    EverDRY of Michiana
For years we have had water seeping through a crack in our lower level family room.  All my attempts to correct this problem did not work.  We contacted Everdry and they responded promptly and provided us with the needed solution and a reasonable cost estimate.  The work was done soon after.  It entailed trenching along the front of our house and putting a barrier along the wall to prevent water from entering.  The work was done in one day and the cleanup and replacement of some ground covers was done to my satisfaction.  We have been completely satisfied with the solution and work done by Everdry.  If you have a water problem, you should consider contacting Everdry.   Jim & Jane DeWinter

I never had work done before and these guys were for the most part very professional. There were times I thought they should be there, but they were waiting on electrician to finish his work. And then the plumber. Overall the work was done a week later than what they originally said. After talking to others who have had that much work done, I guess I was lucky it wasn't a month. There were a couple of things that they finished up on later, like my outdoor light and the electrical coverings. Over all I have to give them a (-A)

    3D Structural
3 D promptly responded to my quote request. A very professional gentlemen came to look at the issue. He was right on time. He looked at the problem area and at the inside walls and floor structure and determined it was not an addition on the house but the way the house was built. He also determined it was not a structural issue but just a cosmetic issue. He gave us several suggestions that were very helpful. This was very much appreciated. Thank you for your honesty and integrity. This person could have told me anything and I would not have known better. Great company I was impressed by his honesty

Initially with our 1st 40 yard dumpster ($451) we had no issues.  We rented an excavator for the weekend and tore down our garage and breezeway and got everything removed with no overages or damage issues.  So, we needed another dumpster for our concrete removal of the garage and breezeway floors so naturally we just used IRS again.  My husband contacted IRS and asked for another dumpster and explained it was for concrete removal.  IRS sent another 40 yard dumpster ($451).  We rented another excavator for the weekend and put the concrete in the dumpster that they sent.  When we called to get the dumpster removed they told us that it was too heavy and that we would have to lighten it and we were charged $71 just to approximately travel 5 miles to our house (fuel charges from McKinley & Ash to our home on Jefferson & Bittersweet...didn't know gas was that expensive).  We had already returned the excavator and tried to explain to IRS that we told them it was for concrete removal so why send a 40 yard dumpster when we couldn't fill all 40 yards.  IRS argued with us that we didn't tell them it was for concrete, but my husband (who called in to rent it) clearly remembers them asking what it was for and him telling them concrete removal.  Needless to say horrible communication between secretaries and customers.  Their solution was that we had to pay for a 20 yard dumpster on top of the 40 yard one we already paid for, just to split our concrete in half.  We did not feel it was fair to pay for a 40 yard and a 20 yard when our total amount was still the original 40 yards of concrete.  We did speak to a very nice driver who told us about concrete only dumpsters that were half the cost of a typical trash removal dumpster ($190).  We were grateful to hear about this, but at the same time even more frustrated that when we contacted IRS for a dumpster for concrete removal we were not informed about this by their secretaries.  We rented another excavator for the weekend (putting our progress behind a weekend) and took out half of the concrete and put it in a 20 yard concrete only dumpster.  Both dumpsters were picked up (neither was too heavy for their truck this time) and we thought our nightmare was over.  We were wrong.  They contacted us claiming damage to the dumpster that we saw was there when it was delivered and a weight overage on the 40 yard dumpster that we removed 20 yards of concrete from ($343.20).  We do not believe that what we left in the dumpster caused it to be over weight, but we had no way to prove it so being the honest people we are we just paid the charge and vow to NEVER USE IRS AGAIN!  Dumpsters that should have only cost us $902 (our two 40 yard dumpsters) ended up costing $1506.20 (our two 40 yard dumpsters, concrete dumpster, travel fee, and weight overages) plus another weekend rental of an excavator just to split the concrete into 2 dumpsters.  I do not recommend IRS for dumpster rental and if you find yourself using them record your phone conversations and take pictures of everything!

Rep came out told us because of problem with porch design couldn't level it, but noticed intersecting crack in garage floor. Did evaluation and found chipmunks had dug a large den under the garage floor. Without the reps detection, the garage floor would have eventually collapsed. They were responsive and came out about a week later to do the fill. The crew was professional, helped moved some items that we had not, and cleaned up after themselves. Glad we hired them.

    Nova Basement Systems
We were having issues with water coming up from under the floor and covering a fair amount of the floor in our unfinished basement.  After getting a quotation from Everdry, we decided to get a second opinion..  Everdry had quoted over $25,000 for a large amount of work to be completed in our basement (exterior excavation, interior sealing, new drain tile etc.).  Nova sent their rep in and after some inspection determined the major issue was that the sump pump was not set to start up at the right time and the existing drain tile was not draining.  He recommended a new sump pump ($500) and a dehumidifier ($1,200) as it was a little musty in our basement.  If that did not fix the problem, he had a stage 2 and stage 3 plan if needed (all three stages combined were still less work and cost than the Everdry quote).  We decided to go with their plan to start.  Their installer was in exactly on time and completed the work in a few hours as quoted.  The new sump ran pretty continuously for the next few days and since then it looks like the sump and dehumidifier was really all we needed.  We have had one small leak over the past year in a different area and Nova recommended either adding a small bit of connecting drain tile to fix the issue, or adding a small channel to the floor to allow the water to drain to the sump.  Nova was very upfront about our issues and did not try to oversell us.  I would highly recommend Nova and have to others.
Please make sure you get multiple quotations for work like this and don't be pressured to sign a contract before you have multiple quotations (Everdry is a very hard sell company and will try to get you to sign something the same day - don't do it), we saved ourselves over $20,000 by just making a second call

    Accurate Basement Repair
Accurate Basement Repairs hand dug the exterior foundation to prevent potential damage to the front of our home.  They realigned the foundation wall and installed steel beams to reinforce the foundations structure.  They also installed a sump pump as a preventive measure even though water in the basement had not been an issue.  As part of the service they addressed a minor issue in another area of the basement again as a preventive measure.  The work was done when promised, in a professional manner with all debris removed daily and for the cost quoted on the front end.  Chris and his team went out of their way to educate us as to the repair to be made and they were extremely easy to work with.  I'd recommend Accurate Basement Repair to anyone dealing with a foundation repair issue.
