ABEST BLINDSHad a new house built and needed window coverings for 2 single windows, 3 double, and 1 double with transoms. I confess I did no shopping around, just did a bit of research and best blinds was the only place I was going to call. I received an appointment for about 10 days out. Michelle arrived on time. My criteria was I didn't want to spend and arm and a leg and I wanted easy to clean. With Michelle's help we managed to choose blinds for all the windows, she measured and the entire appointment was maybe 1 hour 45 minutes. We chose faux wood for most and the honeycomb top down bottom up shades for the master bedrooms. Received quote the following day ( they offer a discount for check or cash) and I accepted and sent them 50% as a deposit. I think it was about 2 1/2 weeks later they called and set up an appointment for today to install. Jeff arrived when he was scheduled and made quick work of getting everything installed. He then walked me through the steps on how the blinds operate and how to clean which is easy! The blinds are guaranteed forever against fading and the cords carry a 5 year warranty. I actually dealt with 3 different people from this company and all were wonderful. I also feel if I ever need support they will be there to help. Oh and by the way the blinds look wonderful!- Laura G.

AHawk's Ridge Interior Accents IncMr. Habegger did an excellent job of repairing one shade in our home by restringing it and making sure it rolled up and down perfectly. He had to replace the strings with the proper type for our shade and this repair would be complicated for the average homeowner since the shade has two functions to roll from the top down and from the bottom up. The second shade was missing end caps and also had many broken parts that needed to be replaced, so he took this shade to his workplace to order the correct parts and he also restrung this one. The installation service was done quickly and efficiently and it was much appreciated by the homeowners. The cost was very reasonable for such excellent service. If we decide to ever order new window treatments for any room, we would definitely order them from this business, Hawk's Ridge Interior Accents, Inc.- Anne and William H.

AHawk's Ridge Interior Accents IncWe had a large, oversized honeycomb shade, which was going up very crookedly when raising the shade. They set an appt to get the shade to send it to the company. They were very professional and arrived at the designated time. It took lots of effort to get the shade down, send it back to the company and then reinstall it. Mr. Habegger found a small opening on one of the edges on the back side of the shade and notified Hunter Douglas Co. The company replaced the entire shade at no cost. Hawk Ridge’s price was very reasonable for all their time and effort. We were very satisfied with their work and services.- Letha L.

AHawk's Ridge Interior Accents IncHe was able to restring the door shade while here. He had to take the two large window shades with him and order the replacement tape . Then he restrung the shades and brought them back and hung them. He added some new parts that were missing. The work was excellent and the cost very reasonable. We would highly recommend Mr. Habegger to anyone wanting any type of window shades or repairs.- Letha L.

FIf I could give zero stars, I would. First, it was taking forever to get my order. When I looked at my order, they somehow had the wrong address (my former address from five years ago), so I contacted them to change the address. They assured me that the address was changed. A couple of weeks later, I was notified via email that my order was delivered but when I checked my front door it wasn't there, so I went to my old address, 30 minutes away and got lucky that the owner was there and had received my order. When I got it home the 3 roller shades that I ordered for side-by-side windows were all 4 inches too big. I followed the online measurement directions which suggested that you add 2 inches per side to your measurements for an outside mount. I should have stayed with my original measurements. When I called, they suggested that I keep an inch on each side. They re-made them, and AGAIN sent them to the wrong address - even after I re-confirmed that they had the right one. Again, I had to go to my old address to look for my delivery. This time, no one was home, so I took a chance and waited in front of their house for a while until someone may come home. Luckily, someone showed up within 90 minutes. This time they had showed up with 2 boxes! They re-made it twice (6 roller shades), all still too big! Due to the global pandemic and for personal reasons, I waited to address the issue. When I finally was able to contact them, I was sent a message that the CSR's supervisor determined that the blinds were made correctly. Therefore, they cannot offer a remake for this order. Their policy states that they will make up to 4 shades if the customer is not completely happy. However, they offered to remake the shades at a discounted price! I will not give them one more penny! Worst service ever! A $500.00 lesson learned - They stole my money and left me with 9 useless roller shades to get rid of. I do not recommend them!

FThe company had requested for a $1000.00 upfront payment, but after confirming with my insurance company, I was advised not to pay any upfront payment instead advised to make sure that the service should be done completely before demand for payment is made. I then called Hays and Sons, to tell them that not a dime would be paid upfront, not until the service and work has been completed. I advised the Keith and the contract coordinator Jim, to call my insurance agent and they will be the one to arranged the $1000.00 upfront payment. I have been dealing with Angie's List for quite a while and I wanted to check if the company is with Angie's List, and they were indeed listed.
