the project took 8 months from start to finish, we are extremely pleased with the quality of work and craftsmanship detail. With any major projects issues come up that we were not planning on but the crew gave us different options and we worked through the problem. We would highly recommend Jay and his team. Always on time with clean up nightly was appreciated

Ceilings turned out very good. The walls previously were textured with alot of holes and cracks. They suggested skimming all the walls. This was a disaster. They looked better before anything was done to them. Afterwards when they were told how bad the walls looked, they said it would have taken another coat to make them smooth at extra cost. This was not told to us in the beginning. It was a very botched job. We even had another contractor tell us how bad of a job it was.

Awesome! I was blown away by how well the entire project turned out. Everyone was on time and kept us informed throughout the process. The kitchen turned out looking like a million bucks, I'm beyond pleased. You guys ROCK!

I would hire this service again in a heartbeat. I am extremely pleased with the work that was done as well as the courtesy and cleanliness at the time of service. They were very upfront about the time frame and cost of the project. All the workers were so polite and understanding of my dogs in the house. Really nice people. I wouldn't have cared if they all were named Darryl and had hung around for another couple of weeks. :)

We were fortunate to get Jonathan between 2 bigger jobs so he was able to fit us in almost immediately.  No snags or problems.  He was done in about a week and a half, but it probably would have been sooner if he didn't have to wait for the plaster to dry between layers.

In and out in three days, and stuck to his estimate. Which was a good price. His crew was polite and courteous of my family and were on time and cleaned up after themselves. Herb left the scaffolding an extra day so I could paint the area needed ;)

    Quality Home Improvement
We had used Quality Home Improvement (Joe and Diane Rerick) for the remodeling of our two full and one half baths between fall 2014 and Feb. 2015.  We knew, through the course of the remodeling, that Joe did excellent work in construction, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and finishing, so we did not hesitate to have him do this work also.  The kitchen drywall repairs involved two holes in walls, and four ceiling areas that had been damaged by leaks in the  bathrooms above.  Joe expertly repaired the wall holes and prepared them for future painting.  The kitchen has a textured ceiling and Joe even managed to match the texturing in all of the areas he repaired.  While installing a new exhaust fan in the main bath, Joe discovered that the exhaust fans for both full bathrooms on  the second floor, were not vented to the outside, but simply up into the attic.  He installed vents to the outside on both fans.  I also noticed that the vent on our dryer was worn out, damaged and causing an accumulation of lint.   Joe replaced it for us.  His plumbing skills came into use when we had a water line in the basement begin to leak where a small pinhole had developed.  He did a great job on all of these for us.

This is the third bathroom remodel done by Quality Home Improvement (Joe and Diane Rerick).  The ceramic tile floor in this bathroom was particularly intricate and detailed.  Joe did a meticulous job in first dry fitting and then installing this flooring.  All patterns are equidistant from the walls, which required real craftsmanship.  As has now been our experience with Joe and Diane all was professionally done from start to finish.  We could not have asked for any better work to be done.

Fantastic! First, let me say that from the moment David Sipp, (franchise owner) walked in my door and put "booties" on I was impressed.  Everyone I met and who did work for us were always polite, professional and conscientious. We struggled with having every room painted and the bath remodeled since we had just moved in, were trying to get acclimated and also manage two small dogs (who could have easily gotten stepped on or loose, as workers were in and out constantly for almost 2 weeks)
We tried to keep them out of everyone's way, that being said, all the technicians were kind and careful with and around our dogs, this helped us relax a little bit as you can imagine this was a very stressful time for us.
I also appreciated the attitude of the workers in general, everyday they started on time with a "happy to be here" smile on their faces and the attitude continued all day, everyday until the work was completed.  They stayed on the job everyday, different people doing different things, but we were always told who would be there each day and what they planned on accomplishing that day.
I was asked about certain things as well as offered creative suggestions, as in the case of the tile work in the bathroom and fixing the crown molding. They could just as easily proceeded with the project as planned but instead felt confident enough with their abilities and working relationship with the company owner to offer suggestions.
As far as pricing goes, I saw comments on Angie's list about the pricing being high and was a little concerned.  But I have to say, once I understood how charges were figured and saw how hard the guys worked (I never saw anyone sitting around or hardly taking a break all day) and the quality of the work,  I felt that I paid a fair price for the great job I got.
I also have to say that the technicians all seemed to do little extra things that went beyond what you would ever expect.  Some offering suggestions, everyone making very little mess but still cleaning up everyday, others fixing little things they found here and there.  (but of course if we added projects we knew we would be adding to the total cost)
However, I have to call out one tech in particular, Ty (which I may have misspelled) but he went above and beyond, not just once but everyday with this particular situation being exemplary.  There was alot of trash on trash day and several bags which were heavy with mudding/grout material from the tile work, one of the trash collectors dropped a bag and white dried mudding/grout material went all over, causing a real mess and they just left the mess.  I was so upset, getting a dust pan and broom but by the time I got out there to clean it up Ty had it almost completely cleaned up. We didn't even have a hose but he carried two 5 gallon buckets of water out to the end of the driveway to try to wash it down better.  So, all I have to say is WOW, who does this?!  And thank you again, Ty!
We are enjoying our freshly painted new home and beautiful bathroom very much, and want to thank everyone who worked for us.  We look forward to a continued relationship with Mr. Handyman as we will have them do everything for us from now on.
