    While they have fixed the equipment malfunctions the service techs only do exactly what is on the work order. They do not make sure that there are no other issues causing a problems which leads to unresolved issues and additional service calls. How they tell you to take care of your pool depends on what way the wind blows. As a first time pool owner, we were very diligent in caring for the pool as this was a big investment and one that we had worked toward for a long time. It was frustrating to not know what the right answer was because you heard so many different things. Once we got through that caring for the pool was a breeze, but the constant malfunctions were unacceptable. They are not very forthright at the beginning that most of the items covered under warranty for long periods of time are not the parts that break. Once you are out of the warranty zone, Pools of Fun will wash their hands of you in trying to stand by ANY of their work. They will only look for ways to change how you as the pool owner should have maintained your pool to make it appear as if issues were because of your faulty upkeep rather than their shotty work. I would NEVER send anyone to them. I would NEVER recommend that anyone use them unless you want to be prepared to fork over thousands of dollars in repairs each season because they do sub-par work, use sub-par equipment, and will not fix problems that are as a result of those things.

    Great service all around. We shopped around four months before deciding to go with Parma pools, and we weren't disappointed. Our construction manager Ron was very professional and courteous throughout the entire project. All phone calls were returned very quickly, he gave us timely information that we needed when we asked for it, and any small issues that happened during construction were taken care of promptly and professionally. If I had to complain about anything, it would be about the quality of the concrete installation for the pool deck. We installed approximately 1000 square-foot extra of pool deck admission cost of $5.80 per square foot. Perma pools had subcontracted this work out to a vendor that they've used for many years, but I was not happy with the final finished product. I thought a lot of the finer details of the finished concrete were done in a sloppy manner with little to no attention given to the smaller details and the final appearance. We did bring this issue up with our construction manager Ron, and he did address them as best as he could by giving us a small discount on the concrete finishing work. Overall, Perma Pools gave us a high-quality product that we will enjoy for many years to come. I highly recommend them if you are considering an in-ground pool.

    omeI would highly recommend Larry Goode and his people at The Pool Shop.  Larry came to the home that Kristi and I were considering buying and laid out several options for placement of a pool.  Based upon his recommendations, we put a deposit down for the pool and purchased the home.
    Within 2 weeks of our closing date, The Pool Shop was on site, building the 16 X 32 in-ground pool.  They were neat, efficient and very courteous.  After a 3 week process, the pool was completed and a punch walk was done to ensure that we were happy with the installation.  We pointed out a few minor issues, and they went the extra mile to make the requested changes.
    Through the course of the home purchase, we have had several contractors doing work for us, and I can tell you, The Pool Shop was without a doubt the best to work with.
    We look forward to many years of enjoyment with our new pool.

    We like it, and we haven't had any problems with it.  We haven't had any problems. They did the work really timely, and we didn't have problems with them coming out and fixing the furnace and the air conditioner. They also called to see if we needed other things needed around the house, but we didn't. Everything was done really fast, and they needed different people to do the roof, because of the shape of the roof. I have a friend of mine who also had 2 or 3 of theirs put in.

    Went out to go swimming, and noticed some cloudiness in the bottom of the pool...uh, oh! Went to my chlorine generator, as it had been giving me grief, to see if it finally failed, but didn't hear the pool pump running. When I reset the power on the pump, I would get a buzzing noise from the pump, but no water movement. I wish I hadn't made plans for a party on Saturday. Well, I decided to notify my home warranty service to see if it can be fixed by Saturday. I notified the warranty service at 5:30pm that my pump had failed. They said I would get a call in the morning from Affordable Pools and Spas to arrange service. Mike called me around 6:30pm, and informed me he would stop by in the morning. No one would be home, but he said we do not have to be here. I got home the next day at 1:00pm, and the pump was running. Mike did an excellent job diagnosing and fixing the problem quickly. He replaced only the part that needed fixing, and left a note with a fall pool closing quote on our front door. Mike claims to fix only whats needed, instead of making the customer buy a brand new piece of equipment, when a cost effective replaceable part had failed. Mike answered all phone calls promptly, and repaired the problem quickly.
    A little note on professionalism: As with all providers, professionalism goes a long way, and is evident in the smallest of acts. I had left two gates open for him, because they can sometimes give people grief when entering my yard. Mike closed both gates when he left. Further, Mike left our invoice on the front door, with a quote for fall closing of our pool. While this certainly was a smart move to increase his business, Mike anticipated our future needs, and left a written quote. He did not leave a note asking me to call to get a quote. Previous experience with other shops was that gates were typically left open, with a note asking me to call for a drawn out sales pitch on things I "have" to spend money on. I felt as though there was no pressure from Mike. I will definitely be calling him again.
    One last thing. I am a DIY'er when it comes to my pool. I manage the chemicals while avoiding pool shops, except for the specialty chemicals I cannot buy elsewhere. I was planning on closing my own pool, but with the prices Mike offers, I will likely contact him. He is at least $75 less than the cheapest pool shop near me.

    Were supposed to come out 2 days before, but when I hadn't heard from them by 6 pm, I called back. Apparently the person who took my order forgot to write down my city or my phone number which caused a delivery delay. They said they would still come out, but I called back again twice. The first time they said they would call back in 30 minutes and they didn't so I called again at 8:45 pm and they still couldn't tell me what time they could come out.
    I asked if we could reschedule so they agreed to come out 2 days later. Again, I called at 6 pm because I hadn't heard from them. No one answered and the voicemail was full. I called back again and they did answer, but couldn't give me a time that they would be there. Finally the driver called and was having trouble understanding the directions. He did make it after 9 pm.
    Then they were afraid they didn't have enough water to fill the pool. I told them I told her the dimensions of the pool when I had called and the delivery man said he didn't have that size of pool on the charts so they didn't know how many gallons it was. It is a standard 16' x 4' round pool. Then they overflowed the pool and the back legs started sinking. My pool is now very uneven and we are trying to figure out how to raise the legs with all that water in it. They also told me they had only 4,000 gallons on the truck, then said they had 5,000 gallons and when it was done, the delivery man said they put 5,500 gallons in it. Not sure how much water went out on the ground though.
    Needless to say, I won't be using them again.

    I have nothing but good things to say about them. They went above and beyond with the service. We have a spa now and that is the only place we will go to get products. They are very professional and if we would have gotten the pool, we felt they have done a good job.

    WOW!  What a great job.  What a great Company to do business with! My mother is so pleased with her new brick half wall around her patio just off her sunroom. The decorative cap on the wall completes the look.   Craig, Jared and their crew were so professional and kind.  They started and completed the project within a week. They went above and beyond our expectations, coming back to seed/straw area around the wall and power washed the patio.  I highly recommend them and will most certainly use them again for any future projects.  Thanks guys!

    Met Jim Schwartz at the Indianapolis Home Show.  We had seen the windows he was selling before and really liked them.  We were able to get a rough estimate by sending Jim the measurements of our window and door openings.  The rough estimate was much better than the estimate we had received from another company a couple of years ago.  We asked Jim to come out and give us a firm quote and the quote was even better than the estimate he had given us earlier.  Jim and his son came out to do the installation and were very professional.  The installation didn't take long and everything was cleaned up and old screen material removed.  Jim explained the warranty and provided us with window cleaner to use on our windows.
    An overall review of American Patio Enclosure would be: Professional, Quality Workmanship, Great Pricing and a Job Well Done.
