    RenCon Services, Inc.
The craftsmanship was good when they showed up. I was told the process would take approximately 3 weeks to complete. It took 3 weeks, just for them to pull the permits. They did not know how the permit process worked and what size footing they had to have. The first inspection had to be repeated. The entire process took 13 weeks to complete. He blamed it on the permit process and rain. It rained a total of 5 days. They damaged my outdoor bar by cutting with a saw and used it as a work bench. The door they installed was warped, the door opening is too tall, I have 2-1/2" gap at the bottom I need to figure out how to fill. They did an awful job at cleaning up debris. They laid building materials in the mulch beds damaging plants. I would not recommend this contractor to anyone. I have pictures to back up all of these complaints

We were overall very happy with our experience. During the pre-construction process, our consultant took the time to work out every detail with us. A very detailed spreadsheet was provided with cost estimates that we could customize to change various features and see how it would affect cost. The company did not ask for any money upfront through all the planning phases; we paid nothing until we were sure we wanted to go with them. We chose one of their floor plans, but then customized it significantly, giving us the effect of a custom home at a much lower price than high-end custom builders. The customization process allowed for great flexibility. After construction began, we began working with a construction manager, who was professional, responsive and helpful. Along the way there were a few minor problems, but they were all handled to our satisfaction. All site issues were handled by Hallmark, from permits to utility hookups. Now that we have moved into our new house, the good service continues. When we have noticed some minor problems, they have sent a Hallmark rep or one of their contractors out to take care of it within a few days. No building process is completely perfect or smooth, but they were truly professional and we are very happy with our house.

    Springer Construction Inc.
The work was completed incorrectly and the room leaks onto the flooring.  This has ruined the floors in the room.  Dwayne didn't get the required permits for this job which was a violation of the township. Dwayne essentially said that the issue is not his fault and that the people who did the work before his company was responsible .

I hired a general contractor to complete the botched job Springer did.  They had to take everything down to the studs.  This was how it should have been done by Springer.  The new company did a great job.  Once the new crew began work, they noticed how negligent the work Springer did.  We had mold growing under the floor tiles that Springer came back out to correct.  I have a powerpoint review done by the second contractor that shows all the poor work Springer did.  He was hired as a general contractor to convert this room.  He never stated anything else was needed to be completed for him to convert this room.  I hired an attorney to review his contract after Springer wouldn't stand by his word.. He felt we would have a 50/50 chance of getting money back from this negligent work because the contact was so vaguely written.  Shame on me for trusting Duane!  I decided not to move forward.  I would caution anyone using this guy.  He isn't honest.  Basically, I paid $20k for windows.  He took me to the cleaners.  Expensive life lesson leaned.  Wish you all better luck.

I originally purchased this deal to have someone come into a rental property of mine that I was going to renovate. Unfortunately I was unable to use it due to tenants moving in earlier than expected. Talking to a Customer Service Rep, she mentioned I would be able to request a refund because I did not use this Deal. This company did nothing wrong, it was just bad timing and I thought I was stuck, but hopefully you will consider the refund request. Thank You, Marc Stridde

Project:   rebuild new construction labor new garage ? kit from Menards

    Contract amount ? 5,000

Our contract stated: $2,500 up front with remainder paid at end of project & punch list.

Project complete date: 2 weeks from start date.

While getting the permit Mr. Bouvier did not have the money (after paying him 2,500) to pay for his contractors licensing for the Town of Fishers, 100.00.  So we paid for it with the agreement of it being deducted out of his balance owed.   Day one Mr. Bouvier asked for 400.00 more money said he was short on paying the payroll for the labors. That brings the total paid to $3,000.  Three weeks into the project and it is ½ completed.   No call No show by week 3.   After inspecting his work:  OSB wall board was tacked in, no nails at top and a sparingly nails throughout the sill plate.  As OSB was being applied to the roof trusses, the people he hired to do the work ran out of OSB and didn?t have enough materials to finish enclosures.   Menards gave us enough material it was just careless miss cut which interned cost us another $120 dollars for more OSB another $56.00 for more 2x4?s that was used as bracing having multiple nails chewing up the ends making them unusable . When installing the OSB on the gables there wasn?t any header board (any  framing )done for the garage doors 60+ nails that didn?t go into anything had to be hammered back out otherwise the header board would not lay flat. Had they did that before those nails would of went into something.  He also had to use the home owners air compressor Mr. Bouvier didn?t not have one.   He was dismissed off the job on 10/23/12.

Upon notifying him of dismissal it was agreed to have a dismissal contract signed, a lien waiver and a return monies in the amount of 500.00.  Which I thought was reasonable.   He asked for his nail gun back.  We looked and there was not any nail gun on the property.   We called and spoke with the 2nd tier subcontractors which told us they had his nail gun.

We hired another company which came out and pointed out the soffits was made incorrectly, to short and the OSB seams had no support, which should have been supported by the soffit tails and the new contractors pointed out there wasn?t any nails at the bottom the new contractors used a tape measure to push up the OSB notifying us of the poor installation.  We had to purchase another $1,00.00 of materials to fix the soffits.     We are up to $1,176.00 in replacement materials.

Mr. Bouvier  kept asking for him to do the electrical work.   He looked at the work that would be done and gave us his option on what needed to be done.  After speaking with another contractor and mentioning what Bouvier wanted to do, stating the line weather head was fine, (amps) and some minor changed needed.  The other contractor said if you do that your house can catch in fire.  Right then and there he was not going to touch the electrical.

As of 1/2/2013 no monies have been returned, no return calls, emails or text has been returned.

    BiltRite Homes LLC
Overall, our experience was excellent.  We would certainly recommend BiltRite to family and friends.  Several weeks after we moved into our home, a tornado damaged several homes within a few miles of our house.  The next morning, Brad Frye and Gary Ogle called to check on our family.  Fortunately, our home was not damaged. Their concern  was a perfect  reflection of the care, quality, and attention we received during the building process.

I had a pretty good yeah I don't know how to explain it. They built my home and it seemed to be alright. They corrected any issues we had. It seemed to work out ok. I have only lived in it for a year so I can not speak too much for the quality right now.
