  Terry was great! In early December, I called him on a Wednesday and the that day he ran by so that he could get me a quote. Talked to him about the quote on Thursday and he was able to come out on Friday. The original quote was for leaf removal, As they were taking care of the job, I asked him about summer mowing. Since I had missed the last mowing of the year and had not trimmed in a while or edged, they completed they leaves and then mowed, trimmed and edged. The yard looked better than it had in a long time. I would highly recommend using them. I will be using them this summer to do weekly lawn care!

  Great, we've been using Rick and Davis Lawn for years. To say they take care of their customers would be a complete understatement. Every week, like clockwork, our lawn is taken care of completely. We also used Davis for a large mulching and general landscaping process. Not only did Rick and his team to a great job, they addresses minor areas of need in and around the lawn and included it in the original cost.   Richard arrived with his crew one afternoon for an 8 hour landscaping deal I'd purchased on AL. I've got a big yard that needs a lot of work to get cleaned up each year, and I'd intended to just have them take care of a few tasks that I hated doing (trimming the ornamental grasses, mostly) and get to the rest as I could. As Richard and I talked, he made an offer to do a complete yard cleanup "done right" for an additional fee. I was surprised by how affordable the price was, considering another quote I'd previously received from another company. His crew worked for a little over two days to get everything cleaned up. They pulled dead/damaged plants, trimmed, edged, put down weed control, and mulched. It looks incredible now - I'm really pleased with the work they did. Richard ran into some unexpected expenses along the way, but honored his original price. I'll certainly use Indy Landscaping again.

  The services were not completed. A large portion of the leaf cleanup was left in my front yard/street without any follow-up or notice from the company. I had to eventually clean this up myself (after a large snowfall). I purchased the service in 2015. After speaking to one of the owner's about the situation, they let me know I would not need to pay the invoice. Off and on since 2015, I received random request for payment of the services, and each time Iet the company know what happened. In March 2017, the company sent me an email saying if I did not pay I would be sent to collections agencies. They claimed I had never complained about their services, citing their internal records as the source. When I asked for a copy of their records, they said I would need to come to the office to look at them.

He is very personable and generally a very good guy to deal with. When I have had any issues in the past, he has been quick to remedy them to my complete satisfaction.

  That was fine.  It was fine, it was just that I guess they were so overwhelmed with people taking advantage of the response it took them longer to get here than I would have liked.  That's not their fault.  There were no additional charges.  Everything went fine with the work.  I don't know about their overall grade because I don't know how much weight to give the promptness.  It's like they responded okay to the thing, but it's just like, when I asked when they could come it was three weeks later. It was in December, actually.  I guess somehow these smaller companies are trying to get more business so they use Angie's List and Angie's List is big so people are trying to take advantage of it. They really should get more people so they can get people's work done faster.  I mean the actual work was good and I was not displeased one they got here and did the work, it was just honoring the request longer than I wish they would've.  I think the promptness is important, but not important enough to not give them above average for their work.  I thought that was a good price.  They responded, they called me like, you know, they called us in regard to us asking for the work but then it was like, oh well, we got overwhelmed by a lot of people so it's going to be closer to four weeks before they got here. We were wanting to get rid of our leaves.   They were punctual in that they said they would be out tomorrow and they came tomorrow. But it was like three and a half weeks before they could call and say they are coming tomorrow. They responded to us taking up the offer, in other words, you know, when we checked we wanted their service, they responded to that, but then when they called us it was like, well, gee, we're really booked up now.  I think some of the smaller companies can afford to have these deals because they're trying to get business and notoriety, but on the other hand they can't handle the business Angie's List can afford them.  If I were Angie's people I would say, "well, how big is your company," and then when you find out it's a small company, you say, "well we need to find 5 other companies that want to offer the same deal."  They need to be spread out over more people somehow -- more service providers.   They were professional.  I have their number now and I called them in September for something that I needed in the future.

  They did an exceptional job with my lawn this year.  Chris made extra effort to use smaller lawn equipment when needed to improve quality of grass cutting.  I appreciate their attention to detail and Chris' responsiveness to emails and requests.

  Scenic Green

  We bought a Big Deal for fall clean-up. We have about 1/4 acre in the suburbs with several mature maples and oaks in the front and back yards. Scenic Green got to work immediately and cleaned out all the shrubs (many surrounding the house), too. They also cleaned the leaves from the driveway, deck, sidewalks, and even along the street in front of our home. We are happy with the result. We had anticipated additional charges/hours due to the amount of leaves, but this company was able to compete the work in two hours. Nice. Original work dates were delayed, but we have come to expect delays for fall clean-ups due to Indiana weather or surprise work loads. Good communication via email, too. (I never needed to call them.) We would use this company again.

  It was okay. They did a good job. I could have used more time. But that was not their fault. That was my fault. They didn't get everything done that I wanted done. But there was more than I realized. The price was fair. The quality was good. The only trouble was there was only one person. I think that's why it took so long. I thought there would be more than one person. He didn't come to see me when he left.
