    Fire Dawgs Junk Removal
Both John and his partner (leader I forgot his name) were wonderful guys, professional, great personalities and easy going. They were very kind to my 4 y/o grandson who was so excited to see the big truck and allowed him to throw in some junk and lock the back door! What a positive experience! Thank you!

They clean my space once a week. They are reliable, professional, and do great work. I have also had them do some painting work for me in the past and they are great when I have large items that need to be hauled away. I will continue to use them.

This review is actually for Republic Services. This company is horrible!! Do not use them for garbage removal. They are over double in price from their competitors and there billing activity is very suspect. They quote you low in the beginning, but every bill afterward will have suspicious additional costs they add in until eventually you are paying double what you were initially quoted for! I've heard even higher from other customers, but when they jacked my bill up to twice what I started paying them, that was when I was ready to leave them as a customer. But apparantly me leaving them and no longer being a customer did not stop them for billing me additional fees! They have sent me a letter threatening collections for 6.88 that I don't even know what is for as its the first letter I received from them since leaving their service. I'm being threatened for collections of a bill I was never notified of and for services I did not receive. And based on other online reviews I am by far not the only victim of this company's crazy billing tactics. So not only do you over pay for what services you do get, you'll be charged for services you don't get! ANY garbage removal company would probably be better than this company! And I mean ANY!!

For more than ten years, we have used the Sears and Son trash removal company.  They were wonderful to work with.  We live on a private driveway off S Smith Road but they had no problems with driving up the driveway to service their three customers who also have homes in this private addition.
In March 2014, Sears was acquired by Hoosier Disposal and fortunately they kept our Sears driver on staff.  The service continued as before and I had no complaints.  The service costs approximately $20/month or $240/year, which is a very fair price.
Two weeks ago, Hoosier Disposal sent a letter stating that they would no longer be collecting trash from loose bags or from trash cans owned by owners.  Instead, they would deliver a large container designed to be lifted by their truck.  They delivered the container and left it on our property, not on S. Smith Road, as they did with the other three customers.
Last week, on the designated day, Thursday December 18th, the trash was not picked up and we called them.  They said they'd changed routes and perhaps the new driver was not aware of the trash can locations.  My wife explained the driveway layout and where the container was and they said they'd collect the next day.  They never picked it up and we called them on Monday 12/22, when they said they'd try again that day.  They never came and I called them again on 12/23 when it was explained to me that the reason they did not pick up was that the container was not left on the actual county road, (S Smith Road).  I explained that I left the container where they had dropped it on our property two weeks ago.
I explained that for more than ten years Sears had picked up the trash on our actual property, which is more than 100 yards from S. Smith Road, including since the acquisition of Sears by Hoosier Disposal in March 2014.  The lady with whom I spoke told me that their policy was not to do so and that the driver was wrong to do so.  I explained that it was not in any way practical for me to drag the trash can 100 yards from my house to S Smith Road, but she just repeated their policy.
I am cancelling my service.  Several other trash collection companies in Monroe county are quite prepared to pick up on the property and we'll be trying one of those.

    Nagas Landscape Design, LLC
Jason and his crew hand dug the entire project. They removed the railroad ties (a feat in itself since they were extremely heavy) and dug into the hillside to form a terraced base to support landscaping blocks. The steep slope they worked on was full of bedrock, gravel and large rocks, heavy clay soil, and "the most snake holes" they had ever run across. They built up the foundation with the blocks and filled in the new area with very small pea-sized gravel, which when compacted acts as a solid service. In order to bring the different sized gravels down to the project area, Jason had to haul the gravel in a trailer down an extremely steep driveway by carefully going down backwards. He did a great job! When you meet Jason, you can't help but like his happy and positive personality and have confidence in his solution for your problem. His crew was very respectful of both our family and of their boss. We requested some additional work, which he gladly agreed to do by just adding labor costs. I would definitely hire him again. In fact, he is doing some work for us later this fall. I might mention that he was a couple weeks behind when he said the project would be started, but that was because there had been a rainy spell, which meant delays for whatever project he was currently working on. He gives you his best, which is excellent.

    Ping's Tree Service
They are very careful with how they trimmed the trees. They made sure that they did not fall on anything.  However a part fell on the patio and broke a tile so they knock $10 off the price.  I would use them again and they cleaned up very well.

They were able to pick up items from a house in Georgia without my presence (I live out of state). The owner of the franchise contacted me as soon as possible, and was able to pick up the items much sooner than expected.

I've asked Dave for his help a couple of times. He was very easy to reach, and came out to my house within about 24 hours each time. He was very professional and personable, and worked quickly. He did a great job, and charged a bargain rate. I will call him the next time I have any  household job, and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

NAGAS did a great job of hauling off the wood and trash.  I was particularly pleased that when they were done they swept the drive where we had stacked it all so that you couldn't tell the pile had ever been there.  They were available within a day or two of the time I originally called.  They provided and stayed within their original estimate for the hauling and came when they said they would.  We were very pleased with the job they did of rebuilding the flower bed.  Although we originally planned to use landscaping timber, Jason suggested we use treated lumber to match the posts of our fence.  We decided to have it built that way.  Jason and his crew came out when scheduled and had the job done in the time they said it would take.  They adjusted our downspout so that rainwater would not erode they newly reworked flower bed.  They filled the bed with topsoil and graded it so that water will drain away from the house.  They did a beautiful job of building the retaining wall.  They reinforced the structure with re-bar as well as toe-ing the wood and using wood screws.  They were careful with two established plants that we did not want disturbed.  They also removed old mulch and mulched all of our beds in the front and back of the house.  We also had them fill in about six low areas in the yard with topsoil. When they were done they cleaned everything up very nicely.  We are very satisfied with the work.
