    Terry came out the very day I called, diagnosed the problem, and was very informative and professional. He needed a replacement part that was in the warehouse, so he said he would be out the next day, Saturday, between 8-8:30 am. He was very prompt and fixed the dryer! I was extremely pleased with AA and would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone!

    It didn't take long to get an appointment. He quickly solved the ice build-up problem in the freezer drawer and ascertained that we needed a new ice maker. The next day he called with an estimate for the ice maker replacement. I was lucky as the parts cost under $100. The work was scheduled a couple days later. Steve and his assistant arrived in the allotted time frame. The repair was made. My bill was extremely reasonable for the two services. I will definitely hire again if needed and may end up shopping at his store should have an appliance need to be replaced. You can't get this kind of service from a big box store.

    I called on Thursday, March 16. They said they could have someone out Monday, March 20 between 1pm and 5pm. Received a phone call within that timeframe to say the technician was on his way. He arrived in a timely manner. Found the issue and had the repair done within an hour on a top of a couple of other issues that would have made me have to call them out in the future. He could have kept that information under his hat and then charged me again at a later date, but he didn't which I very much appreciated. He even gave me a chance to tidy up behind the refrigerator (an area that rarely sees the light of day) before he pushed the fridge back in place!

    I had this company come to repair my washer and over.  The front desk is extremely kind, the technician is extremely kind, and the owner was completely rude and unprofessional.  He told me he did not care if I called someone else to do the work.  When I had asked him if he could take off three days of work like they expect me to do his reply was "yes because I am the owner."  I will NEVER do business with them again.  I am in customer service and I was stunned at his behavior.

    Our washer wouldn't finish a cycle and wouldn't drain the water, so we called Steve's Appliance Repair as we have done business with them in the past.  Steve came over the same day and diagnosed the problem, went and got the part, and replaced it.  He tested it briefly and we thought we were done with it.  Later that evening we started a load of clothes and began to have the same problem again.  The next day I called for him to come check it again and after testing it he couldn't replicate the problem we kept having.  After having the same problem for the third time and a third visit to our house he said he couldn't find anything else mechanical wrong with it, but stated that often the front loading washers have problems with the computer boards.  We opted to just buy a new washer (a top loader) and moved on.  We had done some prior business with Steve, and were satisfied, but unfortunately this time he just couldn't get it repaired.  We will consider doing business with him again depending on the appliance and type or work to be done.

    The provider arrived promptly and was able to tell within minutes what the problem was with our dishwasher. They ordered a new motor and gave us an estimated date to return. They ended up getting the part and returning ahead of schedule. The repair was done quickly and professionally. I would recommend them to anyone needing appliance repairs.

    BRAD'S APPLIANCE SERVICE
    The first repair call was August 11, 2013.  The tech was very thorough and diagnosed the problem as needing a new water valve.  He said he would place the order and it would probably be in the following Monday.  I waited over a week and called for an update on the order.  Left a message, with no return call.  This happened at least twice.........no return call.  Finally, they did call to say that the part was in and scheduled a time to install it.  I was satisfied with the work, but it took a month for the part to come in and be replaced.  I was mostly dissatisfied with not returning my calls and the tech said they'd been very busy.  My dryer has been squeaking, so I placed a call to Brad's last Saturday leaving a message explaining the problem and asking them to return my call as soon as possible.  It's been almost a week and no return call. I have used Brad's Repair Service numerous times in the past and been very pleased with their work but will not be calling them again because of their lack of response.

    Billy did a good job of quickly finding out what the problem was and explained in detail what was occurring as the machine was about 10 years old and slowing giving out.  He did not charge an extra trip charge for the drive out here which was much appreciated.

    Overall, I'd say it was about a B grade.  The receptionist was nice but would not give any approximate estimates over the phone; I was needing to know this to figure out if it would be worth getting fixed at all (other companies called were kind enough to give a ballpark figure on how much it would cost).  The serviceman was friendly, helpful, and answered questions well.  He said someone would mail me receipts on the work done but I never received any.  The freezer is working very well now.

    UPDATE: After submitting my report of work done in June, 2011, a person from  Grove's Appliance Repair called and said that they read my report from Angie's List and apologized for not sending the receipts and then sent the receipts out in a timely fashion.  I sure did appreciate the follow-up on that and the apology.  That was nice.
