    American Basement Solutions
Vendor could provide foundation service, but not one of the other services we requested (simply not a service this vendor performs); we therefore chose a different path. Vendor provided a detailed and valuable foundation report that was essential towards our efforts, so we are very grateful for that. We will seriously consider this vendor for future work.

    Crawlspace Doctor
Matt and his team did an outstanding job. Matt arrived to review situation the same day I contacted him. He explained what needed done and answered my questions. He quoted and we moved forward. His team arrived the next day and completed the work as quoted and very quickly. I was impressed with their thoroughness and their attention to details. They also were very careful with minimizing any dirt or disruption to the house while coming and going into the basement to work. I highly recommend this company.

    Complete Restoration Services, Inc.

We had checked on our sump pump area, in our basement, during some recent rains. It was running a lot, but was keeping up. We went down to the basement the next day to get something out of a storage closet to find water has saturated our carpeting and was damaging our baseboard trim and drywall. We called Complete Restoration Services, as they were recommended to us by our insurance agent. They were out within 35 minutes, they had the bulk of the water extracted, drying equipment set up and damaged trim and drywall removed with a couple of hours. We were very impressed at how fast they responded, how professional their employees were and how stream-line they made it all seem. Once everything was dried, they repaired drywall and trim damage and painted our basement for us. Now, the basement looks better than it did before and our plumbing issue, that caused this issue, has been repaired as well! It was just an all around very impressive experience and we would use them in the future for any issue we have an our home.

SwainCo. Crawl Space and Basement Repair
SWAINCO.  CRAWL SPACE FULL PERIMETER DRAINAGE &
    ENCAPSULATION WORK:
    BACKGROUND: For 5
years I have considerer the above work; however, as someone who has been
involved in commercial contracting & construction for 4 decades, I have
been cautious about the process for various reasons. When we built the house,
an exterior perimeter drains & foundation waterproofing, which is felt to
be the best approach, did not get done! Off & on, I researched contractors,
construction data & finally had some intriguing conversations with Ken
Swain on his process. Ultimately, we reached some agreeable criteria-It is
details that matter to make things really work well. I learned from Ken & I
think he learned from me on some issues. His knowledge & experience were
critically important but just as important was his willingness to continue
learning, improving his process & being open to discuss. At it?s very worst,
our crawl was flat with +/- 4? of level pea gravel & it has only been
notably damp & never had significant standing water around the perimeter.  An existing sump was to be lowered &
    replaced.

    AGREEMENT:   We
finally reached an agreement & as scheduling progressed, there were some
issues, Ken was graciously willing to address them in a prudent businesslike
manner; in part, some delays were due to the 2015 May-July HEAVY rains.  Ken?s workers
were timely, polite, & helpful in delivering the details of the work &
even offer some nominal but important details such as adding a 2nd
layer of 20 mill product at the crawl entry to provide extra protection. The
crew was open to my periodic inspections as set up. The crew size of 4 was
reasonable & the lead ?foreman? came to me to discuss/resolve potential issues
vs. what is commonly done by contractors to quickly cover up & hide things
for the owner?s future ?discovery?.  Even
after the work, it warranted prudent to install a de-humidifier that I
purchased, with Ken?s help, & now have +/- 55-60% humidity in crawl &
house. It proved to be a prudent decision.
    RESULTS:    Given
the MAJOR May, June & July 2015 rains, I have been amazed at the amount of
water that has drained from the concrete block wall 3 holes per block into the
4? perimeter drain system, new sump & pump. Ken & SwainCo staffs were not
just doing a task but they are ?thinkers? unlike many other companies that
?just do what they do because that is what they do.?   THANKS KEN & STAFF.

    A+ Restoration Services
I discovered mold in my garage and I've had excess moisture in my home.  I called another co. and the owner was using scare tactics and trying to pressure me into having him do the work immediately. His estimate was substantially higher    I contacted Jeff and he came out and surveyed the situation.  I liked his approach and felt comfortable and reassured that he was taking time to explain things to me.  He prioritized what needed to be done and sent an estimate.   I was unsure if I would be able to do everything immediately because of finances.   Brett was the supervisor for the jobs and I also felt very comfortable with Brett.  I first had the garage mold and fixing the crawlspace taken care of.

After that was done, I had Jeff do the estimate for the mold remediation in the crawl and then scheduled that.   Jeff and Brett made sure that they completed all the work that was promised including making the crawl entries more accessible.    I am very happy with the work and also with the professional, reassuring, calm manner that Jeff and Brett display.

