The Foundation Doctor did a great job! Don appeared to be very knowledgeable about foundations and drainage issues. He gave some very helpful suggestions, and actually recommended that we do less work than we thought we might have to do. There were a few delays in the process due to weather and other circumstances that Don couldn't foresee or control, but he kept us informed about the process--and delays--along the way. His team did some repointing of mortar for us which was a little messy. When we asked Don about this, he and his team came back to our home and cleaned things up pretty well. We were very pleased with the work Foundation Doctor did, and have found that it pretty much corrected our basement water problem. We have been managing that for many years, so we wish we had called them sooner!

Excellent. My wife and I are so pleased with their work ethic, attention to detail, and the price, we have already contracted them to do a total window replacement in our home. Nick (one of the foremen) is easy to work with and a man of his word.

They did what they said and were on time. They fixed out foundation cracks and sealed it. We have no water in our basement since they did the work. We felt it was a fair price after getting other quotes.

Acculevel showed up on time. They worked 12 hours per day for 2 days and completed the mechanical work as contracted and returned for 4 hours another day to complete the sealing. The worker's were polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. The work, including cleanup, was completed professionally. I am very satisfied with the work and am confident the work will last the life of the home.

It went well, his crew came and worked at it.  Don is an artist with his backhoe, too.  When we had a problem after the work was completed, we called and he came right out, apologized profusely for missing it when he said he saw it, and got right to it, fixing the missed crack.  His work and attitude was appreciated by us.

If you enjoy having promises not kept, your phone calls not returned due to the fact that you never called in the first place, scheduled events like starting the job being slipped--then this is the company for you.  If you have the price of a new car to invest in the non delivery of service, justified by your not doing the required prep work because the employees are telepathic and know the status of your preparation even though they have not been to your home in six weeks--let me recommend this most untrustworthy business, who will happily give you the business.  Buy flood insurance!  They require a 1/3 down payment at time of signing a contract (which omits any start date).  When I refused that amount and agreed in writing to $1000 down payment, they sent the installation manager to my home to convince me of what a wonderful, moral person he was and get the 1/3 ($7,666.00) in advance.  Foolishly I let myself be persuaded.  Now I am out the down payment which they refuse to return.  A very high priced lesson indeed.  Ever-dry is a national company implemented through franchises.  I would hope that not every franchise exhibits the same lack of character.  Read their literature carefully and you will learn that they are not responsible for destroying your landscaping (within 2 feet of your house) or destruction to shelving and other interior features of your home.  Buy flood insurance!

We have a gravity drain that led to a creek with the outlet designed to be above the 100 year historic level of the creek which was flawless for 13 years.  Then we had a storm in June 2013 that was estimated to have been in excess of a 500 year storm level.  8"-9" in 4 hours.  Even though that storm would statistically not occur again for at least 499 more years the gravity drain didn't seem like a great idea to us anymore when some water reached our floor drains. We had several companies come out to evaluate a better solution and two suggested an exterior sump pump and check valve so we didn't have to tear up the lower level of our house.  I was concerned about the pump freezing.  Don said he has installed quite a few of these over the years without a single problem.  The sump pit is a little deeper and the lid is bolted on and forms a frost seal. The ground temperature prevents the pump from freezing.  Don also suggested we leave the gravity drain intact since it is fail proof (which for us was literally 99.98% correct but only due to one storm in 13 years)...he suggested we install a backwater valve that has a flapper valve which only allows water to go out. Actually, the backwater valve its self should have been enough but we wanted more assurance and wanted the pump as a back up...overkill perhaps but what price is peace of mind?  We liked his proposal and had him do an estimate.  It was $2000 less than the set up the other company was suggesting, tore up less of our landscaping and was a more elegant solution (less pieces/parts to fail) to boot.  Don was there within a week and had the work done in 2 days.  We barely knew he was there (other than the arm of his small backhoe visible through our living room window overnight) and he was done and gone. Don took my calls over the course of estimating to install to follow up and was always courteous even though I know I caught him at other worksites while he was working.  What I observed working with him was a concerned guy with a seriously strong work ethic.  He has a long history of doing foundation work so you know you are not just getting labor you are getting a solution.  He values his work as well as his customers concerns and satisfaction. He even provided a longer warranty on the pump as added security.

We had one call back when we had a storm and became a little uncertain about how the system was operating.  He was eager to be sure we were satisfied and came out to check the system for us.  All was fine.  He adjusted the sump pump float so if it was needed it would go off a little earlier.

I'd use him again in a heartbeat.  Thanks Don.

    Interior Channel Inc
Jerry and team arrived Monday and dug a channel in the basement. Tuesday, Jerry and team placed the tile drains and stones. They called the city building inspector who arrived shortly after the call. The inspector gave the approval for work. The last day of their work, while waiting for a cement truck, the crew dug the drain in the backyard. When the concrete truck arrived, the concrete was carried in buckets down to the basement. Crew were very careful handling the material. Concrete set up and hardened smoothly.
Crew members were friendly and courteous.
Interior Channels was very busy this summer and fall, so we had to wait for almost two months for the work to be started in our basement after we paid an initial down payment. Once the work started, however, the crew worked quickly and efficiently.

    DuHadway Corp
Following the large amount of rain we received this past Spring, my husband and I made the gruesome discovery that the previous owner of our home tried to patch some large cracks in the wall and hide his handiwork by covering 3/4 of the basement walls. After talking with a few different contractors, we chose DuHadway to make the repairs. Much to our delight, the project started rather quickly and completed well within the timeframe quoted. * Bucket after bucket of concrete chunks hauled to the dumpster. * New tile and stone laid, and concrete poured. * Installation of two sump pump systems, with drywell buried out to our pond. * Waterproofing and recovering of the walls. * Reconfiguration of the basement layout, including demolition of some interior walls, and construction of others. * Updated wiring, light fixtures, outlets and switches. * Spanish lace finish to the walls and ceiling. * Fresh, new paint and trim. Workers were all very polite and respectful of our space/property. The project was planned in such a way that we were never without water or the use of our washer and dryer. The only inconvenience was being without the water softener for a week or so. Although DuHadway was not the lowest bidder (and yet not the highest either), we believe the turnkey work performed was well worth the investment in our home.

Great. Job was expected to take 2-3 days to complete. But, during early stages of project, crew was able to identify simpler way to tie into existing sump pump. Result: 1 day job and lower than quoted price for project.
