off from my job in February and have just started working again recently and have not had a chance to put any money into savings yet, so I couldn't afford the $2500.00 up front. I asked if there was a way to make payment arrangements and the tech said he'd talk to the owners and would try to work something out. He left and I didn't hear anything back until the next afternoon when I texted his cell phone to ask if he had talked to the owners, and he said not yet. This went on for a week, and finally he responded with "Call the main office and ask." I called and was told they do not do payment arrangements. I am fine with that if that is their policy, but why couldn't the tech just tell me that the same day he came to the house? I started calling around to other plumbers, and they had the same no-payments policy, but they told me this up-front right away. Someone suggested I hire an excavator separately to dig the hole, and then have a licensed plumber do the repair, as I could save money that way. It took me 2 weeks to save up enough money to pay someone for the excavation. I had the hole dug, and guess what? NOTHING WAS BROKEN. I called Service Plus back, and asked them if they could please check their notes and come out to mark exactly where the tech claimed the break was, or at least tell me how far from the clean-out the break was exactly, thinking it might have been further under the house than initially thought. Service Plus refused because I was not hiring them to do the rest of the work. I was simply asking them to give me the information from the time they were already out to the house. They told me they would not be doing anything else. On Nov 21, after an entire month with no plumbing, I had a plumber come out and he ran an auger with a cutter through my sewer line and the problem was fixed in less than an hour.
If Service Plus had not told me my 9 year old PVC piping was broken, I would have had enough money to have my line cleaned out right away. But because I was told I needed the yard excavated, I had to save up for 2 weeks to have enough to have the hole dug, then save up another 2 weeks to have enough for the plumber to come out. I still have no idea why the tech claimed my line was broken, or why he didn't attempt to run a cutter through it in the first place (I would have had enough to pay for that if he had done it that day).

This caused me significant stress considering I have 3 kids and had to drive them somewhere every time someone needed to use the restroom. I had to leave my job, drive 30 minutes home to take the kids for a bathroom break (school Fall break was during this time), then drive 30 minutes back to work every day. We had a run of some kind of stomach virus during this time, and I had to make over 10 bathroom trips a day for an entire weekend. I wasted a lot of money on gasoline, an unnecessary excavation, a second plumber, having to wash clothes at a laundry mat for myself and 3 kids for a month, and I had to pay for a membership at the YMCA so that we could have a place to shower daily (we have no family here). I had company come from out of town that had already planned their trip, but had not budgeted for a hotel because they were supposed to be staying at my house. They stayed at the house, but it was embarrassing to have to take them places to go to the restroom and use guest passes for them to shower at the YMCA. I had to go to food pantries several times for food because all my grocery money was used on gas and laundry. We had to eat microwave food for the month because without being able to wash dishes, we couldn?t cook.
This entire ordeal could have been prevented with an accurate diagnosis of my plumbing problem. I will never use Service Plus again.

For something that was probably as major of a sewage issues as you could possibly go through, I couldnt have been happier with the outcome and working with the crew at Burney's.  If you live in and around Hendricks County (Plainfield), there is really no need to look at any other plumbers.  We will be using Burney's for any plumbing need going forward!

Our main drain line appeared to be clogged. I called R&S in the morning. They told me they would definitely be out today and said they'd have the technician call when he was on his way. He did, and Jimmy and Andy showed up when they said they would. They asked questions about the problem, and I showed them the places where they could access the drain. The one they chose hadn't been opened in over 20 years, but they were able to open it. They cleared the drain.
Jimmy and Andy could not have been friendlier or more polite. They were careful  as they moved through the house, and quickly cleaned up any drips from the cable. They made sure the line was clear before they left.
I appreciated the prompt, friendly service. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again, or to recommend them to anyone else.

I've used Morz three times in the last 1 1/2 years. Each time they arrived when they said they would and performed the jobs correctly. Each time I was very surprised when I ended up paying less than I had expected. I won't hesitate to use them again if I need them. They do offer a coupon on their Angie's List ad but I forgot to use it twice. That was my fault, not theirs.

. Tech. showed up I showed him where I thought the obstruction might be and where the line ran from and ended in the street. At this time the tech tells me they have been there before and the 93.00 dollar price does not apply and it will be 349.00 , If they would have told me that on the phone I would not have used them, as this price gouging. This is a rental property and the tenant stayed home to be there when the line was cleaned appointment was made the day before and I had no option but to let him go ahead and clean the line which took every bit of 10 minutes. Yes they had been there before and snaked the line and we found out the problem was where the town had put in new main line in and had made a bad connection to my line from there line. Plumbing company wanted to reroute sewer line entirely and make a new tap on the city line for a fee of only 8,000.Told the salesman I would think about and called the town and got there contractor to fix the connection for 400.00.

Very well.  We have been very pleased. What impressed me is another company wanted to tear up my driveway and said it was a big job. Eddy was able to not do that and saved me a bunch of time, hassle, and money.

The repair went very well.  Aqua-Pro subtracted the cost of the Roto-Rooter from the overall cost of the repair.  Even though the utility lines were marked prior to digging, the phone line was snapped. It really coudn't be avoided since the phone line was next to the septic line.  They immediately called ATT and set up a phone line repair. We never missed not having a phone.   The septic system is working fine.
