They built a home for me in 2003. They stood by everything they did even after my home warranty was up. The owner, Mark Thurston, is a true man of his word. You can't believe everything you see on TV or commercials but I honestly believe him when he says he will buy your house back if you are not happy. Anything that went wrong, he would send a crew out to fix it the very next day.

I have great respect for this man and his company.

Built 1000 sq. ft. add-on mother-in-law suite to existing home. Added a great room, kitchen, bedroom and bath suite with large covered porch.

General contractor was very lax in responsibilities. As the home owner I knew as much as he did about what his men were and were not doing. Plumbing sub-contractors they used were sub par. They were told to drill two 4 inch holes in existing basement wall to enter into new crawlspace for plumbing to go from existing dwelling to new add-on and drill from new crawlspace side so concrete dust would not settle in existing finished basement. They drilled from existing finished basement side and concrete dust covered the entire basement and filtered up to first floor of existing home. Neither TK or the plumbers did anything to clean the mess up. We were left to do it ourselves. The bathroom vanity light fixture stub-ins were in the incorrect place to be directly over dual sinks. They spaced them for a 6 ft. vanity and we were getting a 5 ft. vanity. I had to move them myself. Finish contractor that hung window and door trim and all bath and kitchen cabinets did not hang kitchen cabinets level, window and door trim was not nailed securely all around, he didn't attach handle hardware to any of the cabinets. I had to mount them myself. The concrete contractors he used argued with me as to the way I wanted my sidewalks laid. They didn't use proper concrete mix and used no mesh or rebar even after I told them that was the way I wanted it in the beginning. Sidewalks and porch, after 1-1/2 years have cracked considerably. I have had other concrete work done and not crack that soon at all. House has settled so much that the ceiling in the living area of the new addition is cracked clear across an 18ft. room. Landscaper that was supposed to finish the yard and put in drywells the downspouts connected and flowed into didn't do that correctly and the yard floods in areas.
