Sewer Cleaning reviews in Fort Wayne

  • Mark and Kyle T. had to utilize extensions to reach about 165+feet to get the unclogged the sewer line. They worked very efficiently. The price on time and equipment was very fair and not extremely expensive. We will use Rolf Griffing Services again if needed it. A++ our recommendation. Galindo G. household.

  • I had a blockage in my sewage pipe and ended up having a section of it replaced, as well as adding an external clear-out, requiring a section of my back yard dug up. Shoda Sewer Service worked around freezing temperatures to get the problem solved and the drainage restored to my house as quickly as possible. What I found especially merciful was the company's efforts not to damage my landscaping even whilst maneuvering a digging machine in my small back yard. Shoda Sewer Service also worked with me to spread the cost of this large repair out over a few months since I am on a small fixed income. I would definitely recommend Shoda Sewer Service!

  • Great they had to use an extension and got it cleaned up, the clog was at about 120 ft, which Roto router charged me more than twice and said they couldn't go any farther and didn't accomplish anything.

  • Terrible, charged $440 to attempt to clean out, worked for about 45 min and their wire wasn't long enough so nothing got accomplished. Then called 3 times to give me a quote on getting a locate done for another $180 and then installing a new cleaning out for $3500. I got it done for $220 from Shoda in about an hour.

  • Came early fixed the problem and was gone in less than 1/2 hour.
Forgot to look in Angie's list first or I would have gotten $20.00 off.
    Had other coupon for $10.00

  • The clog was over fifty feet from the kitchen sink.  Earl cleared it with a power auger.  It took him about a half hour.
He showed up when he said he would...actually a bit early.  He did the job, and he's quite reasonably priced.

  • mentdayseekseup and said they were done in dec. of 2014 I call them because I had water coming in the basement from the sewer line. john came out and told me it would be around 2200.00 to repair from the inside of foundation to theoutside of back porch and another 480.00 to go to alley. so I agreed to have it done. they came out, I had taken fence loose so they didn't have to. and one person started on the inside, and two on the outside with a backhoe every thing looked like it was goin ok until I noticed that the two outside dumped there trash from there lunch in the in the trench instead of putting it in the trash can twenty feet away.. they buried that and chunks of new pipe also. then the man in the basement came up and said they they were done so it was less than two weeks and it started to leak again. it took them a week before they came out. they said they were going to patch a joint. well that took another two weeks and it was a full day without toilet again. after that it slowed down but the walls never dried. then in the spring of 2015 it started leaking like they were never I called and called finally I got a hold of them and they came out and said they would patch it again, and he told me it would take a couple of days, never heard from them again. I also found out that when he told me the first estimate that line coming into the house from the tap outside was six inch and that they would put a four inch line in so I thought that the line from inside to the alley was new come to find out that it was a four inch line to begin with and that they were putting bandages on a old system. so I got fed up with the bull and call A-1 sanitary sewer service. I had to rip the floor and insulation and floor joist and all items I had on porch ot they came in and in no time it was done. and I haven't had a leak since, and I now have a dry basement. it cost me 1200.00 but it was worth it. I sent a 1200.00 bill to roto-rooter never heard from them.

  • Our Technician was very helpful and professional. He explained where our property line was and where it tied into the city sewer line. He then worked to clear any blockage in our line by running a 2.5 inch auger down the line. Once he believed the line was cleared he ran a camera down the line to inspect for root balls, and showed us where roots had entered the line through the joint seams. Our Technician also explained the maintenance program offered by Roto-Rooter and scheduled a time for them to come back to apply the root killer chemicals. Very professional and very reasonable cost considering it was a Saturday night and Halloween. We were very pleased with the results. Thank you Roto-Rooter.

  • Plumber (Rob) arrived on time, after we received a courtesy call that he was on his way.
We had a basement floor drain that wouldn't drain. Water was backed up in drain. Rob was able to determine the clogged drain was due to roots in sewer line. He augured the line several times to remove heavy roots. We appreciate the persisitent hard work it took to completely open the line.  Drain is now unclogged; water no longer backs up in basement. Plumber was knowledgable, competent, professional, and very hard-working. We felt the price was quite reasonable.

  • Crew arrived at scheduled time. Found problem with their specialized tools narrowing the dig down to a precise location. Commenced digging, uncovered suspect line, busted it open to verify the clog. Removed 10' length as agreed to. Opened remaining line with high pressure water in both directions. Scoped line with camera, saw remaining roots, went back in with high pressure water until the camera showed no evidence of roots and more importantly that I was happy the line was cleared. After inspection by the city, covered with stone and back filled with soil. Job took less time than expected and final cost was reduced.
