I never had work done before and these guys were for the most part very professional. There were times I thought they should be there, but they were waiting on electrician to finish his work. And then the plumber. Overall the work was done a week later than what they originally said. After talking to others who have had that much work done, I guess I was lucky it wasn't a month. There were a couple of things that they finished up on later, like my outdoor light and the electrical coverings. Over all I have to give them a (-A)

It went very well! Joe even sent me links to the storm doors he suggested & where to find them! He knew what he was doing and it only took about 3 hours to complete with the help of his wife. I honestly wish I would have had him perform the work on the other small projects he quoted me.

Fantastic! First, let me say that from the moment David Sipp, (franchise owner) walked in my door and put "booties" on I was impressed.  Everyone I met and who did work for us were always polite, professional and conscientious. We struggled with having every room painted and the bath remodeled since we had just moved in, were trying to get acclimated and also manage two small dogs (who could have easily gotten stepped on or loose, as workers were in and out constantly for almost 2 weeks)
We tried to keep them out of everyone's way, that being said, all the technicians were kind and careful with and around our dogs, this helped us relax a little bit as you can imagine this was a very stressful time for us.
I also appreciated the attitude of the workers in general, everyday they started on time with a "happy to be here" smile on their faces and the attitude continued all day, everyday until the work was completed.  They stayed on the job everyday, different people doing different things, but we were always told who would be there each day and what they planned on accomplishing that day.
I was asked about certain things as well as offered creative suggestions, as in the case of the tile work in the bathroom and fixing the crown molding. They could just as easily proceeded with the project as planned but instead felt confident enough with their abilities and working relationship with the company owner to offer suggestions.
As far as pricing goes, I saw comments on Angie's list about the pricing being high and was a little concerned.  But I have to say, once I understood how charges were figured and saw how hard the guys worked (I never saw anyone sitting around or hardly taking a break all day) and the quality of the work,  I felt that I paid a fair price for the great job I got.
I also have to say that the technicians all seemed to do little extra things that went beyond what you would ever expect.  Some offering suggestions, everyone making very little mess but still cleaning up everyday, others fixing little things they found here and there.  (but of course if we added projects we knew we would be adding to the total cost)
However, I have to call out one tech in particular, Ty (which I may have misspelled) but he went above and beyond, not just once but everyday with this particular situation being exemplary.  There was alot of trash on trash day and several bags which were heavy with mudding/grout material from the tile work, one of the trash collectors dropped a bag and white dried mudding/grout material went all over, causing a real mess and they just left the mess.  I was so upset, getting a dust pan and broom but by the time I got out there to clean it up Ty had it almost completely cleaned up. We didn't even have a hose but he carried two 5 gallon buckets of water out to the end of the driveway to try to wash it down better.  So, all I have to say is WOW, who does this?!  And thank you again, Ty!
We are enjoying our freshly painted new home and beautiful bathroom very much, and want to thank everyone who worked for us.  We look forward to a continued relationship with Mr. Handyman as we will have them do everything for us from now on.

    WOODSHOP, INC
They were awesome and receive A ratings across the board.  The were very easy to work with, conscientious about budget (and actually came in under the estimate) and were willing to change plans or add things as we went along with the renovation without any difficulty.  The quality of work is superb- with much attention to detail.  I will absolutely use them again when the next project comes along!

Could not be more pleased. In fact, the windows look better than I imagined. I have had friends inspect the work and each one indicated how much quality was in the windows and the installation. I will have Big C replace all windows.

    JD Holm & Sons
I had a very compressed timetable for this job and they performed everything from start to finish in just over 3 days, even working around my dog. Cleaned up after themselves every night. Pleasant and stress free experience.

Crew arrived on time, worked all day, each day and cleaned up when done.  They were working on the 2nd floor and I have an office in the basement.  Most of the time I didn't know they were there.  They tore down the old partial wall, including the original tiled shower, the floor and the drywall on the walls & ceiling.  All of the plumbing was redone, pressure and waste and a new floor installed.  I decided to change to shower fixture position after work had started from the middle of the wall to an angle area at the entrance to assure that the water would stay in the shower area and not the dry-off area.  They accommodated me with no delay or additional cost.  They built the vanity top in their office to assure that it would fit properly in the new vanity area.  The shower area is completely tiled, floor and walls and works as well as I had hoped.  They installed the new door, painted the room and tiled the floor.  I have been completely satisfied with the project.

    INSURED SERVICES
Overall, I am pleased with the work, he had a lot of work cut out for him with this job. The garage looks super nice.  He does seem to pride himself on being slow, as he told me many times over that he is slow but takes care of his customers. I did not think he was all that slow considering the extent of job that needed to be done, but I do not have any prior experience as to how long such a project would normally take! The job took right about 30 days from start to finish. He cleaned up really well after himself , nothing left behind , I was happy with that. During our final "walk through" we noticed a miniscule dent in the service door and I was willing to let it go, but he was not and replaced the door with a new one, that was very nice of him. I am happy with the services performed. Thanks Johnathon!
