ALeaders Moving & Storage Co of IndianapolisIt went well. I contracted with someone in the Leaders office and arranged the move and to pay on the receiving end. I think the 2 movers were new. They asked the assisted living facility for the payment. Also, the 2 movers said they could not take liquid detergent and some other cleaning items (which I had to replace). Found out they actually were allowed to take the liquid items, as long as not bleach or combustible. They dismantled and reassembled the bed. They also dismantled the bed in the receiving household and moved it to another room. That bed was replaced by the one they just moved from the facility. Two movers were very accommodating, and I would recommend. Also, the estimate was the same as the final price. Move took about 4 hours.- Carol P.

I was amazed that they were able to match my last minute deadline and were so professional about moving my piano. AVery well ! Our old residence was in a "nursing home" environment and only two packers and movers were allowed in the building at anytime. Emery's sent five movers; so, while the two movers inside packed up our furnishings the other three unloaded and loaded the 95-100 boxes and items in the garage. The movers appeared to work through lunch and dinner and were done in 10-11 hours with our furnishings placed where we chose and were reassembled ready for us to use by bedtime. Our items from the garage were placed in the new garage and indoor cartons were appropriately marked by room and items so we could open them as necessary. The wardrobes and boxes which we cannot use will be picked up by Emery,s Movers.

FTerrible, they won't respond when I try to call them. I have broken items and the dropped a safe off the back of the truck as they drove away without the door closed. I could go on for a while. I have items that didn't show up on the truck that I know was put on the truck.

They shrink wrapped everything and were very cautious, careful and polite We did notice a new gouge/ scratch on wood floor of old house and scrape on new wall of new house , but overall very pleased. FNot good! Called 2 hours before move and said wanted to reschedule for almost a week later due to mechanical issues. What can I do, I had to be out of my place the next day. They call me back later that night to say they would be at my place the next morning at 8 AM. Guess what? They failed to show. Called their manager who suggested I rent a UHaul truck and move myself. Worst experience ever!

FDO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! They scheduled us for a move, sent us a confirmation email, and FORGOT ABOUT US. We had to call them over and over and at first they refused to come the same day to move us and finally after my wife cried her eyes out to them they finally agreed to come late in the evening. We only agreed to this after we were told they would give us a SUBSTANTIAL discount for their huge mistake. This was all verbal over the phone and we agreed to let them move us. Instead of this being just a huge inconvenience, now I won't be able to watch my daughter's face as she walked into her new bedroom for the first time because I was stuck at my previous home until this ridiculous moving company showed up. They ended up moving our home until well after 10pm and then proceeded to charge us EXTRA for the move. They claimed we had more stuff than they initially agreed to and that it took longer than expected. After forgetting to put us on the schedule after they sent us a confirmation email for the correct day and time and making me miss an important moment in my child's life, THEY HAD THE NERVE TO REFUSE THE DISCOUNT AND CHARGE US EXTRA! This is not a made up story no matter how crazy it sounds. Unfortunately it really happened and I'm pretty sure I'm not the first customer that's gone through this. This company is dishonest and disorganized plain and simple. This is not how a trustworthy and successful moving business is run and this is not how you treat customers if you want any kind of return business. There are PLENTY of other movers out there. Any one of them would be better than this place.
