Awesome! I was blown away by how well the entire project turned out. Everyone was on time and kept us informed throughout the process. The kitchen turned out looking like a million bucks, I'm beyond pleased. You guys ROCK!

Niel was a complete professional. You can really tell he and his crew truly care about your project. He was very responsive. Took the time to help me understand the costs. Not pushy at all. Completely felt like he was here to inform me about my project more than the typical, heres your quote this is what it will cost. You can tell he has a lot of experience with home improvements/repairs. His crew was very respectful of our home and worked very quickly. Thanks for taking care of us! If you are considering any home improvements give Niel a call, cant speak highly enough of him and his work.

Overview: The work was well done, but it was much more expensive than expected and the overall experience was stressful and difficult. Once the work finally started, the construction manager was incredible. He did an excellent job and listened/responded to our requests and concerned. Getting to that point, however, was not at all easy or smooth. The new bathroom is beautiful but I'm not at all sure it was worth all the hassle and the hefty price tag! 1) When we initially talked with the project manager, she saw no problem with what we wanted, and when the owner, a construction manager, and the project manager came out to see the work site, there was no mention of a problem. However, we suddenly got a letter saying they had decided against doing the project -- no explanation whatsoever. We had to speak directly with the owner to get an answer -- it was not feasible. No discussion prior to their decision. 2) After we changed our plans, they approved the project and we began looking at fixtures and ceramic tiles they recommended. We were stunned when we received the estimate, which was significantly higher than we'd anticipated and provided absolutely no detail whatsoever. We requested repeatedly to have a more detailed estimate, especially of prices for things over which we had control (selection of tiles, fixtures, options) and were finally provided with a breakdown of some of the costs but not what we were after. We had to go on-line to get the prices of the fixtures and visit the distributor to get prices on the tiles (and discovered a vastly less expensive option for the decorative tile than what we were offered at the Peacock office). We also were able to modify our selection of fixtures to less expensive options, but only after realizing the high cost of what they had suggested. 3) They also seem to have a problem with turnover of employees: we started with one project manager, who then left and was replaced with another before the project was even scheduled. Three months later, we noticed some issues with the shower doors and discovered that project manager #2 has also left, so we're dealing with #3. Each has been responsive and helpful, just not long-term! The worst occurrence was when, only 24 hours after meeting with the owner, project manager, and the person slated to do the work (and the evening before constructions was to begin), we were told that the the construction manager had quit that afternoon. As a result, we had a 10 day delay in getting the project started, after an earlier delay of a week. 4) Once the project was started with a new construction manager, it progressed smoothly and the work was done very well -- we were pleased with his work and his oversight of the subcontractors. 5) As others have commented, the owner truly is his own worst enemy when it comes to overall customer satisfaction!

I never had work done before and these guys were for the most part very professional. There were times I thought they should be there, but they were waiting on electrician to finish his work. And then the plumber. Overall the work was done a week later than what they originally said. After talking to others who have had that much work done, I guess I was lucky it wasn't a month. There were a couple of things that they finished up on later, like my outdoor light and the electrical coverings. Over all I have to give them a (-A)

I would hire this service again in a heartbeat. I am extremely pleased with the work that was done as well as the courtesy and cleanliness at the time of service. They were very upfront about the time frame and cost of the project. All the workers were so polite and understanding of my dogs in the house. Really nice people. I wouldn't have cared if they all were named Darryl and had hung around for another couple of weeks. :)

The job went really well he started on January 4 and was done less then two weeks. He gutted my whole bathroom putting in new walls, shower, vanity and floors. I had a really out dated bathroom I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it he even gave me some good ideas and it came out great! Thanks Justin!

    American Kitchen & Bath
The contractor was someone that was recommended by A K & B.   American Kitchen and Bath had the contractor come back and take care of some issues I had with the tile.  (The grout residue had not been cleaned off the tiles.)  I was going to do it myself and called A K & B to see if they had a product that would clean the tile.  When they found out who the contractor was, they said that they would make sure he came back out to take care of the problem.  I had some other issues as well, so I would not use this contractor again.

Don was willing to come out and speak with me and work with my home warranty company when other companies weren't. He showed up promptly, spoke with my home warranty company, and got right to work. I thought I had a slow draining sink issue, but he showed me exactly why it was draining slowly, and what I needed to do instead. In addition to fixing my toilet issues, he also added some caulk to my bathroom sink to affix it to the cabinet while he was here.
Don was very nice and professional, and I am happy with his service. I will definitely call him again for any future issues requiring a plumber.
