    PRESTIGE CUSTOM STONE PRODUCTS
Everything was absolutely perfect, from start to finish. After choosing the style and manufacturer we wanted, we got quotes from three providers / installers. Prestige had the lowest quote, beating one competitor by about $500 and the other by nearly $2,000. The office personnel were congenial and helpful - setting up the order and determining scheduling were very quickly and easily accomplished. The individual sent to make the measurements was punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. He took time to explain everything he was doing and patiently answered every question we had. He went into great detail about our options for corner shape, beveling, cutouts, and joints. The installers were also punctual. We were given a 4 hour window for their arrival and they showed up a few minutes before the earliest time stated. Their experience and professionalism were quite evident. They were precise in their cutting and alignment and used specialized equipment to hold the joints together while the adhesive cured. As a result, the seams are perfect - virtually invisible and blended in well with the countertop. Every person we dealt with was respectful, friendly, and worked hard to make sure we were comfortable and happy with their work. We are quite pleased and completely satisfied with our countertop and would definitely recommend Prestige to measure, cut, and install a countertop.

    A Dependable Custom Carpentry, Inc.
It went great. We have called him back for several jobs: roof the house, build a new large garage, (from ground up), replace doors, windows, gutters, facia, he built new overhangs for our front and back doors, he built a custom new shower with a beautiful tile design, three skylights also that we enjoy every day and he did drywall work for us.

Work that was done was poor, some work said they could do, they couldn't. Owed refund but was nearly impossible to get. Poor service. Poor professional courtesy. Work sloppy and incomplete. Still owes us money which we will never see. I would highly recommend not paying for the work until the work is done.

    HAVMACK CONSTRUCTION INC
It was frustrating. I made an appointment for 9:30 a.m. and no one called or showed up. I waited all morning and when I finally gave up on anyone from Havmack showing up someone arrived unexpectedly at 12:30 p.m. He was invited in to see the bathroom so he could provide me an estimate. A few days went by and I heard nothing. I called the company asking when I would receive the estimate and if it could be emailed to me to expedite the process. I was told they would email the estimate soon. I waited. A few days later I still had not heard anything. I called again. This time I was told an estimate still had not been written up and I would need to wait a few more days because they were busy. When I called a week earlier they should have advised me that in addition to being 3 hours late to see the property I should also expect to wait a week or more for an estimate. Tom seemed to be annoyed with me for calling again and not realizing he was too busy with other jobs to provide me an estimate in a timely fashion. The attitude he gave me and frustration I was experiencing while trying to get an estimate led me to feel that hiring them, which I was previously intent on doing as soon as possible, might also be a headache. I told Tom that since he was too busy to provide me the promised estimate in a timely fashion not to worry about it. He didnt seem to care about losing the job or wasting a week of my time.

    Apex Construction & Remodeling
This company falls over backwards for you! Starting with the owner Scott. He bent over backwards to get the remodeling done before Christmas. It was done Dec. 23rd! The workers Ken and Albert was so considerate, pleasant and helpful. I have two handicapped people living here and they went over and above to lend a hand with them! They helped one bring laundry upstairs. They helped get my husband into the SUV when it was icy outside. They put some salt down for me and so much more! They were very concerned and caring about their workmanship! They arrived on time and left in a timely manner. They were keeping us informed about there progress. We had to wait some on the door and in the meantime they put in a plastic curtain so that the shower could be used. Augie and Edger put the door in and were pleasant as well. They used Adams Plumbing for the plumbing work and I feel bad I don't remember his name, but he too was awesome! Very pleased with their work! I would definitely use them again!

    WOODSHOP, INC
Let me start by saying that the quote that I got from the Woodshop was the most expensive for the project of remodeling my kitchen, but because the Woodshop had a good reputation based on reviews on Angie List, Houzz.com, and word of mouth I made the decision to contract with them for the job. I cant begin to explain how disappointed I am with the whole experience. In an effort to keep this from becoming too long I will highlight the main areas of concern below: - There were things that I was told prior to signing the contract which ended up being untrue or not honored by the Woodshop, The items were not important to the completion of the job but I feel it is worth mentioning. - There was a definite lack of communication from the Woodshop on important issues such as scheduling, project delays, and problem resolution. - There was also a lack of communication within the Woodshop. There were instances in which staff was not aware of important project details, which in some cases affected materials ordering. In addition, there were scheduling issues that resulted from the lack of communication within the company. - The design for the kitchen contained a flaw in the spacing of the cabinets that would not allow for the dishwasher door to open fully. It would open about two-thirds of the way and then come to rest on the side of the pantry cabinet. I was told it was because the unusual size of the dishwasher door (its a GE Profile). This was corrected by cutting back the pantry so now the door opens, but that caused other issues because the counter top installation was meant to be flush with the Pantry - The cut outs for the built in dishwasher and refrigerator are extremely tight. So tight that dishwasher hose was causing the dishwasher to be installed at an angle and the appliance installer had to replace the rubber insulation with a much thinner version so that the door would close properly. At one point the pressure from the refrigerator actually caused the side panel of the built in to detach leaving a gap in the cabinetry above the fridge and the side panel. I want to note hear that all appliance measurements were given to them months in advance. When I questioned the sizing of the built in I was told that the built-ins are designed to standard sizes, not to the fit of my appliances specifically. This makes me wonder why they needed the specs to the appliances that I purchased? - The finishes were rushed and sloppy. It took several return visits from the woodshop and I still had to hire another contractor to cleanup some of the sloppy work that was done. - To this point there has been a lack of follow up and concern from The Woodshop. There are still issues that I am working to resolve and I am beginning to believe that I am going to have to pay another contractor to complete. This really is just a summary of the bigger pain points experienced with this kitchen remodel. To be fair, my kitchen looks good, some things were done really well. It took some time, but my kitchen functions properly with only minor flaws, but it was a definite struggle to get to this point. One last note; The owner of The Woodshop can be very convincing when he is standing in your partially functioning kitchen asking for final payment. I would recommend that you hold off until you are completely satisfied with the work. My husband and I didnt.

    Henry Handyman
I know Henry from my cousin Annie 's 68th birthday party and this is my second time hiring him. Henry is a really polite honest person and easy to work with. Job is fabulous! He is helpful in providing cost- saving plans when possible . I have too many tiny jobs sometimes and nobody wants to come to give me a hand except Henry. He paints fast and clean with very reasonable price . After I mentioned some little flaw about the floor he agreed to come back to fix the problems . Well ,cannot say much else , Henry is not a person good at speech but his action proved his professional attitude .

Project took two weeks, workers were timely, friendly and excellent. Owner, Scott, was knowledgeable and creative, as we needed to think outside the box on this project (Worked around a slanted ceiling when installing a shower holster and custom shower curtain rod.)

Martens & Son Carpenter Contractors LLC
The company was very responsive.  He came to look the job over and measure one day and about a week later he arrived to install the two transitions.  He worked very quickly, cleaned up after himself as well.  Transitions look great.  He stained them to match the floors perfectly.  Job done, house sold today!

    .Removed and replaced concrete patio.
It has been two winters now and I'm happy. No cracks, drains away from house, no settling.
Performed the work as promised. Hauled away the old concrete, cleaned up after work was finished. Protected lawn and siding as work was performed.
Tom also recommended someone to do a small cedar deck and that worked out well.
