    SJ Painting
Extremely professional, timely, and even guided me through the process. I have been a paint myself kind of person this experience has changed that with the quality of the finish. Will continue to use SJ for all painting needs going forward. Had SJ look at the exterior as well was very patient when giving me my options. Would rate an A+ if it was an option.

What a great job on exterior of my house! I rehired this company for several projects in house. I plan on having my deck stained this spring by this company. Owner is extremely professional and answered all my questions.

    CertaPro Painters of Northwest Indiana
The team was professional, prompt and conscientious. Louis and his team of Gustavo, Soloman, Andrew and Marco were very detail oriented and took the time to get everything right. They were all very patient with the questions posed to them by my husband and myself and did a great job of explaining the process. They always showed up when they were supposed to and did a great job cleaning up after each day. I highly recommend them and hope to bring them back to do interior painting.

    John Krekovich Construction
John came in, super professional, assessed any load-bearing issues and ultimately gave us a very clean look. He worked by himself and never left a mess. We are thrilled with the results and highly recommend him for this type of work!

Michael Ham Painting & Decorating Corp
It went great. Michael couldn't have been nicer. He and his team were great. We even had a piece of trim to replace. He took a picture, matched it up, then painted and installed it. Would definitely hire them again.

Let me start by saying that the quote that I got from the Woodshop was the most expensive for the project of remodeling my kitchen, but because the Woodshop had a good reputation based on reviews on Angie List,, and word of mouth I made the decision to contract with them for the job. I cant begin to explain how disappointed I am with the whole experience. In an effort to keep this from becoming too long I will highlight the main areas of concern below: - There were things that I was told prior to signing the contract which ended up being untrue or not honored by the Woodshop, The items were not important to the completion of the job but I feel it is worth mentioning. - There was a definite lack of communication from the Woodshop on important issues such as scheduling, project delays, and problem resolution. - There was also a lack of communication within the Woodshop. There were instances in which staff was not aware of important project details, which in some cases affected materials ordering. In addition, there were scheduling issues that resulted from the lack of communication within the company. - The design for the kitchen contained a flaw in the spacing of the cabinets that would not allow for the dishwasher door to open fully. It would open about two-thirds of the way and then come to rest on the side of the pantry cabinet. I was told it was because the unusual size of the dishwasher door (its a GE Profile). This was corrected by cutting back the pantry so now the door opens, but that caused other issues because the counter top installation was meant to be flush with the Pantry - The cut outs for the built in dishwasher and refrigerator are extremely tight. So tight that dishwasher hose was causing the dishwasher to be installed at an angle and the appliance installer had to replace the rubber insulation with a much thinner version so that the door would close properly. At one point the pressure from the refrigerator actually caused the side panel of the built in to detach leaving a gap in the cabinetry above the fridge and the side panel. I want to note hear that all appliance measurements were given to them months in advance. When I questioned the sizing of the built in I was told that the built-ins are designed to standard sizes, not to the fit of my appliances specifically. This makes me wonder why they needed the specs to the appliances that I purchased? - The finishes were rushed and sloppy. It took several return visits from the woodshop and I still had to hire another contractor to cleanup some of the sloppy work that was done. - To this point there has been a lack of follow up and concern from The Woodshop. There are still issues that I am working to resolve and I am beginning to believe that I am going to have to pay another contractor to complete. This really is just a summary of the bigger pain points experienced with this kitchen remodel. To be fair, my kitchen looks good, some things were done really well. It took some time, but my kitchen functions properly with only minor flaws, but it was a definite struggle to get to this point. One last note; The owner of The Woodshop can be very convincing when he is standing in your partially functioning kitchen asking for final payment. I would recommend that you hold off until you are completely satisfied with the work. My husband and I didnt.

    PRJ Construction Concepts LLC
Wonderfully! I had to reschedule original appointment because of pneumonia and Amy was most understanding. When the rescheduled time came, Peter and Amy showed up promptly and totally prepared. What a nice couple! The previous home's owners really jacked the old fan's install; found a live wire and no ground! We were all flabbergasted. What I thought was going to be a simple replacement turned out to be pretty much a fire hazard correction. I'm very pleased and already plan on scheduling PRJ for several other projects.

    Express Painting and Pressure Cleaning
Joe painted the entire interior of our home. Most of the original walls were veige, but one was a very dark burgandy/brown. The results were perfection! The coverage was complete and the ceiling/wall lines were amazing. Other family members have even noticed the straight lines and absence of any wiggles on moldings, etc. Noteworthy, also, is how safe I felt with him in my home. I was often there while he worked, but also trusted him to work without me home.

    Rhema Painting
Rhema Painting did an excellent job. The attention to detail was incredible. Even did extra work without charge to make sure finished job was flawless and perfect! Could not ask for a better dry waller and painter! Love my new bathroom! Painter went beyond my expectations because he paid attention to the smallest details. He made sure I was completely satisfied with the job by having me review it every step of the way.
