    Jerry's Appliance Repair
Tech took less than 5 minutes to diagnose the problem and find cost of parts + labor. He used the exact same information I offered to provide over the phone however was told the tech needed to come to the house to give an estimate for repair. That cost was $79+ and the estimate for repair was twice as much as a local company I called after Jerry's service man left. This company is a rip off.

    Jerry's Appliance Repair
An appliance store here in Bloomington referred me to Jerry's. I phoned them on Thursday morning and was treated courteously and given an appointment for Friday. Then their well-designed and detailed web site took over, confirming my appointment and giving me precise information about when the service crew would arrive. They showed up right on time. Tyler and Steve listened to my problem and located what was causing the leak. They corrected the positioning of the filter and showed me how to install the next filter properly. They were friendly and courteous. Tyler explained the charges, which were very reasonable. We are completely satisfied with the service.

    MCGARRY APPLIANCE
I left a message asking for help with a kitchen sink leak. They called back and said they would be at my home the following day between 1 and 2. At 2:30, no one had arrived. I called at 2:30, no answer, and called up until 5:00 leaving messages each time. No call back and no one ever arrived. The following day, I had another company complete the work needed. I am not one to do reviews; however I felt that I was completely disregarded and I would not recommend them to anyone.

    MORRISON'S TV & APPLIANCES
This place is absolutely TERRIBLE!! I waited a week to get someone out to my house to look at my appliance and he walks in and says that he can't do anything today because he needs a helper, he'll try to schedule me for the following week. Then as he leaves he backs into my retaining wall and knocks it over. I call the office and the guy lies about it so they tell me I must have a picture of him backing into the wall before they will do anything. Go anywhere else but do not trust these people. They a not good people.

    MORRISON'S TV & APPLIANCES
Technician came out twice and determined we needed a part. Supposedly, the part was ordered that day. After not hearing from Morrison's, my husband called and spoke with the manager, Kevin. Manager said the part would be in the next day. It was clear from the conversation that the part had not been ordered yet. Technician arrived for a third visit and upon entering our home, criticized the news channel my husband was watching, calling it fake/fantasy news. When my husband asked the technician not to discuss politics, the technician immediately turned on a noisy tool to keep my husband from saying more. When the technician left, my husband started washing up some pots and pans and found himself standing in a pool of water. When he looked under the sink, he saw that the technician had uncoupled the sink drain, allowing water to pour into cabinet and onto floor. He also wrapped the water line around the electrical cord for the garbage disposal, which we believe is a code violation. My husband called Kevin, explained the situation, and said that he'd put a stop payment on the check. Rather than apologize for his technician's behavior, Kevin belligerently said they were coming out to take the part back. Mind you, we will pay for the part but not for the service; and we are reporting the company to the Better Business Bureau.

    Jerry's Appliance Repair
I've used Jerry's before for a refrigerator, which is why I called them again. The repairman (whose name I unfortunately forget) is a delight. He's friendly and VERY thorough. He was able to diagnose what was a complex two-part problem, order parts and install them correctly. This is a very reliable company I would use again.

    Robinson Appliance Service
He was nice enough but didn't even open the top of the unit which would have showed the $15 part that broke immediately. And his rate was very high. $30 higher than anyone else in the area. He spent 20 min talking about how he couldn't tell if it was going to be repairable without turning on the water then left with his $105, saying we probably needed a new machine because it was probably the driveshaft.

    Jerry's Appliance Repair
It took about 3 days for them to be able to come for the first visit which we thought was reasonable. The technician called when he was on his way (and came within the time frame that we expected). He did a preliminary analysis of the problem we were experiencing with a Bosh Dishwasher and a Samsung refrigerator; both needed parts. He called his supplier, verified the parts were in stock and ordered them. He then scheduled a return visit to install the parts. The return visit was covered by the cost of the initial visit so we were not charged a second house call. We had called another local repair service but that company does not work on either Bosh or Samsung appliances. We also learned that Jerry's is the company that Lowe's uses for its warranty work. I was able to ask the repair guy questions about the appliances that had nothing to do with the work he was performing and he was very willing to give me feedback that I found useful. From our experience I highly recommend this company.

    Jerry's Appliance Repair
Both repairs were relatively straightforward, but the service technician diagnosed them correctly within minutes of arrival. He even had the parts on hand to fix the refrigerator. He ordered the part for the dryer and came back within a week to fix that as well. The technician was polite, helpful and very knowledgable. He fixed it right the first time and at a reasonable price.

    Jerry's Appliance Repair
My washing machine was still under warranty with Lowe's so I called them when my washer started having problems (it refused to spin out the laundry after the wash cycle). They set me up with an appointment for Wednesday for a repair person from Jerry's to come look at my washer. I ended up having to call Jerry's to reschedule the appointment for Friday. The person who answered the phone was courteous and moved my appointment as well as described to me what would happen--although they could only give me an 8-5 service window when I called, they would send me an email on Thursday to give me a more focused service window for Friday. On Thursday I received the email saying the repair person would arrive between 8-12 and that I was the second person in line for maintenance on Friday (indicating to me that the repair person would come earlier in the maintenance window). At about 8:15am I received a phone call from the repair person telling me that he would arrive in about 30 minutes. About 30 minutes later he arrived and examined my washer. He explained what the problem was, got a part out of his truck, replaced the part in the washer, and did some diagnostic testing. He was very nice and very fast.
