    The responsiveness is where they fail. They went over their time window and they didn't call. I called them once and they lied. Then they didn't call and they just showed up an hour past their window. They were not very nice about it or apologetic.

    Great work. Very responsive when we called. Very friendly. Really willing to work with our schedule. Cost was reasonable and we comparison shopped a bit. They even gave us a great referral for a piano tuner. I definitely recommend them!

    My husband is not happy with them. He called me and I told him what was happening and he said that he would call back and he never did. My husband was not satisfied with what they sent out. They said that they would send out a representative which they never did. When they delivered our bed it was missing a leg and a cushion on the couch collapsed. They sent a box with filling and he told me to fill it myself. He said that he would call back and he didn't. The cushion still looks bad. They did not do anything. We had to do the repairs ourselves. We would never use them again. They did not charge us.

    An all wood chest of drawers finally showed some wear from the daily use from a 5 year old. The drawer track was broken and when pulled out too far, would completely disengage. Paradigm came to our house to review the problem so we didn't have to transport the huge piece of furniture. They were able to fix part of it on site and took the drawer with them to complete the repair. Two years on, and it still works great. The repair has held up very well.

    Purchased a keyboard tray back in 2009 from Business Furniture, but was not able to get full articulation because of the desk design (purchased elsewhere). After a few years of this, contacted Business Furniture to find a reasonable solution. Because it took us some time to find the product number (not on the unit), it was difficult to properly relay our request at first. Finally got the right information with the right person, and we got a very good solution. Perfectly happy with the result.

    We are happy with their service. He dealt with a salesman named John and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was willing to do what we wanted and price-matched couple of appliances. They bent backwards to get the deal done. They saved us some money and we would highly recommend them.

    movers were courteous and on time
    I am very unhappy with the cost. The email I received made it sound as if the travel time was part of the cost and was not clear that travel time was additional. So, I was expecting $300 and paid $525 because of 1.5 hours of travel time.

    The guys that delivered it weren't personable but they were not unkind or grumpy. They came in, did their thing, and left. They moved a sofa for me that they really didn't have to do so they went beyond. They set up the bedroom suit and went on.

    I had used this company before for recovering a sofa and chair for my enclosed porch.  They came with samples a couple of times before I chose one, and the work was done within two weeks time.  They really do a great job!

    We purchased two sets of Simmons mattresses the end of December (went to the show room and placed the order). We were scheduled to have one of the sets delivered on January 16th. We waited for someone to call that day to give us the two hour window for delivery. By 1:00 p.m. we called them just to find out our order had been cancelled. JC Penney's is no longer dealing with Simmons.

    We waited for a delivery that never happened. The bad part is JC Penney's had two weeks before the delivery to call and tell us the problem, but nobody ever called. When I finally spoke with a sales rep (after speaking with management) they offered to give us a $100 discount on another set, but they no longer carry the name brand we wanted. Not much of a consulation if someone took one day off of work to wait on a scheduled delivery that did not take place. The manager even agreed the communication was very poor.
    We were told the order had somehow been dropped between Penney's and the manufacturer. They did not receive the order. However, we made a change to one of the sets and our sales rep had to cancel out that particular order and make a new order. In doing that, she had to call the manufacturer to make the neccesary changes. So someone had to know the order had been placed.

    I would caution anyone purchasing furniture from the Greenwood Penney's Home Store to make sure you follow up before your order is due for delivery. You may be surprised on delivery day when you receive nothing.
