    They were awesome to work with. They responded to my request quickly, were here when they said they were going to be here, and were very reasonably priced. Once they got into the job it was a little bit more than expected due to some existing problems and David explained the situation very well and was very accommodating. I was very happy with the service I received and I would highly recommend them.

    excellent --- they always called the day before the service was to be performed and showed up when they said they would. They always let me know what they were doing with each application and what I should and shouldn't do for the next week (e.g. don't mow the lawn for 2 days, etc.) Any time I have called with a question, I received an immediate response. I have used Lawn Pride for several years and my yard looks great, even though I have 3 dogs. I am on a yearly fee basis (all paid up front) instead of payment for each application

    We got two estimates. Karen's was a bit lower. But, even so, my wife felt more comfortable discussing the project with Karen. She gave us a week that we could expect the work would begin, and we had the work done that week, even though it was a rainy one. Karen's team was very friendly and really listened. They even removed a heavy steel basketball post that was a challenge. The front now sports a clean, modern look, and we've gotten lots of compliments. Karen gave us good advice on helping the plantings through this hot summer, and everything still seems to be surviving. Like most new plantings, it will likely look even better as the plants mature. We expect to have Karen's team back for periodic maintenance.

    Had to have a leaning pine tree removed and it's stump ground up. Brown's Tree Service did an excellent job! They arrived on time, worked quickly, cleaned up the yard, et al. Friendly service too. The price for the work was really reasonable. I would highly recommend their services!

    He went way and beyond the work mentioned above.. one of the hardest working men I have ever met.. he even removed not only an aluminum fence pole but dug out another one that was wrapped in 3 ft of concrete!!

    The crew were so professional and they had this gigantic tree down, cut up, stump ground, yard debri raked and removed in 4 hours. They have all the equipment needed and can work a mean chainsaw. Their quote was $3000 and I had 4 other quotes for $4000, and had 2 companies that wouldn't even touch it. Great job guys!

    Dan came out and gave me a quote for removal of a small tree. He said I would get a call in the next couple of days to schedule the work. After 10 days with no call, I called them - they came out and removed the tree that day. They ground the stump and removed all the debris; you can't even tell the tree was ever there. Great work, after a glitch in getting the work scheduled.

    Huerta's Landscaping
    I paid for the "deal" and it was charged to my credit card. After 8 days of NO Response from Huerta's Landscaping, I made a call to Angie's List. They asked if I wanted Angie's list to call them. Yes. How do I know Huerta's Landscaping actually got the notice that a customer had purchased their offer? Maybe something happened through Angie's List with notification. Besides as a paying member for many years to Angie���s list, I do expect that I do NOT have to call the service provider myself to get an initial contact. Later, Angie���s Customer Service contacted me that they didn���t get any response from calling Huerta's and did I still want Angie's List to contact them? Yes! This is why I have a membership. Seems there shouldn't be a question that Angie's List was responsible for the follow-up. Again later, Angie���s called to say they did reach Huerta's and they said they tried to call me and couldn't reach me. That is a LIE. I'm seldom gone from home. I have a fine functioning answering machine and I have caller ID and I can look back for weeks of calls to my phone and there were no calls from Huerta���s. This alone tells you the honesty and trustworthiness of this business. Then Angie���s told me that Huerta's said they would contact me on Saturday (this was Tuesday). They did NOT call then or any other time. I suspect that they regretted making such a low special offer and didn���t want to honor it. (As of today the same offer is $325 for eight labor- hours of landscape). Thing is I would have paid more to have this late season service done and I probably would have had them do extra work and would be interested in a return in the spring with probably $3,000 worth of work. There seems to be a serious problem in the Indy area with landscapers not communicating with their customers. I���ve ALWAYS been contacted immediately but have had problems with follow-up contacts after that. It seems they think they don���t need to contact their customers until the day they are ready to come to do the work. They even show up unannounced and expect the customer to be there ready and waiting to show them what needs to be done. That���s not how most customers would want. Most would just like to be ���in the know��� so they can plan and be prepared to be available. I���m happy if you contact me at least in a couple of days. It doesn���t take that long to call. ,,, if you can���t do the work right away, I understand that. That���s reasonable. Just call us, keep us informed!! I hope other landscapers and customers read this and see a way to improve their service. I���m thinking perhaps it is so easy to get customers in this area and they are in such demand that they are at liberty to be disrespectful to customers. Am I too demanding? I could have gone on to enlist other providers if you don���t want to do it. No response after 8 days is just unacceptable and I wish that Angie���s list would have rules that the provider must contact customers within a certain amount of time. That���s called customer service. I will say that now I see that Angie���s List has refunded my $139 to my credit card. At least that. Thank you.

    Paid in advance, never showed up. Messaged yesterday, September 2 as to why the grass had not been cut in over two weeks. Told that owners son was at the house at that moment cutting the grass. As of 11:00 PM last night, it had still not been cut. He has our money and has been fired.
