    moved back in 2012 and no longer needed service, although the wire system was fairly easily uninstalled, still had the 3 year contract to wait out at $49/month. if i chose service again in the future, will be willing to pay more without contract commitments.

    I was very impressed with the salesman I spoke to on the phone. We discussed my specific needs and he built a system that met them. He really talked up the interactive features of the system and that was one of the main features that appealed to me. However, the monitoring cost was too expensive in my opinion. There was a cheaper monitoring option but it did not include the interactive features. However, when I mentioned I was an Angie's List member, he told me I would get the interactive monitoring service for the price of the cheaper plan. I was sold. He gave me a 60 day free trial period as well. 
    The system arrived in a timely manner and was easy to install and use. We have been very happy with it. However, once the 60 day trial was up, we realized that our interactive features were no longer working. I called the company and they said that I was paying for the cheaper plan and that did not include the interactive features. I explained the deal the salesman had offered and they said there was no such deal. They offered to give me a 6 month trial of the interactive features but I was not happy with that. I was sold a 3 year plan including interactive features and that's what I wanted. I had to go up the chain of command but finally I got a supervisor that agreed to honor the deal the salesman had sold me. I appreciate that they were willing to honor the deal, even though if seems that the salesman made a mistake. 
    We have been very happy with the service thus far.

    They called me the same day and had someone out to my house the next day! Theo was there to try to do a system takeover to save me some $$$ and the system was from the 90's. He gave every effort to get some of the sensors to work, but they were just too old and outdated. We talked about my options and we decided a whole new system install was the best way to go. I got the $20 deal for a system plus 12 points of security protection. I had to add 5 extra sensors to cover all of the house, so the total ended up being around $300, which is cheap considering all I got. I only had to sign a 3 year agreement (most are 5 years). This is how customers should be treated. They earn your business and don't try to tick you or scare you for their business. I plan on being a customer of theirs for a very long time. Highly recommend!!

    My experience with Guardme started out as a very frustrating experience.  After discussing issues with the Sales and Operations department, my situation was forwarded to the President of the company.  While initially I felt like no one cared, the President went above and beyond to make things right.  They were successful in making a frustrated customer very happy.  Thanks to Craig, Navid and Richard for making me a very satisfied customer.  Also should say that the subcontractors they used in the second installation were very thorough, professional and accommodating.

    I am very pleased with OnGuard performance as they arrived at the appointed time and did excellent work.  The cost was reasonable as some sensors were provided in addition to connecting others.  The technician was qualified and proficient.  He was able to use our previously installed security panel by diligently trying numerous passwords.  He wore shoe covers to keep our carpets clean and picked up any discarded materials.  He explained the function of the system and how it works.  The job was completed in less than 4 hours.  I will definitely recommend OnGuard to others.

    Technician arrived on time and installed a new control panel, and motion detector.  He was not aware that he was also to install the smoke detector, so had to reschedule to install it.  He gave me a users guide for the control panel, which I later discovered contains information on several control panels and is difficult to follow.  He briefly went through operation of the system, but seemed very hurried.  The same technician returned a few days later to install the smoke detector.
    After about 6 weeks, I have an "open" alert that continuously displays on my control panel.  This is showing that "zone 2" (a bedroom window) is open, even though it is not open.  I called Alliance Protection Systems, since I am unable to arm the security system with a zone open.  They tried to bypass this zone, but I am still unable to arm the system for "stay", when I am home.  Since I am able to arm it in the "away" mode (when no one is home), they were unwilling to send a technician out, until the technician who did the original install was available.  Unfortunately for me, he was "out of town" the entire week, so I have now been without an alarm system for several days, and am still trying to get a technician scheduled to get my alarm system working.
    I have left numerous messages, but Alliance Protection does not return my calls.  I have called ADT corporate, who referred me to the ADT Corporate Dealer Helpline, in hopes that someone would be able to help me get a response from their dealer, but after talking with 6 different people there (in 3 days), no one there will return calls or follow through with their promise that, "someone from Alliance Protection will be calling within 24 hours".  ADT corporate "cannot get involved", since I am stuck with their dealer for the first 90 days.  Really... isn't ADT concerned about their dealer reliability and customer satisfaction!
    Oh and by the way, Alliance Protection Systems isn't even located in Indianapolis... it is in Phoenix AZ.  I thought I was getting a local dealer that would be available to help me if problems arose, but that's not the case.  Poor customer service from a company three time zones away... this is probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced.
    If you are considering using Alliance Protection Systems or ADT... be smart & look elsewhere... I wish I had!!!
