    My furnace stopped working on super bowl Sunday when the outside temperature was 19 degrees. I called the company and Jeremy the owner responded in less than an hour. He came to the house and repaired the problem without charging an outrageous amount for the weekend. He was courteous and thorough and did not try to "up sale" other services.

    I got a coupon from them but they do a bait and switch type deal. When they come out, they basically tell you they got to do this, this, this, and it's gonna cost this amount versus being honest. They ended up doing the job, so they did kinda resolve the issue right then, but I don't know how many people fall for this. They initially said it would be $100 with the coupon but when they came out they quoted me $600. We told them that it was false advertisement and we was not going to pay that. They ended up cutting down the price to like $60 to $100. They did do an okay job. They did come out on time.

    The service was excellent.�� Ricky was fast, friendly and efficient.�� He worked very hard and got my vents really cleaned.�� I could actually smell the difference in my house.�� Highly recommend them for this service.�� They seemed to be at the top of their class for cleaning air ducts.

    The tech said the dryer vent went through the roof and the vent went through the crawl space. Showed him the vent that went from the crawl space....he said he did not know what that was. Had a previous company from Angie's list go in my crawl space and clean the dryer vent with great results. Feel the tech did not want to go through the crawl space. The dryer has not performed any better.i feel like complaining for 79.00 is petty,but the company promised a service I feel they did not deliver.

    I should have checked Angie's List for their reviews first before I purchased their full duct cleaning Groupon. I also made the mistake (apparently)of not asking more questions when I scheduled the cleaning. It was't until they arrived that I found out that the main trunks are not included in the deal I purchased through Groupon which, as I see in plenty of other reviews here, I was not the only one completely mislead into thinking that a main trunk would be included in an offer that states "Full Duct Cleaning - Unlimited Supply Vents, Unlimited Returns". When I confronted Jon about the misleading Groupon I was told that: a.) The main trunk is not technically a duct because it has a different name b.)That it was my fault for not being educated on the different parts/names of a duct system (hello?! That's why I hire the "professionals" to do it!) and c.) It was Groupon's fault for not allowing him to run the deal he really wanted to run because then his non-local competition who ALSO run these shady deals would win out. The work they did was fine but, due to their sneaky advertising tactics I will not be a repeat customer and I will not be referring them to anyone else I know. And now that I'm more informed about the whole duct cleaning process and how much it should truly cost, I'll hire a more honest company next time and pay a little more for my own peace of mind.

    Cleaned out the long dryer vent in my commercial building.  Had to change the day on the last second and they accommodated me without charging extra.  Did a thorough job from the outside vent to behind the dryer and replaced the longer pipe from behind the dryer with one shorter and more efficient.  I highly recommend them to anyone else

    There were scheduling delays. In purchasing the deal their was a place to specify days/blocks of times which I did. Later I found this was something Angie's List did and in actuality did not have anything to do with getting on Midwest Air Solution schedule. I think this should be deleted in future big deals. Part of the delay had to do with my personal life circumstances and when I tried to follow up by clicking on the link to schedule in an email I got an error message. I was told by Midwest that they had a computer system updated which affected email correspondences for a short period of time which probably interfered in getting my scheduling done. I was ultimately able to get an answer on a phone and discussed my delays. I was told by that individual that he could put me on the schedule between 3-5p on 7/29. A technician did not come during that time . I called and left a message of the no show and promptly got a call from a technician that it was not on his schedule that day. I was more than exasperated at this time. About an hour later I got an apologetic call from the office manager who explained that the person who gave me the 7/29 service time slot was the company president and this information did not related into the master schedule. At that time the service was rescheduled for 3:30p on 7/31. As my review indicates, I was very pleased with all other areas and in reviewing their recent reviews on the list gave come to the conclusion that my experience was isolated. They are a small company and I think they were somewhat overwhelmed by the huge response to this great deal. I would recommend them and use them in the future.

    Alpine Group was contracted to do mold remediation at my father's home that he is renting to my daughter. Dave Adams the owner of the company came out and performed a thorough inspection of the house. Dave provided me with a written estimate and explained what work would be done. Before having the work done we had contacted the insurance company to see if mold remediation was covered. Dave spoke with and provide all of the required paperwork the insurance company requested. Our claim was approved and Alpine started the work on December 2nd. Scott the technician arrived and informed use of all the work that would be done. My daughter is pregnant with her first baby and was concerned about any chemicals be used. Scott reassured her the chemicals used were not harmful and there was nothing to worry about. He answered all of her questions and always informed my son in law of the next area of the house that they would be working in next. We were told the work would take a week to complete. Alpine finished the work on time and did a very good job. I would recommend this company to any member.

    We looked at 3 different companies and decided to go with Bassett for the price and seeming quality offered.
    Our furnace had been declared unsafe by another company and shut off, so we were without heat. Bassett responded very quickly and were able to install the new system and get us heat again in one day.  They disposed of the old system and ran through the maintenance expectations on the new system. Bassett was very friendly and professional.
    It's been close to 5 months since the new system was installed and we're very satisfied thus far.
