Description

Welcome to the website for Fishers Veterinary Associates, including Fishers Veterinary Hospital, Carmel Veterinary Clinic, and Brookschool Road Veterinary Clinic. Fishers Veterinary Hospital was opened by Dr. David Brown in 1979. The Carmel Clinic was opened a year later. In 1988, the Fishers hospital moved into a new facility on Allisonville Road north of 116th Street, and in 2002, the Brookschool Road clinic opened to serve the needs of the fast-growing east side of Fishers and Indianapolis' Geist area. As our practice has grown with the area, we continue to provide the compassionate care and quality medicine and surgery that our patients deserve. Our commitment to strengthening and nurturing the deep bonds that people have with their pets is also reflected in the attention we give your pet. We offer your pets the same level of care we would want (and actually do give) our own pets....

Appointment was great, Vet seemed very knowledgeable and ran appropriate tests. Followed up next day with results. Only concern is the cost. A lot more expensive than my previous vet and several smaller charges for things that my previous vet did not charge for (ex. $12 Pet waste disposal fee for the urine) and they add up.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Dog had skin issues and a possible UTI. Also ongoing urinary issues I wanted a second opinion on

Each visit exceeded our expectations!

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
We moved to Carmel about 18 months ago and needed to find a good vet for our two dogs, a Westie and a Maltese. We lucked out because the closest vet to our home was the first place we tried. There was no reason to keep searching because from the very first visit, we knew we had found a terrific vet office with a full line of services. Every trip, and there have been MANY, has been a positive experience. Our very old Westie, Maisy, had developed major kidney problems several years ago and needed weekly and bi-weekly treatments for several weeks. Our Maltese, Toby, had to have a benign tumor removed. Dr. Brown did an amazing job with the surgery and follow-up wound care. Both dogs have been boarded there and have also been groomed several times. We had an emergency one evening and had to make a midnight run to meet one of the vets. No matter why we are there, we always receive friendly, caring, and professional services each time we walk through the door, and we can tell that the pets are treated very well, too. Sadly, Maisy is no longer with us, but even in her death, the staff could not have been more kind. Hats off to this veterinary office and to all of their amazing staff! A shout-out, too, to Jessica who was an especially big help to us in Maisy's last days.

They did wonderful to us in all of their offices. They’re very competent and very caring. Dr. Lee kept the initiative and learned acupuncture. She has incorporated that into her practice. Certain days are acupuncture days. The dogs usually have arthritis and it worked wonderful. The cost was average for senior and semi yearly exam and shots. The price was reasonable as expected.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Our regular vet is Dr. Sarah Lee. We saw her last week for a quick check up. We found out that the dog needs a possible surgery.

While our primary veterinarian is Dr. Lee, Dr. Cloud has performed emergency procedures.  He does such an amazing job, that I would like him to be in the operating room with ME!  He does a very good bandaging job.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
We used Dr. Cloud for emergencies.
