    They told me they could get me the flooring and it was going to be around $100. That���s a high price but I needed the flooring. When I went to pick it up I was told the floor was going to be $150 because shipping. I told them I was never told about the shipping or that it would be that much. They refused to try to make it right or to even offer to split the cost difference with me. I talked to the sales rep for the flooring line who told me that the shipping is included in the price of the flooring. Long story short I know who I will never use or recommend to anyone. They will try to take advantage of you and have shown to only care about your money.

    We had them tear out wood flooring and carpet and replace with new wood flooring and carpet on 2 stories. The quality of installation was very good. We are pleased with the outcome of the product. However, when we we agreed to a quote for the entire project, they had not properly calculated some additional sub-flooring into the job. We were asked to pay an additional $1680 for sub-flooring that should have been easily determined. We have been told by others that have used them that this is a common practice. The installers were extremely rough on our furniture and newly painted walls and molding. Very unnecessary greasy hand prints on newly painted walls, moved furniture marked newly painted walls, and the installers moved a large bookcase and broke several levelers on the bookcase. They did not tell us about the breakage until I discovered it. The owner came by and somewhat repaired it. They were very rough on furniture and walls. They used a shortcut to bring cut wood flooring through a garage entry and navigating corners instead of bringing it in through the front door. It resulted in severely damaged paint and walls. We have 100 year old antique furniture which was not treated very well. We paid additional in our contract to have the furniture moved. The thing that really was frustrating, was the owner only showed up on the very last day of installation (2 weeks total). The only reason he showed up is because we complained about the rough treatment of walls, paint, and furniture. He told me that he was very upset with his installers. Blaming the installers for a lack of supervision during the job did not go over well with us. He should have been there at some point during the job, supervising. We cannot recommend them to others and we would not hire them again.

    Rose Wood Floor Refinishing - NO Sanding
    Sherri was great. She showed up on time, got the job done quick, and everything still looks great. It was much cheaper than having them sanded and they look just as good if not better. I have two rooms that still need done and will absolutely have her do those as well.

    Installation team did a good job. They explained what they were doing. Wrong transition piece was ordered and they had to order the correct one. They installed it within 2 weeks of completing the floor. They called me instead of me calling them. Would definitely hire them again.

    Aaron from Jack Laurie was awesome to work with! He gave us a competitive price, did a fantastic job designing the transitions between floorings and the master shower tile. Detail oriented and any problems were taken care of promptly. Very professional and we would use them again. They have a lifetime warranty on their products and workmanship which says a lot. Darren, the supervisor is also very professional. They make a great team and made the flooring installation in the house quite painless. Before installing the hardwood they made sure that the builders had the AC installed and that the humidity was where it had to be.

    Took longer to get the garage door to the store and some messages to the store did not get answered.  However the install of the new garage door went very well and we love the new door and opener

    From the very first day this job was done in a very unprofessional
    manor that has caused damage to my home that Lowes promised to fix but when it
    came down to it, I have to now hire a lawyer.  The Kitchen is not even
    complete!  Lowes now refuses to come and fix the situation:

    Cabinets not put in the proper location, and filler not used, so doors hit each
    other

    Drywall not finished

    Trim crown molding is not put together with flush ends, nails poking thru.
     Some of the trim has splits in it from when being nailed on.  About
    50% of the crown trim has not even been installed.  Wrong trim was used
    under upper cabinets and light shines thru.  The cabinet installers
    complained to us that they had not been given a clear plan of what trim went
    where!  One of the upper cabinets that has a garage on it is supposed to
    sit flush on the counter, sits about a 1/4" above the counter so
    everything such as crumbs get stuck underneath.  One of the Spice racks
    that pull out from next to the range does not sit properly or can even be used
    at this time.  

    The Lowes cabinet designer who designed this Kitchen had set up for a Microwave
    cabinet, however, there is not a microwave that will fit in the cabinet because
    it was designed for a built in Microwave, but nothing on the market fits in the
    opening.  The general contractor wanted us to just have him put it in
    without the factory tray that allows it to vent, but we did not agree since the
    microwave would over heat and after all we paid in full, already for a
    completed Kitchen not to have something that would void the factory warranty
    and also would not look consistent with the Kitchen.

    During Demo, they removed a very old Barn Door, but did not take any pictures
    or take care of the pieces or hardware.  So when it came time to put it back
    together, guess what, they can't find the pieces or figure out how it goes back
    together!

    The framed out a new door way for a bathroom door.  Well I supplied the
    door, they made the opening to fit the "door" exactly, no room for a
    jamb!!  Without saying anything to me, the new contractor cut the
    "antique" door down to fit the opening they had made, which made the
    door handle very low.....and if you are over 5'11 you have to duck!!!  
    The brand new range was delivered with scratches in the stainless steel.

    The contractor lied to us about calling for inspections.  Two days waited,
    finally called the city myself to find out the inspection had not been called
    in as I had been told 3 times it had.  

    One of my very expensive wood floors was damaged by the General Contractors
    employees, even after repeated request for them to better cover the floor.
     They finally did, after I pointed out to the General Contractor the
    damage they had done.  He apologized and said they would have it repaired.
     Will that General Contractor is off the job and the Rep from Lowes for
    over 3 weeks said he was getting with them but never did.  I finally had
    to spend about 2 hours finding someone to come out and give me an estimate.
     The second General Contractor when putting the refridador back in the
    kitchen damaged two of the door of the fridge and now not sure if this is
    getting repaired, since my last conversation with Lowes today, is that they
    will not do anymore work at my home, and are contacting their legal department.
     So I am contacting my attorney and this is only a fraction of a terriable
    and expensive expereince with Lowes that I am not pretty sure will take months
    and more money for me to have to put out to get things repaired and finished.
     

    By the way, did I mention that I paid Lowe's 100 percent!  So why are they
    not fixing the problems they left or finishing the job?

    He was really good. I used LOWE'S pretty much because their prices are accurate. The last time I wasn't too pleased with the flooring people. The thing that they laid was kind of bumpy and I hate that. They didn't do things the way they said they're going to do them.
