"I wish all companies were half this good. They are great. I cannot say enough. The price, workers, and results. They really want to please the customer. I highly recommend them.

-Bonnie E.

"I hired a contractor here in FL. I did not have Angie’s List at the time. He came in and told me how he was going to do everything perfect and how he was the" best. He charged more than anyone else but he said its because he is the best. I have been doing renovations for 30 years and it was the worst experience that I have ever had. I do not think he had marble experience. He saw some of the work I had in my other home. He pointed out some other errors on the other marble. He guaranteed his work, he wanted to try and polish it out first. He said he could do it no problem and takes pride in his work. He guaranteed me that if I did not like it he would redo the work He stated in front of his granite guy that if he could not polish it down he would come out, take it down and re-install all the marble in the bathrooms. That was his guarantee. He is now refusing to do so. There are swirls in the marble, grout missing, no caulking around the windows, tiles are cut unevenly. He blamed everything but his job experience. He promised the best. Three of his best, one week and it would be done. However, I got , who stated he had no experience, an "interior decorator" who ran errands and applied grout, and Geoff, who came in and rushed to finish the job.

Artificial (quartz) is cheaper, more uniform, has fewer voids to collect dirt, and is almost as abrasion and chip resistant.

Granite is more expensive, stains and collects dirt a little easier as a rule, and is slighly more chip resistant as a rule.

For durability, I would not rate one over the other - barring a 250 lb guy hopping up on it and cracking it, either is likely to outlive you. Selection is typically based on appearance - quartz tends to be more uniform looking and does not always do a good job of simulating the veining and variations that natural stone has.

Now some of the man made stone counters rival the real granite and othe stones without the maintainence of stone. There are many of them out there and it is more a choice of looks than anything else. Corian is still a strong choice of tops today and one advantage is it can be repaired when scratched on site. If you don't mind the maintainence you can't beat the looks of real stone though unless you need a few pieces to make up the top as the graining may be hard to match up. I am impressed though at how realistic some of the man made products have become. It is more an issue of what brand are available in your area. Most all are made the same way with crushed stone and basically an epoxy binder used to make the sheets.

hires sub-contractors. All are experts in their fields. They take you to the tile store & to the plumbing supply store. They provide a nice dumpster.

The company claimed to fix our countertop and stated he would come out if it split again, which it did 3 months later. This serviceman would not return our calls, and after 5 attempts via text when he agreed to come over to fix the problem, he NEVER showed (all 5 times). He was rude on the phone when we confronted him ultimately. We lost our work time ...More waiting for him to arrive all 5 times. This provider did a very poor job and basically scammed us- we strongly do not recommend them.

and Co. were very easy to work with, explaining the process every step of the way. They are knowledgeable and take pride in their work. The finished job took longer than expected, but the quality was worth the extra time it took to achieve our goals.

This is the second time we have done business with , the first they did Granite in our kitchen now the did a Granite vanity top. They were very helpful with ideas, very timely with there appointments to measure and install. The installers were very nice to deal with, in and out quickly and left no mess. I will recommend and ...More have already, this company to my friends.

After exhaustive for granite for our kitchen countertop, found perfect slabs at . 's worked with us, his patience and professionalism was outstanding. He promised to hold the 2 slabs until the template was made, as the 2 slabs we selected were a slightly ...More different color than others of the same varietal name and there were no others that matched. I was concerned that the slabs wouldn't be held, but assured us, not to worry, that he would hold until the template was created and confirmed the material amount. Once rough template was made, at promised to hold until the carpentry was completed and a final template could be created.
After the carpentry was completed (we removed the raised bar height counter to create a continuous counter surface, the final template was created and fabricated the countertops which took 2 weeks. The the countertop was installed. We used a suggested installer recommended by at .
Finished product is beautiful and met our expectations. We highly recommend and their recommended installer: Granite.

The initial installation did not occur because the sink that they cut the countertop for would not fit in the sinkbase cabinet that I have. They returned the next day and had the right sink, but the countertop did not quite fit correctly and had been miscut in other areas as well. The third time was a charm. The countertop fits great and looks great. ...More The company was all about making things right.

is very punctual, always texting that he was on his way, and then texting when he was leaving, assuring that the house was all locked up. He cleaned all of the grout on the floor, replaced grout where needed, and then restored/polished the travertine to a beautiful, glossy finish. He then completed the job by applying sealer. ...More Our floors look better than when they were first installed. Just beautiful work, and is a perfectionist! We will definitely hire again!