    Acculevel Inc
Acculevel went above and beyond to make up for a slight oversight on our contract.  They have shown me that not only do they provide excellent, professional service they also are honest and they demonstrated a high level of integrity.

As soon as Acculevel became aware of the disparity the gentleman who examined our house initially, Chris McGirt (Property Manager) called us and apologized for the misunderstanding.  Apparently it was merely an oversight in filling out the contract/work order.  It was simply that the box indicating spraying didn't get checked and all work is to be done per work order therefore the work crew wasn't aware of the oversight, naturally.  To me that is understandable and I believe him.

Another representative also called and set up an appointment to have it sprayed.  Both representatives I spoke with were very accommodating and courteous and anxious to rectify the misunderstanding. Their prompt response and sincerity restored my trust in them.  The gentlemen who did the work were excellent, being courteous, efficient, and professional.

I was very impressed and happy when Mr. McGirt checked the levelness of my foundation and told me it was indeed level.  I appreciated very much his being honest.  Some other companies might try to convince you to have unneeded work done.  It can be difficult to find a company that you can trust to be honest and I can now say that Acculevel is one of those companies.

If you think you might need foundation service Acculevel is the company to call.  They're good people to work with.

    ENGLISH EXCAVATING INC
I can't speak highly enough about English Excavating, Inc. and their owners Mark and Mick English.  Their excellent reputation precedes them.  Prior to the actual work being completed, at our home, several other general contractors spoke only with superlatives regarding English Excavating's capabilities, and the owner's respected reputation in the Greater Indianapolis area.
Upon arrival, at our home, they (and their crew of three) were instantly on top of the project.  I had complete confidence in their ability to problem solve, from the beginning.  Even the president, Mark English, was on site at least once or twice a day, to check on progress and offer additional suggestions to make the outcome even better.
The excavation project was scheduled to take two days to complete.  But mid-way, English's crew discovered even more xtreme "cheats" on the emergency egress window that the prior con-tractor had installed (prior to the con-tractor's breaching our written Agreement and abandoning the job site).  It added a third complete day to the schedule.  Regardless, English's crew worked hard and steady at making certain our home (and basement) would no longer suffer the indignities we had suffered from prior massive floodings, downstairs.
A special thanks to the crew, who worked hard and diligently in very cold and occasionally snowy weather.  Throughout, they kept their sense of humor and maintained a constant pace that got the job done in the most professional manner.
English Excavating, Inc. is in high demand, due to it being a very professional company -- with skilled, knowledgeable and proficient craftsmen on board.  I highly recommend them to anyone who needs this type of work to be done for residential or commercial properties.

    AquaDry Midwest Inc
It went really well. Bruce gave us some good advice and did not pressure us to use his services for anything further then what he was there to do that day. Since my husband was not there Bruce let me know that if my husband had any questions that my husband could call him at any time. I sat down with my husband and we decided to call Bruce back to obtain Aquadry's services to clean up the mold and help with outside drainage issues that contributed to the mold inside our house.  Bruce and his team showed up at a very early convenience for us as well as on time. Bruce and his team did a wonderful job and graciously left an air scrubber at our home to catch any mold spores. Bruce informed me that their services were guaranteed and that if there were any issues after they left to call him anytime.

Bruce and his Aquadry team were very friendly, professional, informative, and punctual. My husband is in the Navy and Bruce happily informed us that his company gives a Military discount to show appreciation to our Military. This company was great to work with because they did not pressure us into buying extra services and they also were very knowledgeable in what they were doing for us. They also gave us a lot of feedback and suggestions on what we should do to prevent future mold and drainage issues. I would definitely use this company again because their prices are reasonable, they're reliable and because I trust them to do a good job and do it right. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

    AquaDry Midwest Inc

This house that provider serviced is family-owned; we are in the process of selling it and needed some contracting work done.  The AquaDry rep and crew has been VERY prompt in meeting us at the house on several occasions.  We were on a date deadline as we prepared for appraisal, and the provider met our deadline dates.  They were very reasonable, not over-charging or finding additional repairs that really didn't need to be made; we appreciated that since selling a house can be pricey with fees & repairs.  The whole job was completed in a very satisfactory amount of time.  And although we still had an issue w/ a couple of items after their work was done, they quickly returned and took care of things to our complete satisfaction.

Very pleased w/ AquaDry Midwest and would recommend them to others.

The crawl space looks fabulous and very clean.  They removed all of the debris and did a great job.  My crawl space area and basement are no longer musty.  Very dry now with the dehumidifier.
