  • Cleaning was done fine but they kept pushing us to buy a $300 ultraviolet cancer diagnosis, they were not able to give us any reason why but just said x-ray can not detect it. This was despite having no issues with smoking etc. Looked like they had bought equipment to do it and were just pushing everyone to do it.
Cavity filling was a bit painful even with local anesthesia and a small piece of cement broke the next day and I had to go visit them again. My wife came along with me complaining about pain in here jaw after her cavity filling which they said was normal !!!
Overall, the biggest complaint was with billing, before treatment they give one estimate but then send a bill of twice that amount saying insurance did not cover it. I never had that problem with any other dentist. I had to pay around $300 on a estimate of $140.
On asking several friends, I met another person who was given an estimate of $400 for his son's wisdom tooth removal and then send a bill of $800.
I needed wisdom tooth extraction myself and they do have a visiting surgeon but I have moved to another dentist as I have no faith in them anymore.

  • At the appointment the staff were reasonably friendly but when Dr Bracken came into the room she did not even as much as acknowledge me and just started poking and prodding around in my mouth. I thought this was incredibly rude and did not put me at ease at all. Everything else was just downhill from there. She was incredibly rough with me and the entire procedure was very painful. I actually had to ask her to give me two additional shots of the anesthesia part way through the root canal as I was in so much pain. I had had a couple of root canals somewhere else prior to that, which were not painful at all so I did have something to compare to and it was not supposed to feel like that. There was then a delay on getting my new crown in and by the time it was actually ready, my gum had grown up further than it was supposed to and they just tried forcing it onto the root. It was so so painful and I was very upset. If I had not already paid for it I would have just got up and walked out right then but I had no other option. After trying several different ways of forcing it on there and it bleeding a lot, they eventually got it into place.
By far the worst dental experience I have ever had. Dr Laura Bracken has no bedside manners whatsoever and clearly has a very high opinion of herself. I would advise anyone looking for good dental service in the Columbus area to stay well away.

  • I got the personal touch from them. They will come up with solutions that will work with you. They have a great team. I did not have insurance and they worked with me. I was impressed with the time that they spent with me. It was a great experience.
