Very well. They were very responsible, came when they said they would. Completed the project sooner than I expected. Kept me informed of the progress. Asked for feedback. Came back very timely to do minimal touch up.

    The house looks gorgeous!!
These guys pressure washed, scraped & sanded everywhere.  They use tons of drop cloths to protect everything.  They used all the proper quality brushes & rollers to give a flawless finish.
All Pinnick's team are conscientious & meticulous.  July was a rainy month here so some days they would have to stop early and other days they couldn't paint at all.  Instead of painting up to the point of getting wet in the rain, they stopped in time to put away their gear and give the paint some set-up time before the downpour.  After a hard rain, they always inspected for any streaking or uneveness the rain may have caused before starting up again.
I was blown away at how these guys would go the extra mile.  Without my even asking, while he was pressure washing the house, Greg Pinnick also pressure washed the concrete at the front porch and the patio!!  The concrete looks like new!   In repairing some rot under a large window, Greg Pinnick discovered that bondo wasn't going to fix the sill properly.  The whole piece really needed to be replaced.  Rather than slamming up any old piece of 1x2, Greg went to a supply yard and found MDF trim with the exact right bevel.  Between the MDF being rot-proof and all the caulking done around the repair, he not only fixed the window trim, he made it better.
Pleasant, intelligent, funny, and caring.  Working with Greg & Ralph Pinnick was an thoroughly enjoyable experience.  My dog fell in love with the guys and they didn't even mind her daily goofy greetings!
Look no further.  Pinnick Painting is the right company for any painting projects you have.

The Supervisor pressure washed the house.  2 days later, the painting crew showed up.  BUT the Supervisor did not stay on the job even 5 minutes.  That is when the nightmare began.
They did not sand or scrape one single surface.  Consequently, paint began peeling off within weeks.
When painting the dentil trim along the eaves, they unbelievably PAINTED THE BRICK IN BETWEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!  They made no effort whatsoever to use the proper size brush or to avoid getting paint on the brick.
Without waiting for the first coat to dry, they applied th second coat because they DIDN'T WANT TO HAVE TO MOVE THE LADDERS BACK TO THAT SIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!  Consequently, the first coat was pulled away by the second coat in many areas, leaving  heavily textured finish.
THEY PAINTED OUR 2 SLIDING PATIO DOORS SHUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I literally had to cut thick paint and use excessive force to open our sliding doors.  And I had even informedthe painters that the doors were unlocked so they could open them and get the complete dor painted.  They never opened either door.  Evidently painting them shut was a better idea.
And then THEY PAINTED UP INSIDE THE TRACK FOR THE SCREENs ON OUR 2 SLIDING PATIO DOORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I had removed the sliding screen door to make it easier for the painters.  But these guys had no idea what they were doing.  And they put such a thick coat of paint up inside the track that I cannot fit the screens back in the track.  We have NO SCREEN DOORS thanks to these people.
They slopped paint on the door handles and locking hardware.  No effort was made to mask the door hardware at all.
While painting the headers & wood trim above the sliding patio doors, THEY ACTUALLY PAINTED AGAINST THE GRAIN OF THE WOOD!!!!!!!!!!!
When painting the downspouts, absolutely NO EFFORT was made to mask or keep paint off the brick.  Such a mess.
After they left the first day, I felt uneasy, but intended to speak with the Supervisor and give them the benefit of the doubt.  The 2nd day, the Supervisor never showed.  Halfway through the scond day, I told the crew to stand daow, I called the Supervisor, and I had no choice but to fire them.  I could not afford to allow them to do any more damage to our home.
After walking around the house with the Supervisor, who finally came AFTER I fired this crew, he asked for an opportunity to come back and clean some of the paint off the brick.  I agreed and they came back the next day and cleaned off as most of the paint along the downspouts.  They left after 4 hours.  The Supervisor actually had the gall to tell me they wouldn't charge me any more for the project, but that he had to keep my deposit so he could pay his cre something!
Now I am left with inoperable sliding patio doors and an amateurish partial paint job.  I contacted local proffessional painting contractors and it is costing me $3200,00 additional just for the pros to fix everywhere Student Painters painted before they can paint correctly.  That does not include the probem with the painted-shut sliding doors.
I have contacted Student Painters corporate headquarters and have sent them dozens of pictures of the poor work, damage, and the additional $$ their mess is costing me (not counting repairing or replacing the 2 patio doors) but the only response they offer is they want to send another crew here to sand & paint until I am happy with the finishd project.
Why would anyone in their right mind, after this experience, allow them to ever touch our home again?? ( Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.)
    AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!1

The work crew arrived promptly and worked very hard. They did some cleanup work for us so that they could do the job more quickly at no increased cost. They were very methodical in prepping the areas for staining which is why the staining looked so good. A very even finish. We are very pleased with the final appearance.

The owner came out and gave his estimate. He was very friendly. They started the job on time as promised. His brother showed up to do the wallpaper removal. They both then finished all the painting. These guys are trustworthy for sure. Did a great job all around. Would highly recommend. Very good work !!! Will use again to paint other rooms in the near future.

I just love these people! They are terrific to work with -- so friendly and they did a beautiful job. When I wanted to make a little change, it was no problem. I am having them do some additional painting for me, and expect that it will be well done also.

    K.G.R.'S Painting
He worked around our schedule and completed the whole project with a brush, which I believe will help the stain to really last. No messy spray or sloppy rollers which we've had done by others in the past and were not as pleased with.  We are very happy with the cost (which included materials), process, and results.  He was detail oriented, maintained a clean work space, and wanted to make sure that the job was completed to our satisfaction.  He even made some repairs that were necessary along the way.  Finished product looks great!

Mr. Veech is very professional. He gave us an estimate 2 days after we called and completed the work within a week. He offered us advice on the selection of building materials to replace siding around windows that blew off during a storm. His quality of work is excellent. I would highly recommend Mr. Veech. We will definitely hire him again to do interior and exterior repairs and installations.

Lee came to my home personally and discussed all of my options and then set up an appointment for a color specialist to visit me. This was wonderful and actually changed my mind about what color scheme I wanted to use in my kitchen. We set up a schedule to perform the work the next week. Billy was the painter and did a great job. He always talked to me about things he was finding and his progress. He was also very good about working around the contractor that was in the same room (I know, not good planning on my part). Billy was also very good at coming back for touch ups and putting up with my pickiness. The rooms are now awesome.!

Chuck Rader Master Painter & Remodeler
Chuck Rader and his associates did an AWESOME job with the variety of projects I needed to have accomplished at the time. The turnaround time on scheduling/ receiving an estimate for work was good.  This project was scheduled well in advance and there was not a delay in the project start.  Chuck was very detailed in his explanations and willing to answer questions as they came up.  He kept me well-informed as the projects proceeded.  The work was finished in a timely manner.  The quality of the work was so good that it has me inspired to continue with additional renovations in the back area of the house.  Chuck & team helped me reclaim an outdoor "room" that I'm now using on a daily basis.  Thank you!
