I made the appointment for my exam around May 15.I was 15 minutes early for my exam and I was called back 5 minutes before my actual appointment time. After the initial tests, I was taken to an exam room, where Amy came in soon after I was seated.I told her of my dry eye symptoms and she gave me a sample and ordering info for Oasis Tears Plus, which I love.Dr Piracha came in and determined my glasses prescription and I was good to go.I love my new glasses!

It was fine. They were recommended by my eye doctor. I had a bad prescription and I ended up having some more enhancements but that's just the nature of the beast. I wasn't wild about the doctor but the group was okay.

The overall experience was excellent. He is really good at what he does. The office environment is average. He is very busy and he is backed up, but he is so good that I don't mind it. The staff is good. I would use this provider again.

He is a very experienced optometrist, and I have been satisfied with him. He is older, and he does a good job. He is in my insurance plan, which is one more reason why I go to him. I don't have anything bad to say about him. I would rate him highly and would continue to use him in the future. In fact, my husband has an appointment there next week.

My right eye felt like it had something in it (other than my contacts) on and off for a few months.. After determining that I didn't have any foreign objects in my eye and my contact was clean and undamaged, I was able to flip up my eyelid and discovered that I had a several bumps on the underside of my eyelid...yuck! I always went to a local and quot;one hourand quot; place for eye exams, so I really didn't have a and quot;eye doctorand quot;. My husband had Lasik a few years ago with Dr. Piracha and liked him very much, as well as a couple of our friends, so I decided to go see him about my eyes. At my appointment, the staff did several different eye exams, and dilated my eyes...and I was seen by the doctor. He determined that I had Giant Papillary Conjunctivitis...which he explained that basically my eyes have become allergic to my contacts and as long as I wore them, I would have the problem. I had been wearing contacts for around 25 years and very rarely wore glasses. Treatment consisted of not wearing contacts and the use of medicated drops for 3 weeks. At my follow up appointment, on August 2nd, my eyes had healed nicely and I was tired of the glasses already, so we discussed the lasik surgery. I decided to schedule it for two days later on August 4th.

I can see!!! The whole procedure is amazing. It is a quick and painless surgery. There is a smell when the laser is doing its job...kind of like burning hair...but other than that, it went great. I am so happy that I had the lasik is so wonderful to be able to see clearly all of the time. Dr. Piracha and his staff were wonderful throughout the whole process. They took the time to cover all aspects of the process...from how to prepare for the actual surgery will go, step by step and gave thorough instructions on what to do after surgery.

I highly recommend Dr. Piracha and John Kenyon to everyone for their eye care health and if considering lasik surgery. It is an expensive procedure, and there are eye doctors that advertise lower prices...but my vision was too important to me to trust the cheapest doctor in town. I look at it as an investment in myself.

In July I ordered contact lens and was told that I needed to pay first and then they would submit to my insurance.  They told me that when insurance paid they would reimburse me.  In October I called and asked about the reimbursement at the same time I attempted to make an appointment for a floater that had developed in my right eye. They told me that I had to come in for a routine exam before I could be seen about the floater.  I called another physician and got an immediate appointment event though I was a new patient because they were concerned it might be a damaged retina.  When the doctor saw me about the floater (who happened to be a retina specialist) I was told there was no evidence of cataracts. I had been told by Eye Associates to plan on getting surgery in the near future for the cataracts.  But back to the billing problem.  It was a game of phone tag but I finally got someone to admit they had not yet processed the reimbursement.  Again I waited.  I contacted them again in January.  They said it would be processed and reimbursed to my credit card.  It has never happened.  Today is May 10.  I just got a call and they said the check they had attempted to mail me had been returned due to a bad address.  It is almost a year. The address they had is my home address.  I have not moved.  If I had taken this long to pay them, I would have been sent to collections by now.  I will never do business with them again.  I believe they are unethical and certainly unable to operate a "business".  I am still not sure if the check is really "in the mail."  If I do not get reimbursement within the next week I will try another route - maybe a letter to the editor or Lemme Do It.

I've been seeing him for about 15 years. His office is okay and serves its purpose. He is very good in dealing with my insurance. He is busy so I have to make an appointment sometime in advance. They keep to their appointment times. He is excellent at communicating. Sometimes they are a little slow at billing. I will definitely continue to see him.

Dr. Piracha and the staff and John Kenyon Eye Care Center were great! I went from 20/400 to 20/20, and I've been very happy with my results! They were meticulous in all details before, during, and after the surgery.
