    German Concepts
At the beginning, I was very happy with their response. My car was stack at the parking lot 40 miles away from them. I contacted dealership that use to service Volvo, and they recommended German Concepts. AAA took me there and they promised to get the parts and fix the car in a several days. I rented a car and they fixed my car in a course of seven days. This part was great. The service adviser responsive - promise of the great service so I asked them, as the car is in the service, to check a bumping sound coming from the front end and to fix my parking brake. That part was a service performed disaster and for me financially. After I picked up the car, I could still hear this bumpy sound so I paid for something that did not solve the problem. Parking brake was a separate costly story.First time I applied parking brake, it was very weak and I called to complain. They asked me to return back. They worked on the car and let me go without it being fixed, they just disconnected the linkage. I was told they needed to buy the tool to fix it. I had to pay 100.00 for this tool. I did not have a choice. After the next visit, they worked on the car and did not fix the parking brake. The new verdict was they need the new linkage and 500 more Dollars. I never come back. You should never go there. I sold the car and I am happy I do not have to deal with them any more.

    Perry Automotive
We took rough-running  truck into Perry's while under warranty.  Although the warranty company paperwork stated the truck had to remain in the shop after claim initiation the boy at the counter told us that we could take it home until after they had heard from the warranty company with claim information.  He said he dealt with that same company all the time and we were
fine.  Brought truck back, and they diagnosed problem but the warranty company declined coverage because the truck had been driven from the shop after the first visit.
The owner of the shop said it was the company's mistake and he would make things right by providing a rebuilt
engine with 99,000 miles and a 12 month warranty.   We would only have to pay about  $900 labor plus some fluid costs.
He showed us a paper with the costs on it but pointed out that we would not be charged the engine figure shown.   We told him we'd pay the labor even though we had only had a $100 deductible with the warranty company.  We felt kind
of sorry for him having to take such a loss for that boy?s mistake.   We didn't sign anything.
Few days later they call and say we owe $2900 for the truck.  We pointed out that we were not supposed to be billed that amount because Mr Perry himself had given us a much lesser figure.   We didn?t pay the bill, he kept the truck.  This has been going on for three months.
We have had to pay an attorney to deal with Perry's attorney.  Perry?s finally agreed to do the work for free but refuses to give us any type of warranty on his engine or work.   We can't afford any more attorney fees.
We have had to pay for a rental car during this time.
We filed with the BBB in attempt to get the thing resolved, but Perry?s stopped responding.
The only way we can get the truck back is to sign an agreement stating that we accept the truck as is with all faults and that there is no warranty of any kind.  We have no recourse if that truck does not run properly after we get it home.  We don't have the money to fight it.
We would not go back to Perry's nor would we let our friends or family take a vehicle there.  We were lured in by his ad stating that "Experience meets Integrity"  and his statements that he wants to change the negative feelings the public has for auto repair shops.  He says he does not take advantage of people, especially those who have little knowledge of cars
Unfortunately his shop made an expensive mistake and he wasn't willing to give us the peace of mind that a warranty would provide.

As an update, we went to Perry's attorney's office yesterday at 4:30 PM to pick up the truck and and sign the agreement.  The agreement included a section saying we would not make any disparaging remarks, written or verbal.  The above review was submitted at just about 4:00 PM, half an hour prior to signing the agreement.  We have printed copy with the time of 4:07 PM at the bottom so we have done nothing the agreement said we could not.  The above review was done fair and square, prior to any agreement being signed.

    Zolman Tire
Overall good service, although I would probably check prices at Sears first because about 2 weeks after getting our work done at Zolmans. Sears ran a better special that would have saved us about $100.00.

We had a blower fan replaced. It wasn’t under warranty, so I had to pay $700 for that and wasn’t happy.
