    Your Handyman-Jeff Ashcraft
We needed our stairway repaired and carpeted. Also, our deck needed some repairs and repainted. That is when we found Jeff on Angie's list. Jeff and his crew are very professional and hard-working. They listen to your concerns and find the best solution for the job. We are totally satisfied with the quality of work that they provided. The cost of their labor is also very reasonable. We highly recommend Jeff and his crew for any job that needs to be done.

    Handy Helps
It was warranty service. The work was done a year and half ago. It started leaking. I was told that it does not cover by his warranty as it was not his fault. That was fine. Asked him to do it as a new contract. Replaced the flat roof with a slanted shingles roof. 1. Edges are made flush with the siding, potential for water going in. 2. Flushing with the brick wall is done poorly, black glue and caulk are all over. 3. Even though it seems like tons of poorly applied caulk is there but there is big gaps between flushing and wall. 4. Black caulk completely ruined the look of the front of the home. 5. New shingles was used but it is badly scraped, looks heavily damages. 6. Gutter and down spout joint has gaps, can see the light through. 7. Angles/bends of the downspout is poorly done, dented and bent and colapsed.

Dave was great to work with and did a great job of keeping the project moving completing in the time frame promised. Everyone that came to work on my bathroom were professional and performed quality work. This was pretty much a complete gut, moving plumbing, drywall, tile, flooring, electrical. I highly recommend them!

Handy Randy Home Maintenance Service LLC
Randy does not misrepresent what he can or cannot do. He is methodical and reasonably productive, but not highly productive (especially when I was not present). I believe he allocates only 3 hours for his morning shift and 3 for afternoon shift. He always leaves the house to take a lunch break. He does not stay late to finish a task. (This allows him to bill you for a return trip charge.) He did not always follow the tasks in my order of priority; thus, something I really wanted to get repaired was not repaired (requiring a return trip) and something that didn't matter that much was repaired. (Despite two full days, Randy failed to install a shelf in my upstairs closet, even though it was at or near the top of my list when he returned.) The last time I hired Randy, I was quite surprised and disappointed when he abruptly left at 5PM while performing plumbing services installing a replacement kitchen sink -- without any concern I'd be washing my dishes in a hall vanity sink -- for weeks. (He complained about his drive to my Brownsburg home, which apparently was longer than my Westfield home.) I'm writing this review because I paid Randy on two separate occasions to fix my outdoor garage lights and both are not working. When I texted Randy on Jan. 10, 2018, telling him of the need to return and fix (warranty his work), he texted back three minutes later a fabricated story that said the only thing he did was "to remove the dust," when in fact I bought new sockets to install -- twice. The first set of sockets he said were the wrong size, so I re-purchased different size sockets Randy told me to repurchase. When I texted Randy back, he did not respond. Thus, Randy is not warrantying his work, and my "D" rating.

Well Done Handyman & Home Renovations
Wonderful work! Paul repaired the holes beautifully - there was barely any excess mud left to sand off of them. In addition to doing spectacular work repairing the walls, Paul re-installed a hand rail that was not initially installed properly (and pulled out of the wall, causing holes) and showed me the correct way to do touch-up on my walls so that I can cover over nail holes and walls screws that have popped out before I paint. I will definitely call Well Done Handyman again and most certainly ask for Paul.

    The Handy Hubby
He was very knowledgeable. We liked that he had a knowledge. He just wasn't as detailed oriented as I would've liked.  He did the work fine. It wasn't bad work. He left some things that just didn't look as close cut. He did some fascia work on the front and you could see a little bit of a ripple in there. It just wasn't super smooth and straight. But it was fine - it was done well enough.

Jeff and group have helped me keep my place in good repair. Many items have needed replaced or fixed and they consistently provide excellent service. I have referred three people to him in the neighborhood, and all thank me for the referral. I would be unable to do items myself, and they consistently show up and take on whatever task is needed. He charges a fair price when I have made comparisons. I would not be able to remain independent if I did have have his company for help.

    Bill Brauman Construction
Bill, Jeff, and I worked out an ambitious schedule to get all the work I needed done on my house. They showed up on-time consistently, knew what they were doing, and confidently did the work. They coordinated painting and flooring crews, and made sure I was satisfied with all the work. They finished on-time and on-budget. They are experienced, personable, professional, and quick. My house looks great - Bill Brauman Construction for the win!

    Rollins Rentals & Rehabs LLC
I really don't like giving negative reviews and am a reasonable person, but I feel it's necessary to be honest about our experience. I purchased the "Handyman for a Day" deal back in early November, as Lori with RR&R recommended via the Angie's List messaging system that this deal would be the best option for our work. When I purchased the deal, I was prompted to provide three preferred dates for the work. Those dates came and went with no contact from the RR&R. I found it nearly impossible to get in touch with anyone from the company to schedule the work. I even left more messages via Angie's List with no response. It got to the point where I was calling daily, sometimes several times a day, but no one would pick up the phone or return my calls. Finally someone picked up one day in late December and I was able to get something scheduled the week leading up to Christmas. The gentleman came in the morning but said he would only be able to work a half day because he had an appointment in the afternoon. He assured us he would be back the next morning to finish the job. He also had a list of supplies he needed, which I purchased at the hardware store and had at the ready for when he returned. The next day, we called around noon because we hadn't heard anything. He said he was called to an emergency and would be over either later that day or early the next day. That was the last we heard from him and he would not answer any more of our calls. I knew getting in touch with the company would be difficult, but I began my incessant calling. A lady eventually picked-up and said she would find out what was going on and call me right back. She did, incredibly, and told us the guy would be back the next morning. He was a no-show once again. With Christmas now only a few days away and family coming in town, we were stuck with two sinks that had been only partially installed, one in our master that had been taken out and replaced but without water supply and one working faucet that had not yet been started. Long story short, I continued calling and leaving voice messages beginning the next week, throughout the month of January and into February (now more than 3 months since the original purchase date of the deal). Finally someone picked up my call and I was able to have the work scheduled to be completed on 2/9. The lady on the phone said the guy who started our job was no longer with the company, as if that made it okay that our calls were never returned and the job remained incomplete. The job was finished that day and the guy was nice, but we had to fix a few things on our own afterwards (such as the lift rod on three of the drains that didn't work). We also had to go out and purchase different supplies; the new guy said he had no idea why we were asked to purchase the items we initially bought. Very unimpressed. The work was eventually done so I don't feel an 'F' overall is appropriate, but I'm quite disappointed and will not be hiring again, nor would I recommend to others.

This is the 3rd job we have had done. Jeff, Robert and Robert Sr spent 2 weeks at our house doing this work. We actually added the backsplash and extra trim after they started the work and they had no problem adding the extra work in. I had no concerns having them in our house while we were at work. They really take pride in their work. We found a couple of places that needed caulked after they left and they came back and fixed them within 2 days. We have received lots of compliments on their work. I'm including pictures with this review. We have other projects that we want done later in the year and we wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.
