The repairman was very personable and didn't mind me asking about problem I was having with a second door, which also wasn't always closing as it should. He showed me how to adjust that door in addition to raising the garage door so it wouldn't stick.

Went great. Sales discussion was more about what was needed than having someone try to sell us windows we didn't need. Windows are solid quality. Install crew was timely, efficient, and professional. Finished product looks great and our house is much easier to cool now.

Materials had to be ordered but they came in sooner than what was expected. Every person that I had contact with associated with The Glass Guru (North) was very professional, personable and polite. They cleaned up after themselves and didn't mind my twenty questions. I will use them in the future if the need arises.

From the initial consultation to the installation, this has been a very smooth process. All measurements were double checked for accuracy, delivery of the product was on time and the guys were really great. Installation went smoothly despite some rain. The guys were polite, friendly, and professional. They made sure they did everything right from beginning to end. If I ever needed to, I would hire them again and would recommend them to anyone.

Very happy we chose Solutions to install our new slab front door. Home is new construction and what we thought would be a simple builder grade metal door switch-out became quite a headache. After ordering a pre-milled slab door we discovered the builders door hinges were slightly off from standard. Builder must hang them in the frame individually and not through ThermaTru? No idea. Only option reamained was to order the door we wanted with no millwork for hinges or handles. Wary of choosing the contractors through the big box store because we spent a lot of time and money on this, we found Solutions on A.L. So glad we did. Door was still 1/8" off and they made that work, door swings perfectly and seals tightly. Pleasure to have them in our home. Quick, efficient, and professional.

Overall it was great....everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. The quality of the door is as good as or better than I anticipated. The installation guys did a great job with the exception of the interior patching above the door. It was not leveled off and as smooth as I would have liked to see it.

Exceptional quality of work. I was consulted with any choices or questions as work was completed. I was delighted with the quick competition of this project and the room was cleaned up and left immaculate. The trim work and crown molding matched the existing trim in the room. I would recommend this company.

The guys showed up with a hammer and chisel. I was disappointed. I gave them my router and jigs in an effort to get all the doors hung in one day. I was hopeful. They got all the interior doors hung with some effort and 1.5 of the bifold doors hung. The one guy has COPD and was struggling all day just to perform. I felt bad for him. He had to finally quit and go sit in the truck. He couldnt breath. It was just shy of their quitting time so I didn't say anything. I will finish the job myself. They got most everything done and cleaned up. I guess most people use prehung doors. I thought this would be less expensive but that was when I was going to hang them. Anyway...

    Legacy Window & Door LLC
Initial meeting with owner, Mark Spencer, went very well on August 29th, 2016. No pressure from Mark to buy. Assured that if I went with him I would have his brother-in-law James doing the install. This was a big selling point for me as I did not want a sub- contracted crew in my home that Legacy could not vouch for. During meeting on August 29th I was told that my windows and doors would be ordered as soon as I paid a down payment and signed a contract. On September 2, 2016 Mark brought out samples of the exact type of window we would be getting and my husband and I signed the contract and paid Mark $12,872.00 which was half of the total cost. I was told my windows would take 4-6 weeks from this time. My contract with Mark at Legacy states that the projected end date will be October 2016. Mark emailed me on Sept. 7th that my information was entered into the Polaris system, but that he would send someone on Friday Sept. 9th to make sure the sizes were correct. This was done. I emailed Mark on September 9th asking if there was a possibility the work would be complete by October 16th because I was hosting an event at my home. Mark emailed back there was a good chance this was possible. On October 13th I emailed Mark to see if he had hear anything about my order. On October 14th he responded that it would be another 3 weeks since my patio doors and kitchen windows were special order due to the fact they had built in blinds. He told me that these have longest turn a round time at Polaris. Needless to say October came and went. If I wanted to see what was happening I was the one that had to contact Mark Spencer. On November 8th I received an email saying that my order will be here right before Thanksgiving. He gave me his reps name and number saying the delay was all on Polaris and his rep would verify. Supposedly I had a "HYPER CUSTOM ORDER" according to Mark. I will say the kitchen windows and doors did have built in blinds, but my garage, dining room, upstairs bedroom windows and great room windows did not have blinds. I pointed this out to Mark wondering why all of those rooms weren't ready to be put in, but not given an answer. November 18th and I get an email from Mark saying my windows will be in on Wednesday the 23rd and they will set up install after Thanksgiving at the first of the week. Work began on Tuesday, November 29th and was finally completed on Saturday December 3rd. Let me tell you this before I continue. The ONLY saving grace with Legacy windows and Mark Spencer is the super qualified, kind and attentive installers that he had come to my home. Instead of his brother-in-law, I was introduced to Beth, Darrell and Justin. These three did an amazing job of removing rotted out wood windows, rotten sliding doors, replacing rotten wood under doors and cleaning up after themselves. I would have loved to be able to give them their own rating as they deserve an A+ for everything that they have done to make this experience better. Amazing installers is what kept me from giving Legacy a lower rating. On Saturday, I paid the installers the remaining $12,872.00 without having Mark come back on Saturday to see if I was happy with the work and to make sure that everything was working. When I told Mark how frustrated I was with how long the order had taken he told me that Polaris is the worst company for how long it takes to get custom products. He apologized profusely, however, apologies don't work when you are pushed aside and don't have what you are promised. I wanted to see for myself that this was all on Polaris and their fault so I called them today at their headquarters in Ohio. I still have over 30 windows that I will be replacing in my home and wanted to see where the real delay came from. I gave Polaris my order number (can be found on stickers inside window when they are opened). I was told that my order was not actually placed on Setember 7th but rather placed much later on September 21st from Modern Building Supply in Indianapolis. This information told me all that I needed to know. I was lied to not only in multiple emails, but also to my face. I need to find a new company to purchase the rest of my windows from. Had Mark placed my order when he told me on September 7th or even the 9th I would have been able to have my order installed before the Thanksgiving Holiday which was a major reason we went with Mark to begin with. His delay in ordering my products, even with my money in his pocket has caused me a great deal of distress during the holiday season. Today is December 5th,2016 and I still haven't heard from Mark about how the remainder of the installation went.

They were very prompt and did a great job! From the moment I called them, they arrived 45 minutes later, which was awesome for my emergency situation. They were very helpful and quick and walked me through the door install/ fix.
