Air Duct Cleaning reviews in Fort Wayne

Was told to be available between 8 and noon. Got a call at 12:15 that they were having scheduling problems. They asked if I could be available for an arrival between 1:00 to 2:30. I agreed. Agent arrived at 2:45. Agent told me that there would be a $49 fee since our house was on a slab. That was the first time I was aware of this fee and told the agent there should be some kind of compromise since I had waited since 8:00 this morning and they had basically consumed the entire day. Agent said he would work with me. He inspected the house and came to the conclusion that he was unable to clean the ducts since their equipment couldn't connect to our furnace. He did say that he would clean the dryer vent and and use some kind of disinfectant for our ducts which is normally a $129 service in itself for the price on Angie's list. I agreed. Agent then asked if I had a ladder he could use to enable him to clean the vent which sort of surprised me as I would think they would have the necessary equipment for such a service. None the less I got him a ladder to use. Disinfecting the furnace vents consisted of using a spray bottle of some type of liquid and spraying the furnace filter after showing him how to get to the furnace filter, and then going through the house and spraying each of the furnace vents in the rooms, and the cold air returns. The other thing that stuck me as odd was that our heart vents are mounted in the ceiling. He took his spray bottle and sprayed upwards, but it looked like to me most of the spray just fell to the floor. After this he picked up his stuff and left. I had to go out and retrieve my ladder and put it away. All in all I was not impressed. And if that's all that's involved with disinfecting a heating system for $129, I'm in the wrong business.

I had trouble with getting this setup for my house but asked to change the address and they were very accommodating. I cannot express how nice it was to have everything moved around and make my mother happy. There was an extra fee for the sanitization but worth the extra money.

While I am skeptical of the value of ductwork cleaning, my wife felt it needed to be done so we had Integrity do it. The technician was punctual, friendly, and professional. It seemed a bit pricey but I don't know that anyone would have done it any cheaper. I was a bit taken aback when he had to cut an access hole in our (brand new) ac ductwork but their machines do have to connect somehow. While still not entirely convinced this is a necessary, I was pleased with the job done.

Very nice responding team! Only does dryer vent cleaning from external of house. Does not clean actual hose of dryer, I did it myself. The air vents are also cleaned from external, then quickly comes in with another hose tool. Left pieces off debris in vent. Doesn't clean up after the job is complete. Walks in house with no sanitary covers on feet. There methods of sanitizing the vent is to spray a clean air filter with typical spray, the smell lasts for a couple day. Not sure how that sanitize the vents. They don't provide clean air filters.

It turned out well. I don't really have any other experience with duct cleaning, but they did a decent job, got all the dust and everything. I can't tell a difference right now but I will say that, I rent, and one of the maintenance personnel that came in seemed to be a little bit frustrated that the technician cut a hole in the ducting. I guess the air duct cleaning technician said that the only way to get a look at cleaning the inside of the duct was to actually look inside the duct, but instead of taking it apart, he went ahead and cut a hole and put his camera down in. The maintenance personnel from the housing company said he should have taken the duct apart instead of cutting a hole in something that he nor you actually own. He didn't say anything about a charge at this point and I haven't been told of one.

When he cut the hole out, I was like oh did you really have to cut a hole out? I didn't know he was doing it at first. I heard some noise and I went to see it and I was like oh snap! and he said yeah I'm gonna patch it up. That's when he told me the only way to clean inside is to see inside. I didn't think about taking the duct apart until the maintenance person said something.

He cleaned up well after he was done.

They arrived on time and introduced themselves before entering my home. They explained what they were going to do and approximately how long it would take. Paul also took pictures of the dryer vent that was cleaned and the nesting material that was found in the vent. After the process was done, Paul showed me what was pulled from my ducts. I was amazed! It took approximately 3 hrs to complete the task and they even swept the floors before leaving. I would have them come again to do other services.

They did it literally, two years ago! I have no idea what the cost was. They were nice to work with, they missed the first appointment. They were very pleasant to work with and I was very happy with their work. They were really nice! I would use them again! They had good communication, that is probably the biggest thing for me, that they communicated well and they did. I think the guy’s name was Adam. I don’t remember the price, but I would assume it was good or I would not have went with them. It was 2 years in August that this was done, 2014. It is kind of hard to judge after two years. I remember being happy with them. I remember being happy with their work. The price had to be on point, because I know, I had called about 3 or 4 companies for each thig that I had done. They were good to work with. As far as hammering down to the specifics, it’s been a pretty crazy last five years and that’s all right in the middle of the craziness. I would say they were professional, it’s been 2 years and 3 months. I can give you a happy face, they were good and I liked them!

Very well. It took about an hour and a half. The representatives both on the phone setting the appointment and the tech that came to do the work were pleasant, informative and helpful. The tech did offer additional services but we in no way felt pressured to spend the additional money for the add on services. I would highly recommend Integrity Carpet and Duct Cleaning and we will most certainly use them in the future when needed.

Ross Restoration was very punctual, clean, professional and knowledgeable.  Most contractors that come out would have told me that I needed additional services, but Ross Restoration did the job they were asked, check the air ducts in the house and determined they were fine and not due for a cleaning at this time.  I know businesses need ancillary income and cross-selling to be successful, but it was nice not to have them shove it down my throat and sell me something I didn't need . . . wish more businesses would follow their lead.

They offered a deal on Angies List to clean up to 20 heat vents and cold air returns for $374.99. We hesitantly prepaid for this service as we aren't used to paying upfront for services without knowing if they would do a good job. We were called the very next day and given several days and appointment times as we hoped to get it done before Thanksgiving. They were here on time and did a very good job. It took them about 3 hours. They even took a ladder to get to our dryer vent on the roof that hadn't been cleaned in years. Staff was very professional and knowledgeable about heating systems. We would definitely use them again and have already recommended this company to several friends.
