    I called and asked if they could repair a belt on my Craftsman riding lawn mower. I was told they could, just to bring it in. I loaded it in the back of my pickup and was told upon arrival that they couldn't get Craftsman parts. I called ahead of time and specifically asked this, so this was very frustrating.

    Dennis and his two employees were hard working and very thorough in every project they completed. Dennis was never satisfied with the work until he checked it out to make sure it was done right. He even did a quick repair on my lawn mower with no charge.

    Poor communication. Promises made and not kept regarding time of service. Estimates not given (one given when initially dropped off but I asked for an estimate when they actually started working on it so I would know. And, no estimate on the second time they had to work on it on a part that was working before I took it in.) When the mower was finally serviced and I got it home, the power lever did not stay in place and I had to mow one hand on the lever and one hand steering the mower. This lever had worked right before the service. I stopped in (preferred way to communicate with them) and I asked if there was a way that I could disassemble the part, thinking that they may have looked at it and not put it back at the right adjustment (and not wanting to, for the 3rd time, have them monopolize my mower). They insisted on picking it up. When he picked it up I said it worked before I took the mower in and I also pointed out that it looked like something was broken inside. He said he would have the mechanic look at it. I expected a call of some sort regarding his findings. With the prior service record, I did not expect my mower back the same day, especially after hours. He showed up with the mower, said the part was replaced with a used part and handed me an invoice!!!
    The only reason I let them look at it at this point was because I felt they were responsible for fixing it since it worked before I had the mower serviced. In the meantime, I had learned of another mower repairman and I would have taken it to him if I had known he was going to charge me for fixing it. I never authorized them to fix it for a price - he said he would have the mechanic look at it.
    Upon examining the bill, the labor price didn't even match the labor rate on my first service bill so it was hard to figure out how they got that number. The lever is not as easy to lock, but it works.
    Suggestions for potential customers: put things in writing and have them put things in writing.

    They have trouble returning calls that are left on their answering machine. You have to catch a person or go to their store. They only charged the pick-up fee once (1st time) cause they were still trying to fix the same problem.

    Things went from bad to worse. I was never called to tell me when repairs were completed. I called often after the promised completion date to get the repair status. Most times I reached a recording that said they were too busy to answer the phone. There was no way to leave a message. After numerous attempts I finally reached someone who said it was ready. Had to wait til Tuesday for them to deliver my riding lawn mower. I asked them to call me before they delivered. They called me 2 minutes before they arrived. Seriously! I wasn't given any approximate time for delivery.
    I used the lawn mower and the mulcher was still not working. That was the main problem that needed fixing. I explained that I had cleaned it out last summer but that did not fix the problem. I was told the problem was Spring grass and that the grass was too long. I told them that the mulcher had not worked all last summer and was still not working.
    They agreed to pick it up again but felt there was no problem. They kept it for 2 weeks just to tell me that it was ok. When thay tried it the grass clumped and didn't mulch because the grass was wet so they said. Again they NEVER called to say when it was ready. I tried very frequently to talk with someone on the phone but always got the recording where I couldn't leave a message. Finally, as my grass was extremely long, I drove 20 minutes to their store to make arrangements to get my mower back. They were all in the back but no one could be bothered to answer the phone! They had not done any service to fix the mulcher over the 2 week period. They said they would deliver it the next day by 3:45. They NEVER give you any idea what time of day they will come. I waited til 4:50 and called to find out what was going on. Someone actually answered the phone this time. He thought it was delivered the day before! He said he would deliver it on his way home between 5:30 and 6. He never delivered it nor called to say he wouldn't
    The next afternoon I called and actually got someone on the phone again! I was told they were too busy to deliver it yesterday and they had talked to my daughter this morning. I reminded them they had promised delivery yesterday but had not delivered, not called to tell me about not delivering or had not even fixed the problem. She said they would deliver it at 1 that day. This time she called at 1 and said it would be closer to 2. It finally arrived around 2. Incidentally, my daughter said they never called or talked to her.

    We had Turf Services tune up our snow blower and lawn mower. They had to fix one of the tires on the snowblower so that was a little more expensive than what we thought it would be. They were very knowledgeable about both items.

    I was certainly impressed with their knowledge on different models. They could tell me where their service issues have been on some of the models over the years. They have been in business for a lot of years. Their prices were better than most of the others in town. It was a high-end model. It had the features I wanted for the dollars that I wanted and they gave me the price, they didn't even want to trade it. They were above average. It was a good experience. I would definitely go back and buy from them again. I was turned on to them by someone else that doesn't deal in the mower sales but just repairs them. It was an interesting recommendation.

    We use them only if something is worn out and we need to buy a new one. They are very friendly and reasonably priced. If they don't have something in stock they are very good about looking it up and seeing what they can get for us. It's a family-owned company.

    I CALLED THEY COMPANY WE USED TO USE AND THEY THEY NEVER CAME OUT OR CALLED BACK SINCE DEC. SO I KNEW IT WAS GETTING CLOSE TO MOWING TIME AND WE HAVE A HUGE YARD. WE HAVE A DOUBLE WIDE MOWER AND IT IS NOT EASY TO TRANSPORT SO I SAW THERE AD IN THE PHONE BOOK AND SAID WHY NOT. THEY CAME ON FRI AND OICK IT UP AND RETURNED IT ON SUN. ALREADY TO START MOWING. THEY EVEN CLEANED T OFF .. THEY ARE MY NEW MOWER REPAIR GUYS. THEY A VERY GOOD PRICED AND VERY NICE. I WILL USE THEM FOR ALL I CAN
