    Everything worked great for a little more than two weeks, but then it all went to heck.
    On 3/5, I went to use the phone to check on incoming bad weather and found the phone was deactivated.
    Over the next 8 days, I called Net10 customer support five times and talked to 10 different associates over three different levels.  I logged close to 5 hours of time on the calls.  Three times they said the phone would be working in 24 hours, and once they said 48.
    Customer support is off-shored.  The associates really don't know how to handle questions that are "off the script."  I'm somewhat technical, so I kept  asking for details about the issue with the phone.  The only thing they could really tell me was "there's an error on the account."  If they tell you that someone is going to work on the issue and it will be fixed in 24 or 48 hours, it's nothing more than a delay tactic.  Each time I called after the first, they went through the same exact procedure and repeatedly asked the same questions.  They were unable to tell me what had been done since the previous call.
    When the last 24-hour fix didn't happen, I demanded a refund.   It's been promised.  We'll see if they deliver.  I have my doubts.

    ROBIN BRANDENBURG DANCE STUDIO
    At the beginning, all was well.  Ms. Brandenburg was very nice.  Then she began to get very frustrated with the young children in my daughter's class, including my 5 year old.  She got upset because they couldn't remember a dance term or because my daughter was tugging on the strap of her leotard and she threatened to "send her back to the baby class," etc.  After two weeks of this I decided to pull my daughter from the class.  My daughter didn't know how to react in Ms. Brandenburg's presence.  She never knew if she was to laugh or if she was in trouble.  I didn't expect a dance teacher to treat my daughter is this way, so we left.  Then I was told to pay a 30 dollar cancelation fee plus for an entire month of services when we had only attended 2 weeks.  I have paid what I owe Ms. Brandenburg--2 weeks of classes plus the 30 cancelation fee.  She has sent me to collections.  It was a terrible experience.

    They do not have patient service as they do not have in-patients. Generally their services are excellent. They are pretty much on time on everything. One need not wait. The staff is nice and friendly and everything seems to be on time. Expectations seem to be very good. They seem to keep changing the account number every time you use a new service. They bill the account number by the service. Each service provider gets a new account number for some reason.

    Comcast
    Comcast has an up and down service.  One day they are great and the next day they are down.  They have the remotes there.  The people who talk to us is not local and that is problematic I think.  But the service people are local which is fine.  Probably the biggest problem is when we have a problem and we call them they think it is a problem in our end and then they take their time to realize that the problem is at their end and not at our end.  This has been the case for many years and they have not changed.  We have had the opportunity to change to other providers for TV services but the rest of the services are pretty high to come by.  Comcast is packaged very well and they are the biggest provider and that is biggest advantage they have.  In total their service is pretty good.  In terms of up time, but they are not quick to respond which is not acceptable.  Sometimes I have a service date of 3 to 5 days is the soonest they can get to you which is not acceptable when they have internet service and telephone all with one provider.  Their actual service itself is pretty good.  They are there on time when they say so.  They are pretty good in terms of how they treat the customer when they are talking to them.  They are trained well talking to a high rate customer which I am.  They do a pretty good job of that.  We have not changed so I guess we will continue to use them.

    Mobile TV Repair
    Never do business with AB Sales. I believe this business is a partnership between Mark Robinson and Adam Barnes although it appears they go to great lengths to hide their identity. They never give their name when you call them and you can rarely get in touch with them as they use answering machines to screen their calls. Thus far, I have been unable to find either of their names in the phone book. They use 2 phone numbers (812-637-3400 and 812-637-5797). I called them 10/3/08 to see if they could repair my 52 inch Samsung DLP TV. They came out on Sat., 10/4/08 and spent about 10 mins looking at the TV and said I needed a new color wheel although the person who came out never removed the back from the TV except the little plate where the lamp is located. I was told because of the expense of the part, $149.80, I would need to pay unfront. The total charge including the service call was $224.80. I was told the part should be in with 3 days. On Monday, 10/6/08, they cashed my check and that was the last time I saw them. I called them repeatedly and kept getting excuse after excuse with the most common one being the supplier was short on parts due to the wind storm from Hurricane Ike we experienced in Sept. A couple times I was told the part would be in on Mon., but didn't come in, then it would be in on Wed., and then Friday. Another time I was told the part was in and they would be out on Sat. to put it in, but then on Sat. when they didn't show and I called, I was told the wrong part was sent. I was told they were going to return the part and they would pay for an express delivery of the part and it should be in by Tues. Of course, I began asking for my money back, and once they even said they should probably go ahead and give it back but didn't. Several times I spoked to them and told them I wanted my money back and also left several messages on their answering machine to send my money back and left my address. The last time I spoke to them, I told them I was going to file a small claim against them and the guy told me I should, which was odd. I have reported them to the BBB. Of course, at this point, I have no faith I will get my money back from them but I just want to warn everybody to NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ABSALES. This business appears to be involved in a number of areas such as TV Repair, Car stereo installation and others. They are in yellow page listings for Lawrenceburg, Batesville and West Harrison as areas where they do business. From my personal experience, this business must just be a rip-off. Beware!
