Gutter Repair reviews in New Albany

    Ray Norton Roofing
Was given THREE different start dates. With NO communications that he wouldn't be there/show up, all 3 times. He (his crew) finally arrived at 10 AM on a Friday and did not complete the roof. They returned Saturday and completed the roof and left with out correcting the gutter or installing the attic ladder. He promised to come back Tuesday to "complete" his estimate with gutters and cutting in an attic ladder. Wednesday I texted him and asked when he would be able to do the gutters at least. He said he would be at my house shortly (same day), he was "finishing" another job. No show! No call/text. TWO LOUD thuds during roof installation caused two cracks in my kitchen ceiling radiating from the chimney. They were not there prior to his start. One of his crew seen the ceiling before and after.

    Jeff Home Improvements Inc.
I received a call promptly after reviewing Jeff Home Improvement they scheduled me for July 26 2018 between 2-3 pm to give me estimates. I took off work stayed home to meet with the contractor who never showed up called to reschedule or had the respect to let me know he was no longer interested. I called another contractor who came out gave me an estimate and the job was completed today by the contractor who showed up. It's bad business when you make an appointment and don't even call the client back to say you're not coming. I have other jobs I was going to inquire about however I will definitely be going with a different contractor. Thanks for showing me nothing but disrespect and not even attempting to keep our scheduled appointment. I'm pleased w the contractor I hired when u declined our appointment

    Graduate Contracting Inc
Graduate was incredibly accommodating. They were able to work around our schedule. They were very friendly, and they were very helpful. When they recommended we check with our insurance, We were thrilled that they were not trying to sell us the most expensive service. We are very happy to be working with them.

    Paul J Lilly Roofing
Great! Paul and his guys did a good job, communicated what they were doing/going to do. Definitely the right balance of seeking my input as the homeowner and making their own decisions based on their experience. Only negative was a 7am wake-up call for my wife (I was at work) on a Saturday.

    Quality Construction Pro LLC
Ken is very easy to work with.  He knows his craft, he is willing to get out there while it's raining to help solve any issues.  His pricing has been very reasonable.  His timing is good and he is so nice to work with.  I highly recommend Quality Pro!

They were here on the day they said they would be here. Every night before they left they would clean up and even sweep. I watched what they were doing around my flowers and always were nice. We had 2 minor things wrong and they came and fixed right away. We had inspector come before they did the work and after. He found the 2 small problems and had them fix within two days. I have no complaints

    Graduate Contracting Inc
Graduate Contracting replaced my roof and some gutters/trim after a hail storm in summer of 2014, and they walked me through the entire process!  They were very professional and very concerned with my happiness.  I asked Devin why the name of the company is Graduate Contracting, and he informed me it's because everyone who works there is a college graduate.  At the time, I was already won over by this company, but that gave me added reassurance that I had chosen the right contractor.  It's nice to know the people you're entrusting with your home repairs are educated and professional, and not just some Joe Schmo off the street.
In January of 2016, I noticed a discolored, wet spot on my living room ceiling.  Right away, the company I thought of to call was Graduate Contracting.  They were able to come out that very same night to take a look.  It was an odd issue, as a pipe in the attic had become disconnected, not allowing air to flow out the vent through the roof.  Instead, condensation was collecting right beneath where the pipe was disconnected, and that's what appeared as a damp spot on my ceiling.  Chris and Russell wanted to consult with Dustin before moving ahead to fix the problem, just to make 100% sure their intended course of action was the right one.  I appreciated this, because I'd rather have someone fix something the RIGHT way, rather than just going up in the attic to tinker around and make it worse.
As a single woman living alone, I especially appreciated their professionalism and their refusal to take advantage of a "clueless" female homeowner/decision-maker.  In fact, they fixed the pipe/ceiling issue FREE OF CHARGE!  I was floored!  And never once did they make me feel uncomfortable (as a single woman may feel being alone with strange men).
Every associate I have come in contact with has been extremely friendly, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and informative.  I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone!

The worker failed to show up for several weeks and had told the Owner he had been on site.  The work finally got done but the gutters leak and do not drain.  The initial scope of work was agreed upon.  I took Kevin's recommendation for what should be done.

I took the Owners advice on how the gutters should be laid out.   The gutters we leaking so I climb up on a ladder to see that the water was sitting in the gutters.

I called  back and they agreed to come out and take a look. It took several more calls to get someone to come take a look. I allowed them several months as I assumed they were busy.  The Worker told Kevin they were fixed but they were the same.

Kevin finally came out to see what the issue.  It took about 3 to 4 months to get them back out to see what the issue was.  They made a second recommendation to add an additional drain.  We agreed on the additional work and the extra cost.  He said he would have someone come out in a few weeks.  That was over a year ago.  To this day no one has returned my calls nor been back to fix the gutters.  have called several times and never got a call back.  I am very unhappy with the gutters.  Sure they look okay, but what good are they if they  don't drain?  I called again about a month ago and got voice mail, left a message, never got a call back.

I really need my gutters to drain.  I chose this company because of Angie's list and never took the time to put my experience online.

    Hope this helps others.

Our initial date got rained out, and since the work was ALL outside, we asked to reschedule, which John did without hesitation.
The rescheduled date was perfect and sunny and they showed up right on time.
I had tons of jobs in my old house that needed doing, but we settled on three for this session and purpose of the big deal:
    • Fix a downspout
    • repair a broken concrete step
    • repair a gate on an eight foot privacy fence.
Our house is a MONSTER (a three story victorian with an attic and basement).  One of the jobs I needed to handle was a downspout that had fallen during a storm.  No big deal, right?   WRONG.  I had five other contractors look at the job and refused to even touch it.  John not only agreed to the task, but was able to fix it better than it originally was.
A concrete step had a large portion of the corner broken off, and a second railing could not be added due to the missing concrete.
This was fixed quickly and he even came back afterward to remove the form so we didn't have to take care of that.  Did I mention that he cleared the weeds from around the porch for me while he built the form?
The final job was a fence that has seen better days.  Since it is an 8 foot fence, the gate is rather large and heavy.
Over time it had begun to sag and it was being held closed by a heavy brick.
John took off the gate, repaired the broken board, replaced the hardware, added support to the framework, and rehung it.  We now have a perfect swinging gate that does not sag and keeps our doggies safe.
I am more than happy with the work that was performed and we will be calling  again!

Installers showed up on time. Finished in one day and did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. Had a problem with one section of gutter and Kevin was very prompt about coming out and fixing it. All is good now.
