AJK ServicesI researched a repairman online and ended up on Angie's List. After I filled out my info there, Justin called me a short time later. This was in the evening after work hours. He came to my house the next morning. I had directly contacted another repair company that had me waiting 3 days for repair. Justin explained exactly what he found wrong. He then provided estimate for repairs. His work was fast and efficient. He showed me the faulty parts, and we figured out the initial problem was a painter had painted door exterior which stuck causing gears to hang up and gradually bend. Justin is very knowledgeable of Craftsman openers, but he also did quick fix of Liftmaster opener on single garage door (3-car garage). Friendly, professional, and good at assessing the problem.- Linda F.

THEY WERE ABLE TO COME OUT TO MEASURE OUR DOOR/SHOW ME THE CATALOG THE SAME DAY I CALLED AND HAD THE DOOR INSTALLED THREE DAYS LATER. APrecision Door ServiceI have now used Precision twice, and I will use them again next time. They are timely, professional, and give a detailed estimate before proceeding. They will also look the entire door system over, and provide feedback on any other areas that may require service in the near future. AFamily Doors LLCI had an old Genie garage door opener that was on its last legs. Â I called several places, and the pricing for Perfection was right in the middle. Â Nathan was responsive, punctual and professional. Â He had the older opener out and the new one installed in less than an hour. Â He came out the next week to swap out the standard wall unit with an upgraded one that has a Vacation setting and a few other features. Â I especially appreciated that, even though he told me the door was pretty out of balance, he didn't try to sell me into having anything done at that time and instead just recommended I have it re-balanced when I need a spring replaced. Â I would highly recommend Perfection to anyone needing work on their garage doors and openers.- Andrew E.

APrecision Door ServiceExcellent work and professionalism! I sent an email one evening requesting a quote. I received a callback the next morning and a time was scheduled for an estimate. I can't remember the person's name (it wasn't Jared) who came out for the estimate. He was very respectful and gave me multiple options for either repair of my current door or replacement. I decided on the replacement and he said that is what he would have chosen but Precision has the customer decide for themselves without "pushing" one option over another. I was impressed. One week later, I was notified the door was in and the work was scheduled. I was told I would be called the morning of installation (I was) and was told David would be out in 15 minutes. David came and introduced himself and explained the work he would be doing. He was very respectful and professional. When he was finished, he explained in detail what had been done and how to operate the door if the electricity goes out. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs garage door repairs or a new installation.- Jackie F.

AUpRight Garage Door ServicesMy garage door spring broke last Thursday evening, rendering it impossible to even manually lift it up to move the car out, and my wife and I were to start our out of the state 4 day trip the next morning! Fortunately we found UpRight Garage Door Services via online search. The owner Kurt was working far in airport area at the moment, while my residence is across town in the north-east area. Kurt, upon learning our urgent need for help, promised that he could come as soon as his job there was done. Sure enough, Kurt showed up that evening; he fixed the garage door, performed 26 point preventative check, and offered very helpful maintenance tips. Kurt is professional, knowledgeable, efficient, patient and friendly. We cannot be happier to have Kurt provide the service, and will definitely recommend his company to anyone who needs his/her garage door taken care of.- Han F.

We called them, they gave us an estimate, we paid a down payment, they ordered supplies and was working on it by September and was finished before our daughter’s weddings in October! FDennis Hughes is NOT a licensed contractor in Allen County. We could never get him to show proof of insurance or bonding. I hope that this review will prevent someone from hiring this company. We hired him to redo a patio roof. The flashing around the utilities pipe was improperly done. The roofing was installed backwards and lacked the proper amount of nails. It was not connected to the house properly. The gutter was installed so that it was useless and prevented windows from opening. We tried to get him to correct the work but he always had some excuse for not doing the work. He was rude and combative and refused to bring his paperwork to prove he was licensed and insured. He yelled at me and my brother as we tried to help my mother resolve this issue. We finally had to hire someone else to completely redo it. I wish that the address for this work would not be revealed to Dennis.
