They had contacted me to state that they could not due the work due to we had already purchased the doors prior to service.  Although this is upsetting, I was very pleased to get an email this soon explaining this and not having to wait a long time for this type of response.
Would contact them for future work as needed.

Cabinet re-facing, new doors and drawer fronts:  good quality, good customer service, installers were knowledgeable, courteous and professional.  Only one draw-back to re-facing.  I was not aware that the inside, stained edges of the cabinets would not be covered with laminate.  It might have made a difference when I was choosing re-facing vs. replacing.  The outer surface of the cabinets are sanded so the laminate will stick.  This leaves an unfinished edge that is visible when the door is open.  It is up to the consumer to stain or paint that surface after the work is done.

Corian counter top:  A+ all around.  Measurements and installation all professionally done, perfect fit.

Tile backsplash:  Good quality, beautiful installation. Cabinets and countertops were protected during installation, but only the countertop was protected when the grout was installed.  Installer scratched front surface of one of the drawers, probably with his belt buckle as he was leaning in to grout an area in a corner.  Would recommend all surfaces be protected duing installation process.

    Home Experts
Ken Bennett was my contact at Home Experts and he agreed to come out and do an estimate for the repairs I needed.  I feel like I explained it very well.  I showed him the trim around my door, which needed to be replaced and painted.  I told him I wanted to have the front door painted.  I showed him the piece of siding that I needed to have reattached to my house after it blew off from a wind storm.  I showed him the spot where it needed to be reattached, way at the top side of my house.
We had a brief, mix up on scheduling the job but it wasn't a big deal.
When a gentleman showed up to fix it, he seemed like he had no idea what he was supposed to do.  I showed him the wood that needed to be replaced around the door, but he had no wood with him.  After he took some measurements, he left to find the nearest place he could purchase wood.  He came back and did the job, but he told me that they couldn't paint the trim or the front door because it was too cold out for the paint.  Fair enough.  He said someone could come out when it warmed up a bit.
I asked about the siding.  He had no idea that siding needed to be hung.  I pointed out the spot where it needed to go and he told me he didn't have a ladder with him that could reach that high.  He offered to go get one.  I agreed that would helpful.  I had to go run some errands and he told me that was fine and that he would return (with ladder) and finish the job while I was gone.  I asked for a final price and asked how to pay him.  He had no idea.  Said I'd have to call Ken.
He leaves.  I call Ken and Ken apologizes, but offers no reason why things are not going very smoothly.  He tells me that for the work they had done, I would owe him $341.00 but according to the itemized estimate he originally gave me, the cost for the door and the siding (minus the painting) would come to $386.00.  I tell him this.  He says "Yes, $386.00 is fine."
I come back from my errands and yes, the siding is hung and looks fine.  I cut Ken a check.  The end.
No one ever gets back to me about following up on painting the wood or the door.
I finally painted the trim, but a couple of days ago (April 21, 2015) I realized that I had some additional trim around the windows that needed fixed, so I thought I would call Ken again and give them another chance.  I called that day and left a message on Ken's voicemail describing the new job and adding in that I would like them to paint the door.
Here we are, two days later and nothing.  No returned call.  Nothing.  So I log in to Angie's List to find someone else and the site is asking me to review the work I had done by Home Experts.  So I am.  I probably wouldn't have even bothered if they had at least returned my latest call, but nothing, so this is my response.
Did they do the work?  Yes.  Did they ever follow up on the other work I had requested?  No.  Did they return or acknowledge my most recent call for additional work?  Nope.

I called Tracy to get quote to replace both doors. I worked out price with him and he got to it right away actually the same day. They took out old doors and installed new ones. As we talked, he told me he did painting as well, so we ask him to measure and give us quote. He did verbally but never sent nothing by email as he stated he would. After I paid and he left the job, I looked at their work and noticed they didn't put door handle on square and damaged floor. I called him back and he came out the next day to fix door handle and he said once we pick out flooring he would replace it free of labor but never said he would pay for flooring. I gave him benefit of doubt and was going to see about painting but now he won't return calls or emails or texts. I finally got some one to paint and I had them to take off door casing around door to replace it since there were a bunch of nail holes from original install and Tracy taking it off to replace doors and guess what he didn't even insulate around the door.
I guess you get what you paid for.
Be AWARE because his work is very poor.

I was impressed with Tracy from the beginning. He was timely in coming out to give me an estimate. His estimate was reasonable. His work was professional. He and his worker were considerate and did quality work. I will definitely consider using him again for any future projects I have at my house!

Within a day of contacting him, Pat came to the house to talk over the work we needed done on the door to our sunroom. There was quite a bit of wood rot at the base of the door frame from moisture damage over the years. Pat was very helpful in describing our options to correct the problem. We scheduled an appointment with him to fix the door the next week. During the repair of our door and installation of a new screen door, Pat and his crew were very professional, courteous and friendly; they were careful and thoughtful in their work; and executed the removal, repair and installation procedures beautifully. You could easily tell that each one took great pride in their work and they have had years of experience in what they do. Pat and his team are masters of their craft and we would definitely recommend them to anyone needing handyman services. It will be a pleasure to hire them again.

I learned very quickly that if I wanted something done right (even the first time!) that I had hired the right individual. Before rebuilding the staircase, Regi leveled the floor (via a very small crawl space). The staircase and all subsequent projects have gone beautifully. He did one room of hardwood floors and, from watching him, I learned the skill and put down the remaining floors. The current project is perfect (the re-roofing of the garage). The garage is a very old structure and he put a lot of prep work into leveling the roof structure and putting down new ply board before putting on the shingles. He will be the one I hire to reconstruct the upstairs of my old home, which will become a master bedroom and bath, along with a reading room at the top of the stairs.
