  • This is the second project I've hired Indiana Crawl Space Repair for. They have done great work for us on both projects. The owner, Larry Ralph Jr., answered all my questions and worked with me to tweak the project to meet our specific needs and budget. I appreciate his and his workers flexibility and attention to my concerns and requests.

  • We contacted four companies in the Indianapolis area to finish our basement in Brownsburg. One company dragged its feet, one company never responded, one company's craftsmanship looked concerning, and the final company was CMH Builders, a company whose information was passed on to us by our builder. Within 15 minutes of leaving a message for an interview, I received a message back, and we received nothing but good communication thereafter. From our initial meetings with Brandon to the designing with Megan to the contracts and meetings with the owner Craig, and the overall finishing with Jared, we were very happy. They stuck to the schedule, started on time, and finished early, despite our requests for some changes/updates during the finishing process (we decided to have them do the painting, and they added that in on an off-day). The overall finished product is amazing, and the 1,000-square foot addition to our home is used almost every day (it's where our son's play area is). There are a couple things I would have changed, but those were mostly on our end because it's hard to visualize everything when you have a clean slate. The only issue we had was the final cleaning, which could have been better (it was a third-party crew, I believe). But we'd hire them again on a project in a heartbeat and suggest them to anyone in the area.

  • I requested service online and was promptly called by Erica, who was very friendly and got my service scheduled. Andrews crew came out when scheduled and got the work done efficiently. They did a really good job. I can't believe how clean the crawl space is now and the floors are finally solid. The price was very reasonable.

  • They installed 68 "sister" joists and new sill plates while leveling everything. The drainage system consisted of a new pit and sump pump, a trench around the perimeter with perforated pipe covered with rock and then a vapor barrier over the entire area.

  • Very well. He came out quickly, explained process, and most importantly stopped water coming in basement for a reasonable price. Hopefully won't need to call him again, but would not hesitate to hire again.

  • Geoff came out and evaluated the drainage issues, scoped and ran the pipes to lay out all possible options for fixing. Decided to put in PVC. After digging and reassessing, he determined a better solution for ongoing maintenance and current drainage best practice. Very happy with end result, cost and options for future care, should issues arise. They were very efficient and worked with our schedule. They were conscious of caring for other parts of the yard with machinery. Geoff was always honest and upfront on timing (rain delays), costs, and options.

  • It went great. They removed and hauled away the grass and dirt, formed up my new driveway, drilled rebar into my existing driveway to tie the new and old concrete together and poured the concrete with excellent concrete finishing work.

  • Perfectionist Carpentry is a wonderful company to work with. Rob and his team were always on time for the job daily. They were always in uniform and very professional. At the end of each day they cleaned up after themselves and put things back in place so that my family's routine wasn't interrupted or disturbed. They completed all work on or before the targeted finish date. I would recommend Perfectionist Carpentry to everyone I know. I know all future updates in my home will be completed by Rob and his team at Perfectionist Carpentry.

  • Using this contractor was a nightmare.  They were hired to repair our house after a fire as a preferred contractor from our insurance company.  But after 1 month into the job we had to fire them.  Many parts of the job they said that were completed were either not done properly or not done at all.  Wood that had been charred from the fire was suppose to be sealed, but was not done properly.  Old burnt insulation from the fire was reused.  They broke my granite countertop and only wanted to pay to match up the broken piece which was impossible to get an exact match. My insurance company had to push them to get them to replace it all.  I believe I was lied to several times by the project manager and could not trust him. The insurance company also made them pay for the damage they did to my house during the demolition.
Imagine having your house hit by lightning and catching on fire.  Then moving out of your home and having to deal with these kinds of issues with a contractor.  Bottom line is we had to fire them because we could not trust them, and because of the bad quality of their work.

  • As mentioned by other reviews, their policy about both spouses being present at an inspection is flat stupid.  I was told by their scheduler that they have had divorced / divorcing folks attempt to get work done to create conflict or establish cost responsibility for the other person.  Well, I fit neither scenario.  What a joke!

Their assessment rep. was nearly 30 minutes late which caused us to not get finished in time.  He called Ron, the person I originally spoke with, and told him to call me back to reschedule a time to finish the assessment and discuss quotes.  Ron called me back two days later and I explained why we did not get finished.  He gave me two options for times but insisted, again, that I arrange a time that my wife was going to be there even though it was their fault the first assessment time was not sufficient.  Stupid.  I told him I would have to talk to my wife and see if either time / or another time will work.

I called back on Friday, Jan. 8th and Ron was in a meeting so someone took a message.  Ron never called me back.

Not worth the headache or effort.  Three other companies promptly worked with me and, get this, trusted that I am capable of making a decision without the joint consent of my wife.

Will never contact them again.  Awful business model and extremely poor professionalism.
