I had an issue with a bill that they sent and I called their 1800 number and they were VERY responsive and helpful right away. I didn't have to push 12 buttons to get to an actual voice and the person was very genuine and caring.

When I arrived for my appointment, I informed the desk attendant we were self-pay (we do not have insurance) and asked her to look into the cost of the ultrasound. I arrived fifteen minutes early to my appointment so I would not stall the provider waiting for this information. Twenty five minutes later (ten minutes after my scheduled appointment time), the desk was still not able to provide me with an estimate of the cost of my services.
I was taken back to the ultrasound room, ten minutes after the start of my appointment, the tech had not prepared her workstation and spent the next eight minutes getting her paperwork in order and adjusting the machine. She then informed me the ultrasound would be twofold, transabdominal and transvaginal, and I declined the transvaginal. She was very disrespectful of my decision to decline the more invasive ultrasound and argued with me for the next five minutes. I persisted in my declination of the service.
When the ultrasound finally began, she turned the screen of the machine away from me (so I could not see it) and would not narrate what she was doing. At the end of the ultrasound, ten minutes later, she refused to give me the results or even a summary.
Fast forward a week and a half when I received a bill for $1,143. I am gobsmacked and presently fighting the bureaucracy to have the rate reduced to the reasonable and customary rate for Indianapolis, $320. Because I am not working through an insurance company, I have been told by their patient accounts representatives they "don't have to" reduce it to the UCR (usual, customary, and reasonable) rate and I have been given a 40% discount as a cash-pay patient which is "all [I] am entitled to."

I think they were very responsive, professional and very attentive to our needs. They explain and communicate well with us in terms of what the procedures they were doing and why and I think they are very thorough. They responded to our needs efficiently and quickly, it's what one would expect if it's an emergency and did what we would expect them to do in terms of care for the patient and communication in terms of what they are doing.

I find the workers to be courteous. Ive been with them so long they recognize me! I have used their telephone service to order and have also signed up for automatic refills. In general I am pleased with the service this particular CVS has provided me.

I left my change at the pharmacy and didnt realize it until later on in the day. I called back and the pharmacist actually held onto the money and told me I could come back in to pick it up. I was impressed with her honesty.

CVS is great because they are 24 hours and I am very familiar with the employees. They have assisted me on many things with AARP and Medicare and understanding my prescriptions. I will continue to use this drug store in the future.

They are cost effective. They have got outstanding pricing on the generic drugs. I am getting ready to go on Medicare plan in that it has a co-pay of $20 for each drug which is enough for me. That washes out most of the medications because I am spending like $10 on each medicines and I have to take only 2 medicines. One of my medicines dropped in price because its now available as generic drug. I will probably be getting it for a discounted price soon. If you have a plan which has $20 to start with and if your drugs cost less than that then its good to pay for them and go. CVS has good pricing. I never had any problem with their generic drugs. I know both of their pharmacists on a first name basis. They are good people. If there is a problem then they will call you or if they have any concerns about a drug that the doctor has prescribed then they will call your doctor. I have witnessed it a couple of times myself. I have watched Bill a senior pharmacist counseling the patients. He will get on the phone and talk to the doctor if needed. Sometimes doctors make mistake while prescribing the medicines. I like his initiative. He is looking out for his customers. I have to take a drug which is considerably less expensive than the other one. I asked my physician why I shouldnt I be taking a certain drug instead of the other as the one costs me $60 for 90 days while the other one cost me $9.99 for every 90 days. My doctor said if thats what I wanted to do then he will put me on that medicine. My pharmacist told me there is no difference between these drugs as they are one and the same. He told me why I had to pay $60 while I could get the same drug for 1/6th the price. That pharmacist saved me money. When I was reviewing my options for medications with my health provider under Medicare I pointed out that I did not need a schedule D as none of my medicines were that expensive and they agreed with me.

I have nothing against them. To me all pharmacies are the same. They give generics whenever possible. Their communication is fine. They are a little slow. I call ahead so I don't have to stand around and wait. I don't have anyone to compare them to.

They call to let you know that they need to check with a doctor before they could refill a prescription. I appreciate having that convenience. I have found them to be good, and I can always speak with a pharmacist or someone in the department when I have a question.

They file insurance for you which is nice. If they write you a prescription you are right there to get it filled. They are open 7 days a week and have long hours. They are a lot more flexible than a doctors office and you can catch them after work. I have rarely had to wait over 10 minutes.
